I have been ordering Doggo food and treats from Animal Crackers for about a year now. I enjoy the pleasant and welcoming environment provided by the employees. If I have a question or concern, they are quick to answer and provide recommendations. They have the best selection of dog food and treats(Orijen, Acana etc). The frequent doggies sniffing around the store and being groomed is an added bonus. TIP: call them in the early morning and give them your address. If you're within their delivery route area...you can do same day delivery if you call before a certain time! My favorite thing about this establishment is the great customer service...as well as the 'conveniency' factor they provide. I call in the AM to place my order, and I receive it in the afternoon. Same day! I don't have to dread Miami traffic after work OR the pain of finding a parking spot(and paying for it!) in Downtown Miami. So glad I found this place! My dog is typically terrified of the groomers due to a horrible experience 6 years ago at another groomer. I always make sure to tell new groomers that he gets very nervous and will nip groomers so I want to make sure they are patient and will take their time. JJ made me feel comfortable and told me not to worry, they have a lot of experience with "challenging" dogs. And he was right. Grooming took 3 hours and Yoshi came out looking great! I could tell from the moment we checked in that they knew what they were doing and that Bo was in good hands. I dropped him off around 11 and was initially given a wait time of "no more than 2 hours" but he wasn't done until around 4. Since it was his first time at the groomers and he's a really fluffy dog, I expected the longer wait and have no complaints about that. They even offered for me to bring her back if she needed additional trimming in any way. They are however always booked, so you might want to book in advance. My pup and I have been loyal customers here for over a year now and I wouldn't entrust my baby to anyone else. Giavonna bites her nails (weird I know) leaving them uneven, crooked, and often sharp. Additionally she sheds way more than a canine her size should and she absolute hates the groomer. Somehow she comes how looking like a million dollar pup each time AND Animal Crackers manages to make the experience simple and stress free for the both of us. I usually call to make sure they can fit her in the schedule. I walk in (stand behind the little doggie gate bc COVID) hand off the pup and I'm on way. Pickup is much the same. PLUS (non-negotiable for myself) they won't cage your dog if they play well with others and in general they treat your pets like their own. 10/10 read more

We stopped coming to this place after getting a call from the owner who basically yelled at us about how difficult it is to do our dog's hair, and then later when we arrived at the store, we were suggested that we shouldn't go back. We took our Havanese here for over half a year, every 2 weeks for a bath and every 6 weeks for a trim, because we tried to grow our dog's hair out. Our dog gets matted easily, so we understand that it sometimes is difficult dematting the dog. But we came here for about half a year without problem until the very recent experience. The staff told us that we need to pay more this time, and then told us quote "if I were you, I wouldn't bring the dog back". Judging from how we were treated over the phone, I couldn't help but wonder whether our dog is treated even worse during his stay. read more

They abused my dog. I have a sweet and active Frenchie that is never scared of anything, always friendly and upbeat, and in her 3 years of life has never cried (only if she has fomo and wants to join me in my bed). When I picked her up at Animal Crackers, my dog was panting, shaking, her ears were pulled back, and she was not the same... I went down to pick her up like a baby from under the shoulders and she SCREAMED crying. A cry I've never ever heard before from any dog. It was so scary. I asked "omg what happened!?" And they acted as if everything was fine. Their response was "oh she's happy to see you" ummm.. what? My dog is screaming crying panting scared to death and their thoughts were "she's happy to see you, or she needs some water". I took her to the emergency and she was so terrified of everyone. She hid under the cabinet. The vet said she got severely hit on her hips/glutes. Could be that they dropped something very heavy on her. I know they will never be honest about what goes on back there but I got a chance to see where the dogs hang out and they are all open in a room. Divided by a small divider is a Rottweiler. The guy at the front said to be careful with him because he can be vicious ... again UMMM WHAT?! Don't leave your dog there if your dog is an active playful dog. My gut tells me they kicked her for wanting to play because they got annoyed of her. My pup is extremely distraught and traumatized. I don't want any of your babies to go through what I just experienced. So so sad. read more

I must admit that I lucked out finding this place. I drove all the way from the northeast of the county, passed many other animal specialty stores to get my Chinchilla Persian (long hair) cat groomed and I was not disappointed. The service, attention and certainly professionalism was as I expected, class "A". My cat is a bit over a year old and really long haired. This was her first full grooming so I was a bit edgy. My wife was very hesitant to have her "baby" cut in any way, shape or form. So after some convincing and lots of litigation, she agreed. To be honest, I was a bit nervous because if the cut came out bad, I would never hear the end of it. However and to my pleasure, the groomer did a wonderful job. I came with an idea, a few pictures and my cat turned out so beautiful. Thank you guys for such a great job! I will certainly bring my "Little-Pooh" back again for another cut. These people hurt my precious puppy which ended up in the vet with a sprained leg.They refused to provide camera footage and owner reacted in the same defensive/attitude, "boisterous" manner (as the company partner described him on a previous post,in a lame attempt to somehow justify unprofessional behavior,to an equally disgruntled customer) it has been described here below by other reviewers.The vet explained the injury and now he has to recuperate for an entire week. This review is LONG overdue, so I am sorry in advance to you amazing people at Animal Crackers...you deserve better! I absolutely love the entire team here -- they do an incredible job with my 8-year old trouble maker named Buddy. Buddy really loves it here too, and I find it hard to pick him up when he doesn't want to leave all of his new friends and caregivers :) So cute! Most importantly, the groomers at Animal Crackers are excellent. Sometimes it can be hard to communicate exactly what you want your dog to look like, but these talented people nail it everytime. Buddy's last haircut was especially perfect, as I asked for his coat to be super short for the hot summer. JJ made sure we were on the same page about exactly how short, and Buddy was even cuter than I could have ever imagined. They did such an amazing job with him. Overall, I just really love this place -- the owners, the staff, everyone I've ever encountered goes above and beyond to make pets feel welcome, and leave looking faaaaaaabulous. I just picked my dog -a bishon frise- he was given the worst haircut in the 12 years he has been with me.. Evidently the groomer was either in training or cannot tell a breed from another. The cut was so bad that it looks as if had a chin!! Bad quality control. Bad attitude when I let them know there was a problem. I specifically requested a conversation with the groomer when the dog was picked up, that didn't happen. Then I was informed that there is a card with the history of each dog's services so there was no need to call.
