I am writing this review on behalf of my sister regarding her experience with our family dog. Our dog was prescribed a medication that the clinic described as a long-term (lifelong) prescription. When the medication was about to run out, my sister contacted the clinic to request a refill. Instead of renewing the prescription, she was told they would not provide another refill unless our dog underwent a procedure costing a significant amount. My sister wasn't refusing the procedure--she simply wanted time to research it, understand why it was necessary, and make an informed decision before committing to such a significant expense. Despite this, the clinic refused to refill a medication they had previously said our dog needed to remain on long-term. It was extremely upsetting to feel that our dog's access to a necessary medication was being used as leverage to pressure my sister into agreeing to an expensive procedure before she had the opportunity to make an informed choice. No pet owner should be put in that position. Fortunately, my sister sought a second opinion from another veterinary clinic. They reviewed our dog's records and were able to provide the prescription refill immediately while discussing future treatment options without withholding medication. We encourage other pet owners to ask questions, seek second opinions when appropriate, and be aware of how treatment decisions and prescription refills are handled. Our experience left us feeling disappointed, disgusted, and concerned about the way this situation was managed. read more

They are the biggest scam liars I called twice and asked them how much an x-ray is. They said $95 and take my dog there and then give me a price of over $1000 claiming my dog needs blood work. My dog needs a border. Tell Shot my dog needs to be put under anesthesia. We have to do three x-rays. Everything came up to over 1000. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE and their staff doesn't give you any information beforehand or even after on surgeries, shots, etc. The doctor DR. KUMAR HIMSELF just disrespected me over the phone as I asked about why my dog is bleeding after being spayed. He belittled me and never notified me that my dog was in heat during surgery and said he should've charged me $100 more but didn't and said verbatim "I should've charged you $100, I can charge you now". I cannot believe a veterinarian (so called doctor) would speak to a patient or client this way. As a patient or client, we shouldn't have to look up everything on the internet because the vet decides to not give you any details or information so you HAVE to research yourself. I will NEVER recommend anyone's pets at this place. Save yourself time, money and stress and find a better care facility that will actually care about you and your pet and their overall wellbeing. read more

Vet is very good, pragmatic with solid care advice. I went in because dog had a lump on hind quarters, vet said use a home remedy for a week and see if that got rid of the lump and come in a week. The lump was gone, and I hadn't found that remedy online. Go see him and his team, vet techs are super friendly and good with animals. Reasonably priced too. read more

Don't go here. I recently took my cat who has been going in and out of the restroom for about a week. Took him in and doctor told me that there was nothing wrong with him but wanted to send me home with a $500 bill just in case he might he sick. I ended up paying for the $240 blood work only to tell me he has Covid. That's not even a symptom. This is my fault because I had this feeling that he was going to tell me that there was nothing wrong with my cat. I am never setting foot in this place again. My Dez has been a Patient here since he was 3 years old, and we hit a crisis now at age 12, and this office helped us get through it with ease. I have seen a few bad reviews on this place, and they do not make sense at all. Dr. Kumar took excellent care of my Dez he had a leg injury and needed surgery. Being in a fee for service business myslef (Dentistry), I understand when people feel like prices are too high, but that's just this economy. That is at no fault to the office providing a service. His care is a reflection of his work, not the prices. At the end of the day, no price is too large to save my fur baby from rainbow heaven for a few more years. Dr. Kumar was very informative about my dogs home care and patiently answered all my questions without hesitation. These negative reviews are wild, misleading, and 100% wrong. If you can not afford a service that is not the service providers fault. If you want experienced, excellent care for your pet I highly recommend ABC animal hospital. A side not to Dr. Kumar. Would give it zero stars if I could. Don't take your pet here if you love them. Dr. Kumar needs to retire and the office staff are horrible. I trusted him with my dog and she died 3 days after surgery!! My baby was recovering, then she suddenly started breathing heavy while just lying on my lap. It was after hours so I called the office number and non one picked up bi must have called 10 times and no recording. I went to the business because I know they have a kennel service. No other numbers on the door, no way to leave a message, and I even sent an email without a response. I tried a VCA hospital in Lakewood, but they told me they were not accepting a more animals that night. Things got real bad over the next few hours and so finally found a place that would take my dog. She was struggling with her breathing and died in my wife's arms on the was. Totally unavoidable. I paid $1500 for Dr. Kumar to kill my dog. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Don't go here! Dr. Kumar is horrible and so disrespectful! He yelled at us saying we were too late when we followed all his instructions. He was yelling at us like he knew he was guilty. I just wanted to ask a question about what can we do, but he cut me off and said, " I do not want to hear it." He started talking about his personal life story and how long he went to school. He disregarded my sick dog to talk about himself. We came here for a service and because he is a professional, we wanted help. He basically verbally attacked us that we were horrible owners! We went all his follow-ups and saw him for 3 weeks! Avoid this place at all cause! They overcharge and will not educate you on what they did to your pet. Dr. Kumar and his staff really took care of my dog and my family when she got bitten by another dog within our household. My dog was limping and wincing in pain, it was late - I called out of desperation and they answered. Dr. Kumar and his vet tech Ashley met with my dog, treated her with so much gentleness and love and sent us on our way after a couple injections. Her condition improved significantly within a day. She is normally so terrified at vet hospitals but his gentle personality really helped to soothe her and it gave me so much peace of mind! Dr. Kumar is an extremely selfless veterinarian, his heart for animals shines through in all of his actions. The groomer does a great job, boarding is wonderful and the Dr. was amazing and caring for my dog when she had issues with her teeth and gums and she was well taken care of while boarding and when my dog was spayed. First of all we went in for an examination on rash on my puppy testicles. But ended up getting few shots and left. Dr kumar tried to charge my mom for an examine fee of $60 which he didn't even do. He didn't even touch my puppy nor even looked at him. I asked him why he charge for the examine fee so he tried to justified himself with his years of expertise and argued with me longer than he examine my puppy. Definitely never coming back to this place and take my puppy else where they will actually test and examine what is wrong with the pets. If I were you I would NOT come to this place and your pet will thank you. This place only wants your money not take care of your pet. I wish I could do 0. OVERPRICED! Unhelpful and uncaring. My kitty was sick and we called around to 4 places and finally came upon this place. Payed almost $500 and was told the blood work would come back the next day. 3 days later. I call and they say it will be in the next day. I ask for an invoice (to see what the hell my $500 was paying for) as no one had offered me one because they basically hurried us out after handing us back our drugged up cat. Long story short did research and paid almost double market average for the 5 services. 1 blood work, 3 shots, and 1 at home medicine. Plus visit. When looking up the injections, I just wish communication before him being treated was better to know what was given to him. Find out he has kitty Covid and the doctors said we needed to come back for weekly treatment and injections for 3 months $50 for the shots and still the $60 visit fee. Or he is going to get worse... cut to me checking CDC guidelines saying to treat a pet like a human with Covid... my cat has mild symptom now knowing what he has.... Obviously going to keep an eye on him but I am not going to spend another $500-$1000 for you to do nothing to help my baby. Go somewhere else!! Anywhere else. read more

I brought my pooch stable , just to check the hind legs coz he was having a hard time standing up ,, they asked to leave my baby and they injected penicillin, dexamethasone, furosemide and fluid administration ,and did blood works plus radiograph , asked to pick him up at 6 pm, my baby was so weak when we got in the car and home and he expired right away ,,so whatever he did didn't help instead made the case worst ,, diagnosis "enlargement of the heart"treatment was not right ,should not administered any fluids ,, he killed my pooch ! read more
