I took my…read moreShiba pup to this vet about 11 years ago, and then switched vets because I moved further away. In June 2026, I was frantically calling vet offices after receiving an unforeseen and distressing diagnosis for my (then-senior) Shiba at the emergency VCA in Fountain Valley. The receptionist was very attentive and nice, and was able to get us seen straight away in the morning when they opened. Aside from the really great customer/patient service, the lobby was small, but very clean. The atmosphere isn't dreary, which I really appreciated at the time. We were seen by Dr. Acevedo, who was very professional and warm. I explained what was happening to my 11.5 year old boy--he was diagnosed with pericardial effusion, cardiac tamponade with ascites--and she explained very thoroughly what they were going to do that day. I did have to drop him off for most of the day and pick him up at the end of it, which I didn't love, but I understand it's because I was basically a very last-minute appointment, and the procedure they were going to do was a drain plus radiographs along with other tests. Unfortunately, as his symptoms progressed aggressively and Dr. Acevedo had results to talk about with me, she let me know over the phone that the prognosis was not good. I then went in, where she showed me the radiographs and gave me a detailed explanation of what she was seeing, and even compared my dog's x-ray to a healthy dog's x-ray to help me understand better what was happening. Dr. Acevedo was very sincere, she told me she's seen this several times before, and the outlook based on what she saw would mean my boy would be in a constant state of recovery. Eventually, I made the very painful decision to lay him to rest with an at-home service with a different practice the next week. Overall, Dr. Acevedo was incredible. Because his decline was so rapid, I was constantly blowing up the phone at her office asking about everything ranging from treatments, to what I should look out for so that I don't wait too long to lay him to rest. Every time, she was very informative and tried to help me with what I was going through with my best friend. Thank you to everyone at Lincoln Animal Hospital. When the time comes, I will be glad to bring my next pup back here. It's worth the drive.

First off thank you Dr. Ash for being informative and especially he always kind and treat animals with care and passion. He never recommend anything that's unnecessary and we - clients appreciate it so much! Neemo has been spayed here and did see Dr many times and been cured here many times. She has good experiences here as well as Ozzy ( though Ozzy is scared of everything, she managed to overcome her fear here so yk the staff are very gentle) If you're curious, prices here are affordable/ reasonable to me. Around our house, he's simply known as The Cat Whisperer. Somehow he has this magical "Dr. Ash method" that can calm even my most nervous, difficult cats. Cats that normally hide, hiss, or make everyone work for it seem to trust him. I still haven't figured out his secret! What really sets Dr. Ash apart is the time he gives every patient and every pet parent. He never makes you feel rushed. He explains blood work and treatment options in incredible detail, answers every question, and has even called me in the evening to personally discuss test results. That level of care and dedication is almost unheard of. I also want to recognize his amazing staff. Raquel, Andrea, and everyone at the clinic are always so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Whether they're drawing blood, collecting urine samples, trimming nails, or giving one of my cats a sanitary trim, they handle each cat with such compassion and professionalism. You can tell they truly love what they do. I've trusted Dr. Ash and his team with my cats for many years, and I wouldn't trust anyone more. They treat every one of my cats as if they were their own, and that means the world to me. And here's the highest compliment I can give him: if Dr. Ash ever moved to Timbuktu... I'd be pricing moving trucks the same day. That's how much I trust him. Thank you, Dr. Ash, Raquel, Andrea, and the entire team for the exceptional care you've given my furry family over the years. You are all simply the best.

Generally I am able to make appointments for them within 48 hours of needing to be seen which is good. However their hours and appointments might be limited sometimes so YMMV. Recently our older dog was having issues and we brought him in. Our first appointment did not go well as he was never seen, they told me to come back the next day which I did. We came back the following day and he was seen for his lack of appetite and urinary issues. In the past everything was fairly expensive but this time took the cake. It cost $700 for an exam, two lab tests and a small medication to increase his appetite for a few days. The worst part is, we did not get any diagnosis since they didn't find anything wrong. They also checked his ears which he is often scratching daily and they said were totally normal also. The next day he was worse so now we are forced to take him to an emergency room and pay double the cost, at a minimum. They also gave me about using our Carecredit card for the payment, which is in my wife's name, even though they know both of us and our dogs for the last two years. They also didn't give us any discount for the trouble of rescheduling on us or being a repeat customer. Imagine going to a mechanic for your car paying $700 and it's worse than when you brought it in? That is the situation as of not.

Haiku: A Acacia Animal Hospital…read more Takes care of my dog Staff sweet and professional Still curbside drop-off. --- My neighbor recommended me to Dr Adams at A Acacia Animal Hospital and I've been pretty happy with them. In the past year, I've had to bring my aging dog in several times for various issues. Usually, when something happens, I call for an appointment and they've been able to squeeze us in either that day or in the next couple of days. There have been times they've been fully booked and not able to immediately accommodate us and I respect that. One of our major visits last year was for my dog to get surgery and remove some skin tags from his body. He had to be sedated for a couple of hours. During that time, Dr. Adams did a fine job removing his skin masses and also did a deep teeth cleaning. Our pup came home and recovered well. The office even called the next day to check up on him. They are doing curbside meet and greet. Just park in a numbered spot and call the office upon arrival. Since they are still doing curbside drop-off, I've never been able to see inside the office and how Dr. Adams and the staff interact with my dog. For the most part, when Dr. Adams comes out to talk to me about how my pup is doing, he is professional, kind, and answers all my questions. The only downside is their billing and record-keeping system seem to be archaic. They haven't transferred to a digital system. It'd be much more convenient to receive printed receipts (vs handwritten receipts), an electronic log of his vaccinations (as well as a list of upcoming shots), and digital reminders of future appointments.

