    Irene, being neat.

MONEY HUNGRY, RUDE, AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE IN THEIR WORST MOMENTS. They let my puppy die because we couldn't pay them. $1400. My 14 week puppy, Irene, was sleeping with me and all of a sudden became lethargic. we rushed her up there and called in so they could come put and get her. they said she was in a bad condition and in a coma. they told me that the initial 'exam' was $140, and all other services would have to be paid up front, or they would just have to let her die. we tired everything, borrowing $, opening up a new line of credit, applying for a grant. they wouldn't do anything because we could not pay the $800 for her bloodwork and IV fluids. i asked them what else i should do because they were willing to to just let her die, and some lady suggested we turn her over to a rescue so maybe THEY could pay them to help my pet. These people do NOT. care about your pets, your family members, your best friends. all they care about is making sure they get your $ first, up front. we ended up having to just put her down, of course they wouldn't let us be with her because THAT was extra. watching my best friend die was extra. these people are horrible. how could you be in the business of HELPING. ANIMALS. but refuse to do anything till you hack up your next month's rent. they could give a shit less. probably have a monopoly on the service since they are the only ones around. DO. BETTER. i will miss my Irene for the rest of my life and mourn her happy dance forever.

The front desk staff, the techs, and Dr. Trickel were all amazing and compassionate and treated my bunnies with the utmost care. One of my quad needed a molar trim. If I absolutely had to say one negative thing is that the wait time was a little long But that said it is a hospital and they take emergency patients so I can say if I have an emergency I would want them to take my baby right away. If you don't want to take a chance that you may have a wait time due to an emergency that may come in then you may want to seek more of a clinic type vets office. Thank you Hawthorne and Dr. Trickel

Despite the urgency of the situation, this clinic repeatedly delayed filling critical, life-sustaining prescriptions, leaving us waiting for days just to get a response to our refill requests. When you are watching a sick animal suffer, every hour counts, yet our pleas for updates went ignored. When I requested immediate answers and attempted to hold them accountable for these dangerous administrative failures, the staff chose to deflect blame rather than fix their mistake. They accused me of being "verbally abusive" simply because I was being firm, urgent, and demanding transparency regarding my dying dog's medication. Advocating fiercely for a terminally ill pet who cannot speak for themselves is not abuse--it is a response to severe negligence. Medical delays and massive counting errors (when they finally filled one of the medications, they shorted us an entire 25 days' worth of pills) are entirely unacceptable when dealing with end-of-life care. I cannot trust a clinic that handles critical prescriptions so carelessly and treats grieving, desperate pet owners with such defensiveness.

Dr. Craig is always attentive and quite obviously cares about every animal he sees. He is also good about discussing options for care, keeping budgets and animal comfort in mind, and explains what's happening with a procedure very thoroughly. Even the unfortunate euthanasia of a pet is eased. One of my rats needed to be put down around Christmas time. About a week after I receive a condolence card signed by all of the staff. About two weeks after that I received a card saying that the clinic donated a tree in a national forest in honor of my rat. This vets office truly goes above and beyond of your pets and I can not recommend them enough.

I was given a different doctor than my normal and she was rude, making judgements and not hiding her irritation. I went in a for my puppy's yearly exam only to be told he'd need $2000 in surgery. When I told her I'd need to talk it over with my husband before scheduling she started to tell me about how he's too young to die and trying to scare me into the procedure. I didn't appreciate it. I wasn't turning down doing the surgery, I was wanting to do more research on what he's dealing with and when to schedule the surgery. I would never spend that money without talking it over with my husband. I called later asking to do an antibiotic since she told me it was an infection he had. I was then told it was not an infection but a disease and then other issues that were in his notes that she didn't tell me about. I don't trust them and feel like they were trying to make money off of me versus what is best for my puppy. That being said I am getting a second opinion and going from there. I will not give this office any more money or time and recommend others avoid it.

They made bad recommendations with my pet chinchilla and after a physical examination claimed he didn't have kidney stones. Unfortunately Lenny did pass away from a kidney stone. We gave him surgery somewhere else who used x-rays and actual medical equipment but it was too late because we were waiting on the UTI medications to kick in. I even warned the "doctor" that UTI medicine doesn't help kidney stones. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept using their service for our dog. We went in for a nail trimming for our dog today. The dog panicked and required muzzle and some wrestling. The dog proceeded to foam out of the mouth and choking up blood. She may have bit her tongue, but they didn't even examine it. They sent me home with the dog puking up blood on me, dry heaving, hyperventilating, and choking. I was a little concerned so I called to address my concerns by calling to bring the dog back. Emma was furious because they were near closing. So I said "I guess I'll take my dog home to puke all over herself". She responded with "I don't have to take that crap from anyone". I responded that " I was genuinely concerned and wasn't being rude".
