    Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli Bowl
    Reeta B.

Lime Tiger is a part of the Asian food wing at Ponce City Market. Their menu consists mostly of vermicelli noodle bowls and rice bento boxes with whatever protein you want from the list. I got the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl. The food is all freshly made and you can even watch them cook and put your meal together right behind the window. The amount of food was perfect for lunch. The chicken was flavorful and the whole meal felt very fresh. Since it is part of a food court with other restaurant options, it is also a great place to go with friends and family where everyone can get things from different places to share and try everything!

After browsing all the different food options at Ponce City Market, I'm so glad I chose Lime Tiger -- it ended up being the perfect pick. I ordered the shaken beef, and it was exactly what I was craving after a long stretch of travel. The beef was incredibly tender, moist, and full of flavor, and the rice and fresh veggies made the whole dish feel satisfying without being heavy. Everything tasted so clean and balanced -- flavorful but still light. The staff were also fantastic! Both the cooks and the cashier were super friendly and answered all my questions about the menu without hesitation. Their energy and warmth really added to the experience. With so many choices in Ponce City Market, it's easy to feel overwhelmed -- but I'm so happy I landed at Lime Tiger. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Atlanta!

The Chicken Curry was super dry and hard to eat, the rice was okay and salad tasted dry. Please avoid this place.

Inside is very clean and spacious and we were seated immediately. We didn't end up drinking but the cocktail menu looked very interesting. The menu was very large which was a little overwhelming, but the server was great with giving recommendations. Ultimately, my friend and I decided to get the Rijsttafel (rice table) which was basically a tasting platter of some of their best dishes. I loved the beef redang and the chicken satay as well as the refreshing pickled veggies! I also thought the fish curry was very tangy and unique in flavor. Overall, neat spot I've driven past so many times so very glad I got to check it out!

Restaurant The restaurant is small, cozy and romantic for a couple. Decor is simple but nice. Our wain was Chen. Chen was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first time there. I ordered the Rijsttafel (rice table). OMG everything was good. My fav might be the shrimp sambal. My spouse ordered the Flying Fish. This fish was fresh, not really seasoned, but a clean, fresh taste. The beef satay had a grilled, smokey taste, which was very flavorful. Overall this meal was a 10 out of 10. The food is very flavorful, not spicy. I will return, want to try the entire menu. Oh the drinks have a punch too.

Restaurant area was okay with the atmosphere similar to a gas station cafe and an adjoining market of Indonesian products. I was tempted to purchase a package of frozen squid for later dinner prep and then decided maybe another time. Rice was cooked perfectly and curry sauce was rich and flavorful. Green beans with tofu were nice. Eggplant dish was swimming in oil. Pork rib pieces were inedible and unable to be thoroughly chewed due to tough texture and bone fragments. My dining companion had a dish of gelatinous beef and we remarked that we should have read more thoroughly pre-visit before doing any pointing and ordering. So, that's on us! We were unable to translate the buffet signage and ordered based off of appearance only. Would recommend researching before visiting if this is an unfamiliar cuisine as the establishment was not user-friendly beyond a specific knowledgeable dining customer. We were limited by our lack of info. We also believe we visited near the end of lunch service and this may have impacted our specific experience. Buffet appeared sparse at the time we visited early to mid afternoon Saturday. We saw patrons order from a printed menu as we were leaving and they appeared to be regular customers based on greetings and ordering. Printed menu has translations, so we may return to try again and also pick up some freezer squid to go.

My group had 5 people, so we had to wait a bit to get seated, but the staff was able to navigate that really well. The food was delicious! I got the Beef Chow Fun Ho, and for an appetizer, I got the roti and the curry. I would highly recommend both! The roti was flaky and soft- it paired so well with the curry. The beef chow fun was good as well, but it tastes better with this chili sauce (it could be it was seasoned just fine and my taste buds are dead from all the spice I eat). That sauce elevated the flavors even more. The prices were fairly priced for what you get, and I will say, though, if you come with a group of 5 or more, they will charge you a 20% tip automatically. I did not mind at all because the waitress we had was very attentive and checked up on us several times during our meal.

The noodle soup was a major letdown. When it arrived, I couldn't find a single speck of actual meat on the pork belly - it was literally 100% fat. I was in disbelief, I thought the meat fell off into the soup, there wasn't any inside. this was completely inedible, and I had to separate the pork belly on my plate. On top of that, there was absolutely no meat on the bone or any marrow inside the bone. It was literally just a bare bone thrown in with the noodles. Even the egg was overcooked and served whole, instead of being cut in half like it is pictured on the menu. Thankfully I ordered a second dish of protein. The Hainanese chicken was supposed to be the star of the show. While the initial bite with the yellow rice was decent, something felt off as I kept eating. It just didn't taste freshly cooked and lacked a real, natural chicken flavor. When the server asked how everything was, I pointed out the plate of separated fat and explained the issue with the pork belly. They were apologetic but "that's how it is." Overall, it was a very disappointing experience with lot of room for improvement.

The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. The food overall was tasty, flavorful, and served in generous portions. However, the menu situation was a major hassle. It's essentially a thick book with a separate price sheet, meaning you have to cross-reference dish codes just to see prices. To make matters worse, there were only two price sheets for 15 people. If they keep this system, every menu needs its own attached price sheet. As for the dishes, most were good, but the coconut rice fell flat--it was far too bland with almost no coconut flavor compared to versions I've had elsewhere. Service started strong with a seamless check-in and timely seating, but the ending was frustrating. Despite calling weeks in advance to confirm individual checks, staff insisted at the end of the meal that they could only split the bill five ways. After insisting on our original agreement, we all had to stand in a long line to check out individually at the register because they couldn't bring separate itemized bills to our table.