Despite knowing the reason for the appointment, Dr. Berka refused to refill his anxiety medication because she had not originally prescribed it. When I asked why, she responded in a very rude and dismissive tone, saying, "I didn't write the original prescription, so go back to that doctor and get it." There was no discussion about whether my dog still needed the medication, no alternative meds offered, and no attempt to help us find a solution. All she did was pout that we went elsewhere and that we order our meds on Chewy and not from her. What makes this even more frustrating is that the "other vet" was actually the veterinarian her own office sent us to when Dr. Berka was on vacation. The visit lasted approximately 5 minutes and all she did was look in his ears, yet I was charged $121 and left WITHOUT the medication we specifically scheduled the appointment for. Now I have to schedule and pay another $100 for another wellness exam at the "other" vet just to get my dog the medication he needs. Dr. Berka came across as rude and unprofessional and she didn't show any affection or gentleness towards my dog. She behaves like she doesn't like animals which is so odd! If you're looking for a veterinarian, I strongly recommend finding someone who doesn't get jealous and petty when you see another vet when she is on vacation. Very disappointing experience.

A hit and run that left her bleeding and crying uncontrollably. I didn't know what to do. We were devastated because we knew she was in horrible pain yet we only wanted Dr. Kavannaugh's professional opinion, so that's what we did. Thanks to Dr. K. Kavannaugh (and her entire office) working around the clock and refusing to let Bella be an amputee, she is today walking on 4s and without a limp or foot misplaced in her gait. I thought we were going to get a call that they didn't know what to do so they put her down because there were days that passed, she was boarded the their team and we couldn't go to visit. It was a little nerve-wracking for us not knowing what was going to happen. Again, Stanton Pet Hospital provided round the clock care and Dr. K was a miracle worker whom made great decisions about her health and ultimate immune system as she chose different yet equally essential medications pre and post op to safeguard her God forbid there was infection. She then titrated her medications and dosages and thankfully Bells doesn't require daily meds for either infection nor pain today. Her recovery process we couldn't do without them as it included weekly wound cleaning and dressing change. I NEVER recommended pet owners experimenting at home with a health issue that should require medical attention. because, even though I'm a professional, we aren't always when it comes to our own pets and children. We tend to act on emotion with our own. not logic when a decision for a loved one is involved. Also, I may be a neat freak and my home is very clean but remember it is NOT a sterile environment so never safe to practice in. Anyway , we had to board Bella pre-op as it was absolutely essential for her to have those professional hands and a sterile environment to avoid secondary infection and optimal healing. All of the office staff treat the same patient, gentle way and provide professionally sound advice for us pet owners Again, Thank you Dr. K and all employees from the bottom of our hearts. To the general public, try Stanton Pet Hospital. I know it is the right vet for you and look forward to hearing your experience. I also want to say to anyone who is negatively commenting to always first accentuate a positive. I know when dealing with loss it may seem impossible but perhaps your furry friend is in heaven and no longer in pain or perhaps they are enjoying meal missed prior because they were not eating. Grieving is unfortunately for the living, not the deceased and it's the ONLY scientific process, that doesn't have to occur chronologically. In other words, Denial, acceptance, bargaining, are examples of the parts of grieving process and though acceptance is the last one listed, it is often not the final step but often rather the first for some. Again, try to find one positive before having a field day with negative comments online. Get a journal to write down your thoughts in and be professional with reviews as you should always begin your review with a positive comment and then transition to the negative. A journal can help one personally especially if they need to release those negative thoughts. Don't bring your emotions to a professional online platform if you can't post a comment like an emotionally regulated adult. If you're grieving, hold on pain ends, just don't write a review publicly if you're still in that grieving process. Remember, Hurt people hurt people and this a professional business that are some dedicate everything to so reevaluate your mood while going publicly. Again. I'm sorry for anyone who has gone through the passing of & imagine the taxing job it is to have to inform family that their pet isn't going to be going home. Medical professionals can deem human/animal's quality of life is severely affected (appetitive, sleep, ambulatory, mood, etc.) that it's time to reevaluate how to get this pet comfortable as we can't have them living this low of an existence. It's not always the intended outcome; however, it would be selfish to keep a pet alive without existing in daily healthy life especially if it possibly cause a pubic health crisis. I can assure you that Dr. K is one of the least selfish i know. Stanton Pet Hospital has my trust. VCA has also been amazing after hours, truly around the clock 24/7 establishment; however, I truly can't can't leave Dr. K because of the dedication, service and trust I have in her. We wanted no one but her to care for Bella after she was hit by a car and could barely walk.
