    Bnh M Special

A pretty good option when at The Works food hall. The first thing you notice is one of the more popular Viet coffee (Cafe Du Monde) that's stacked all over the stall, even with a few giant phins (pretty dope IMO). They have quite an extensive menu - apps, various banh mi sandwiches, vermicelli and pho bowls. Opted for the usual Banh Mi Special (dac biet). The bread was 5/5 and had all the essentials (pickled carrots/daikon, cilantro, pate, cha lua). The sandwich itself is overpowered by the char siu though, way too sweet and tough to eat with its big pieces. The fried spring roll was solid, nothing amazing. Price was decent overall and food came out in good time and the service was well organized for the many people ordering and waiting. Seating at the actual stall is a plus, but of course you could have eaten it at the many seating areas at the food hall. Worth returning for sure and a good option overall.

    BBQ Pork Banh Mi

Ordered their BBQ pork banh mi and also got to try my friend's shrimp vermicelli bowl. Out of the two, I would certainly come back for the vermicelli since it was a hefty portion and tasted fresh, bright, and delicious. The sandwich wasn't bad but prefer the pork to be sliced as opposed to almost grounded. Something also seemed to be missing that would have elevated it further, maybe scallion oil or vietnamese pâté? Anyways, I would come again to try more from their menu!

This was my first time in years having Vietnamese food, and since I was at the Chattahoochee Food Work and Banh Mi Station looked tasty I figured I'd give it ago. Needless to say, I was really impressed! The station itself is small, but they make up for it by extremely pleasant (and quick!) service. The guy serving us happily helped my brother and I navigate the menu, and recommended a few of his favorite items. I wound up getting the Banh Mi Sandwich, while my brother got the Brisket Banh Mi. We shared the Imperial Egg Roll. Everything was great, and I was super impressed by the flavor and freshness of the ingredients in my Banh Mi. For a small shop their food really packs a punch!

At the Chattahoochee Food Works there was the Bahn MI Station and my husband is always chasing the perfect Bahn MI vegetarian sandwich...we had one back in Southern California, spicy, sweet, crunchy and soft...how...this was soft, crunchy and on a tasty scale of 1-10 about a 5. Mild not a lot of flavor to call out to you. Clean shop, fresh ingredients, polite shop keeper/restaurant folks. Perhaps I would try something else at the CFW before settling in here if you are looking for big flavor. Thank you for being polite and wonderful ingredients though ;)

Good...not great. The softshell crab bánh mì was a little heavy on the sauce, but the softshell crab itself, and the actual bánh mì bun were quite nice. Pork belly, bánh mì was good, but could've used a little bit more meat, cucumbers, etc. Both were salad, but neither was outstanding.

I'm pissed off. Wtf is this ? I waiting three hours for this. It's not the right order, the meat smells and the sandwich is dry.

    Pho Chicken and Vietnamese Coffee!

I will be making a point to always visit this spot when coming to Atlanta. While visiting from California, I had a craving for Vietnamese food. It was a rainy day, and I usually have my dad's homemade Pho. I got the chicken pho, and boy, did it hit the spot! Almost cried a little bit because it reminded me of my dad's pho, and my family back home. My boyfriend got the brisket Banh Mi, and it was incredibly tender. The ratio of veggies to meat was just right, and the bread was toasted to perfection. Huge props to the team here too, we came early and we got our food ASAP.

A perfect Bahn Mi. Order one or two to go as well. These travel well.

Banh Mi Station is the best Vietnamese food I have found in Atlanta, and yes, I often go to Buford Highway. I know what impresses me, and here it was the quality of the ingredients, the service, the price, and the taste. Bahn Mi Station at the Chattahoochee Food Works had all four! For lunch, I ordered the Beef Brisket Banh Mi. Amazingly good and a larger portion than I expected. I then went all in and ordered the lemon pepper Bahn Mi for dinner. This fresh and clean food did not disappoint. The staff is attentive and nice. The area was clean. In fact, as this store is within a food hall, it did something few others did; it was busy early for lunch. If you plan to visit for lunch or dinner, their Achilles Heel is parking. Arrive early. There is no valet. OMG, I am older and appreciate valet. You young fucks will, too, someday!

One of my to go stalls at the Works. I love the Vietnamese coffee and their Bánh Mis! My favorites are the brisket and The Special. Full of flavor, hint of heat due to the jalapeños, and loaded with goodness. The bread is always fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Perfect baguettes every single time!!!! Have not tried their Pho yet but will soon.

This pho is absolutely amazing! You definitely get your money's worth. I've tried this place twice and love it. The service is good and your belly will be full and satisfied.

Overall 3/5: Located in Chattahoochee Food Works, I visited Banh Mi Station. They specialize in Vietnamese cuisine including pho and banh mi. Food 3/5: I opted for a soup that day and went with their pho. The noodles were clumpy and kept breaking apart which made it difficult to eat. The broth was good, but it really was just the noodles for me, you could tell they were quality or fresh. The meat was pretty well portioned, I was pretty full at the end. I have yet to try their banh mi, so I will update once I do. I also got the spring rolls with shrimp which were pretty tasty. The sauce was good.

KILLER SERVICE! They are all so nice and sweet, very helpful- especially the guy at the register! Loved hanging out here and eating. Also their vermicelli noodles are delish! This was our first time in the area so he tried to couple of different foods but I've had for vermicelli noodles before and these are some of the best I've had. I did add a little hot sauce to them and I got the shrimp ones which came with some eggrolls as well. They also have other options including sandwiches and appetizers. They have delicious drinks as well. They have a cute sit down area in the front. The prices are reasonable. The menu is not large or extensive but it's definitely to the point and it's delicious whatever they make. I would tell you to definitely come here and check this place out if you're in the area. I'll be back and try their other stuff. Not only is there food good but I had a great time!!

So so not good. The pho broth only had soooo many cilantro and was not flavorful. The banh mi had red BBQ type of meat in it and was small.

When I walked in, I was impressed to see a Michelin-recommended sign posted at the entrance, which definitely made me curious to try something they were recognized for. I tried the vegetarian chive and egg bun appetizer, which was light and delicious if you are a fan of chives. Our table also ordered the fried potsticker dumplings--gets good and a must-try. The noodles were so fresh, and I loved that you can actually customize and pick your noodle size. It was also really cool that you can watch them make the noodles right through the window! The restaurant was clean, and we were able to be seated right away. There was a steady flow of people to include take out but it didn't feel overwhelmingly busy. The waitstaff was excellent and made sure we fully understood how the menu worked. Our food was delivered promptly and all at one time. While everything tasted great, I would have preferred the appetizers to come out first, as delivering it all together put a lot on the table at once. Overall, it's a frilly good , clean spot with great service, and I'd definitely recommend it!

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

A unique noodle dish with a cute origin story!…read more The story begins with a wife wanting to nourish her husband while he studied for the Imperial Exams on a little island. She made a rich golden chicken noodle soup and sealed in the flavor, heat, and aroma with a layer of chicken oil; and packed the other ingredients separately so that her husband could have a fresh meal as he studied. This dish and style of preparation/presentation eventually became known as Crossing-the-Bridge noodles and is categorized as an intangible cultural heritage for the region. Similar to hot pot, you're supposed to cook the individual ingredients in the hot broth when it all comes out; however, the pot isn't constantly cooking and it should all go in when it arrives at the table. The original broth is really flavorful, while remaining delicate and hearty, and all the various components go well together. The only thing is that the broth does cool down relatively quickly once you start putting in all the other ingredients, so some things weren't as hot as I would've liked. But, overall, I enjoyed my experience! Service was wonderful and there's always parking in this plaza.
