I had a disaster happen to my hair from another stylist, and I came to Kai asking for a total redo of my reddish brown hair color to an ashy blonde combo. Kai did a full Balayage + full color correction and 4.5 hours later, my hair had a total make over! I couldn't believe it! Kai definitely under promised and over delivered on his abilities. He told me his honest feedback on what he can do and can't do. He was very realistic on what to expect because I had originally dyed my own hair with box color from CVS (don't ever do that BTW) Because he was honest, I already went into the appointment having a good idea on how long it would take and what color to expect. Although Kai keep his promises realistic, he went above and beyond with his technique and did a bombastic job on my hair!!! I would highly recommend him to family and friends! I scheduled an appointment with Ellie, and I just had a feeling she knew exactly what to do with my hair with my little guidance: partial, even out tone, and have a balayage that complements my skin tone. She did just that. And in record breaking time of 2.5 hours? I'm usually at the salon for 3+ hours. I'm hypersensitive to smells, so it was really kind that they were able to provide me a mask. They also offered beverages, and I opted for green tea! Lastly one of the coolest things is when they're washing your hair they have a seat recliner so that your legs are relaxed ! I've only seen this in Asia so that was really awesome to have! They had a special for 15% off during the month of October so I was really lucky to receive a good price as well. I called the salon and the manager Sebastian was very apologetic and quick to help. Fadi then called me back and offered to correct the service for free if she wanted to give them another shot. Needless to say Fadi and his team went above and beyond to ensure she got exactly what she wanted the first time. It's a night and day difference. He was so kind and the smile on her face after he finished cutting and coloring her hair was worth it. I'm confident she will return to see Fadi. Maybe we chalk the bad first experience up to an off day or a miscommunication with the first stylist? Either way, hats off to Fadi and Sebastian for their service. I am someone who doesn't go to a salon often, so this was really special to me and I wanted my hair to look nice. Shana seems very well experienced, but when I told her how I would like my hair done she seemed frustrated (it was her first time working on my hair, I was not trying to offend her in any way, I just know my hair and how it works). I told her that my hair gets very frizzy and curls form after a day if I only blow dry, so I usually have to put a flat iron to my hair in order for it to stay put. Most of my appointment was quiet, she barely talked to me and she seemed very annoyed. When I told her about how my hair curls and gets frizzy, she snapped at me and said "i know how to do hair, i've been doing it for X amount of years". I stayed silent for the rest of my visit, paid, and left. The next day my curls returned (as I expected) and I felt like I paid that money for nothing. I would of loved the experience if she had listened to me, I was not trying to tell her how to do her job, but I knew it was her first time working on my hair and thought she would appreciate me letting her know how my hair works. The salon is beautiful and offers many services, but the attitudes there need to be a little better. I'm a hijabi and I liked this salon since it is hijab-friendly (one of the very few in my area), but I feel because of this experience it'll be so awkward if I go back to her.

The salon sent her serval friendly "reminder texts" days before the appointment. Just one hour before the actual appointment the salon cancelled on her. My wife was driving, on her way to the salon. She even arrived and asked if she could wait for the next stylist and they said they were totally booked. It looks like she either got bumped by another client or they can't manage the time and appointments. You can't run your business this way.
