Without a doubt, Sean knows his critters. This is the second time we used him to get rid of skunks that like to eat our hillside plants. I saw different animals in my ring camera, raccoons, skunks, stray cats, oppossums walking down my lawn. I checked all possible hiding spots, and I saw there was a broken crawlspace screen where my water pipes under the house are connected to our water heater. I know i need a company to fix it asap. I called a lot of companies. But Wow.. with this company, i was really amazed by their outstanding service. Easy to make an appointment with them and they were very prompt in answering my emails. They did not remove the old screens that are still intact, but added white vents to hide them from the critters. For the old damaged screens, they patched it up, applied new screens then new screens the vents. They crawled under the house to make sure there are no animals before they seal everything up and disinfected. And they even applied new cement next to the newly installed crawlspace door to even out the surface. And lastly, after everything was done, they fee was very affordable, worth every dollar! I called this company and Logan came out to repair a cover for my crawl space that was damaged by a bear. The cover that he constructed looks pretty solid so here's hoping that the bear won't tear up this one. He charged exactly what they quoted me and it was reasonable. UPDATE: I paid $1,000 to this company for trapping and removing 7 animals (4 skunks, 2 possums, and 1 raccoon) from my yard. While the technician was friendly and the traps worked, I was led to believe this would resolve the problem "for at least a year." It did not. Once the traps were removed, the animals came back digging under the fence and into the backyard the very next day. I've since spent even more money on "Dig Defence" barriers -- but the issue persists because the animals simply dig around them or enter from the front fence area, which has no barrier. It now seems clear that trapping alone was never going to solve the root issue. Despite describing my issue clearly and in great detail, I was never told the area needed proper sealing or exclusion work to permanently resolve the issue, and no effort was made to identify all access points or close all access points. I'm feeling like I was charged a lot for a short-term fix, when the problem was always going to continue unless fully sealed. If I was able to come to this conclusion without years of experience in wild life control, surely Accurate Wildlife Control knew this yet continued to silently recover over $100 for each animal caught every two days. Sadly, I now suspect the constant trapping model economically benefits from never fully solving the problem -- which will feel a bit unfair to homeowners completely trusting in your expertise. I'm asking that you either refund part of the cost or return and properly seal all entry points as a good-faith resolution. I'll happily update or remove this review if that happens. It may not feel warranted but mesh wire is $15, which is 1.5% of the amount I ended up paying as a first time client. Please do the right thing and stand behind the integrity and resolve of your work. While I had given Accurate Wild Life a 5 star review and was going to continue to use there ancillary services, upon becoming more knowledgeable of wild life control and for there aforementioned misleading mentioned above, it was actually not a 5-star service honestly you could have done better at permanently resolving this come to think of it... read more

First of all, this review is long overdue. In the spring of 2024, I had a racoon that had been accidentally trapped in the attic (note: not by this establishment) and made a lot of damage while trying to escape. The part of the attic where I heard the noise was very difficult to access, but Sean went ahead and crawled to check if there were any racoon babies there. As it turned out, there was none; but I was very impressed by Sean's willingness to confirm it by undertaking the difficult work (afterwards, I made a new entry to that part of the attic to make it easier for other people to access it in the future). Sean then put a trap around the bush near the corner of the house where the racoon had escaped (which it did so by prying open the wire mesh of the attic ventilation under the eaves). The racoon was caught in the trap the following morning! Fast forward, for days last week I smelled serious skunk smell under my deck. Sean came and caught four skunks! Today, a Labor Day holiday, was no obstacle to receiving professional & caring service from Sean & Javier of Rodent Detective Service! Sean was quickly responsive to my call & Javier was able to show up an hour earlier than expected. Upon awakening I knew an animal died under my house based on the odor in my house. I was saddened by this but also knew the animal had to be removed quickly as I was rapidly overwhelmed by its decay in the heat. After the job was done faster than expected, Javier described other areas under the house which needed tending to due to animal damages. There was no hard sales pitch. Just honest, professional business practices from both men and *very reasonable pricing*. Being an animal lover, I expressed my sorrow to Javier about this incident.
