I can't say enough amazing things about this groomer! They always do an incredible job with my 11-year-old husky, who has a LOT of fur and can definitely be a brat at times. They're always so kind, warm, and welcoming every time we come in, and it truly shows how much they care about their doggy clients. I think I've found my furever groomer for bagel! I've been to a couple of groomers out here in orange county, and I will have to say the doggy styling team really made me feel reassured about leaving my baby there. Because it was his first time they asked that I bring him in at nine am so that he could get acquainted with them and so that he would not be anxious about the grooming. I've never heard of another groomer that has done this, and I really appreciated the fact that they tried to make my nervous and skittish dog feel at peace with his grooming! Upon walking in I just felt like the place had a different vibe than all the other pet grooming places I've been to in OC, you can just tell that the team here loves what they do and are very knowledgeable. They make you feel welcomed like part of their family. The mother spoke to me before handing over bagel asking what length I wanted and all the usual grooming questions, I told her about how at previous grooming bagel has come back with a reaction usually on his belly because of nicks or razor burns. And upon picking up bagel she had kept that in mind and showed me that bagel had no reaction after his grooming which made me feel heard & assured. They also told me about his behavior and I like that they don't sugar coat it haha they said he was stubborn which I'm glad they did because it gives me some perspective and maybe in the next few grooming he'll be a little less stubborn as he gets better acquainted and groomed more often. I usually get him groomed 2-3x a year because of how hard it's been to find a reliable groomer in CA that I can feel at ease with, but not anymore ! I've already booked my next appointment with them!! My dog also usually hates getting his nails cut and this is the perfect place for him because the team here uses a Dremel instead of nail clippers. They even told me about any matting they found in his paw and under his pits and told me to comb there more often, which is a very useful piece of information and something I'll do more diligently going forward. They also sent him home with a little goodie bag of treats, and because it was almost Valentine's Day they sent him home with a Valentine's Day card for me, which I just thought was the cherry on top of the cake. You can really tell that the team here really loves their job & animals in general and really take their time with each dog I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends ! TIP: Get the $42 deal and leave a generous tip! $42 is a fair and you really get what you pay for. The cuts they do on my little shiztsu poodle lasts a long time and looks great even after a month! They remember all the dogs that come in even if it's been months since you've taken them there. I just want to say that Jan and her crew, at Doggy Stylin', are the best groomers I've ever used. They were gentle and compassionate with my senior dog, who needed some breaks during the grooming and took a little time. They were (and are) very helpful with suggestions regarding care for my dog. My dog came out looking cute, and her hair was cut as requested every time. I was so pleased with the service and compassion that they provided at Doggy Stylin'. I've been taking my sweet Tofu to Jan and her daughter for about 2-3 years now. This is the only grooming place where I completely trust them - they treat Tofu like family. My Tofu is a little brat when it comes to clipping his nails - he injured his paw in the past and doesn't let anyone near them much less clip his nails. We have been to countless groomers and vets who gave up on him because he gets so aggressive. I warned Jan that he is very sensitive with his paws but she works her magic! Even though he is still a brat about clipping his nails his behavior has improved so much. Jan and her daughter definitely take their time with Tofu - when he gets antsy I know he is placed back in the kennel to calm down a bit before they try again. Tofu always comes out so handsome and cute. I admit we try to give him haircuts at home and Jan always fixes our mistakes and makes him look awesome. I'm really happy with the service I receive here. This place is walking distance from my house so it's a nice exercise day when I can take my two dogs here to get their nails trimmed. I have two short haired dogs so I don't need much grooming but I've grown to appreciate taking them elsewhere to get their nails trimmed. They are friendly, quick, and always provide extra services you won't find at places like PetsMart. They cut the nails, smooth them out with a grinder, clip their paw hair, and brush them if needed. We called and apparently they forgot we had an appointment and wanted to reschedule and it would be free of charge. I left upset and we looked up another groomers and came across Doggie Stylin Grooming. We walked in and hoped they had an opening but sadly they did not. However, Jan was so kind. She let us know they were booked but that they had an opening Saturday. She explained that Cooper (our 5 month puppy) was still young and should get just a trim and not a haircut because he was still growing his adult fur. She also offered to trim his face really quick because it was so long it was going to poke his eyes, and by the way she trimmed his face, I knew he was going to be in good hands. She also gave Cooper some treats and she also gave us a cute little Valentine's gift from Cooper, to us. I cannot wait to bring Cooper back so I can write a review on their actual service. I cannot thank these ladies and their team enough .. they work miracles on my 150lb husky/malamute (popo). He was out of town for almost a year and wasn't groomed. I brought him in very dirty , matted in many areas ..just in horrible shape. When I called them, they remembered him and knew it was going to take hours to groom him. They took their time and did it right . 6 hours later, we came to pick him up and he was very energetic and looked very happy. Smells beautiful, looks beautiful , hair is so soft, ears cleaned, trimmed from head to toe . As an owner, you know if your dog has been mistreated by his behavior and not once has popo ever shown bad behavior . Sometimes he is more excited in their facility then he is at home lol. This team are truly dog whisperers. They care about your dogs well being and cater to their needs when they are being groomed. If you habe a dog you think no one can handle.. trust me.. this is the place to go. They really know their breeds and use healthy products on your dog. They share their knowledge with you if you have ANY questions so you and your dog walk out with confidence. First off, THANK YOU SO MUCH for being so patient with my senior dog, Ellie. Before coming to Doggie Stylin Grooming, Ellie hasn't been groomed in months because she had a really big surgery. Her fur was really matted and I didn't want her to to to her previous groomer because the last time she went (early 2021), she came home trembling and hiding in the house. I'm so glad I came here because Ellie came home happy and super clean! She's back to her usual self, which makes me really happy to see. Ellie is NOT an easy dog to handle during grooming, so I'm grateful she was well taken care of here! After combing through numerous grooming places on Yelp, I finally found one that I felt was worth a try. After bringing my baby Nacho to the vet, it was time for him to get his first grooming experience! The place is very small, parking lot with probably 6 car spots but there is plenty of street parking available. Upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by Jan the owner and her daughter. I did not make an appointment but she said they could definitely fit my little guy in. I inquired about how much the service would be, what it entailed and if it was okay for me to provide my own medicated shampoo. Jan told me the grooming service was $30 which included a bath, teeth cleaning, nail clipping/trimming, ear cleaning and anal glands (WHAT A STEAL?) and it was perfectly fine to provide my own shampoo. After about 40 minutes I received a phone call letting me know he was all ready to get picked up. Upon picking him up, they did let me know that he did not very much like to the cleaning and recommended some ear drops to use since they were quite dirty (he likes to play in the dirt and was suffering also from some inflammation due to his allergies). Before handing him over to me as well, they gave me a wonderful tote bag with goodies for my baby. I really appreciated that and he seemed very comfortable with them as well. After grabbing a business card for my own personal reference, I noticed on there that they also provide pick up and delivery services as well (SCORE!). They also only take cash here. My dog...well, she's a bit of a biter. Doesn't take well to people touching her paws, let alone her nails. I started taking her here when she was a puppy and they always do a good job of handling aggressive/scared animals. I always come in as a walk-in, they always accommodate me, and get the job done super quick! If my dog starts to get bitey, they are pros at putting a muzzle on her in order to continue with the job. Every once in a while they do cut my dog's nails too far, but most of the time it's because she ends up moving and jerking her leg while they are trying to work. When they do, they have styptic powder on hand to remedy the situation. I guess my only complaint is that they can be too nice. Example, at the end of the nail trim, they always put some sort of seasonal bandana or lace around my dog. Which is fine, but not necessarily. However, my dog does enjoy and appreciate the treat they give her when she's done. read more

My credentials on dog groomers: I have been to a couple of different dog groomers before but I would not say I am an expert but I know what I like for my dogs and I definitely like this place and recommend it to anyone and everyone. When I called this morning, my call was answered instantly and my questions were answered to my liking. I came here to get my 2 dogs nails trimmed. Everyone working was so nice and friendly. They even asked for my dogs names even though we were just stopping by for a quick nail trimming. They were able to trim both my dogs nails right when I walked in,quickly and efficiently. I just waited there and it was hardly even a wait. My dogs came out with little Halloween bandanas tied around their necks and dog treats in little Halloween ziplock bags. I loved that they follow a Halloween theme, other groomers just tie an uncomfortable bow on your dog (that the dog wants to rip off after) but a Halloween theme bandana is so much cuter and comfortable for my dogs they haven't even noticed the bandanas are on. Also I was so excited and happy to see that my dogs got bandanas even though they only trimmed their feet! I checked my dogs toes after and they were trimmed to my liking a job well done.
