Rigby, our two year old Golden torn his CCL (Cranial Cruciate Ligament) and had to have it repaired. Thank you, Dr. W. Cook.

Rigby, our two year old Golden Retriever accidentally tore his CCL (Cranial Cruciate Ligament) and needed medical attention. We were told Dr. Wesley Cook would be able to help Rigby by Westbury's VCA in Summerville. We made an appointment for a consultation we were met Dr. Wesley Cook who insured us that he would be able to help Rigby. Dr. Cook performed the surgery and now Rigby is on a slow road to recovery. Thank you to Dr. Cook and his staff for the care Rigby received.

This vet office has seen us through a long, ongoing process with our dog's chronic eye issues, and we cannot praise them enough. Both Dr Fischer and Dr Cook are not just skilled at what they do, they're truly wonderful caring people. They explain things to you in a way you can understand, and they treat each client like they are too priority. All of the staff are that way, from the techs to the receptionists, and my boy Roscoe just eats up all the attention! I only wish they were closer to west Ashley and that they were a full veterinary office instead of just ophthalmologists. :)

A picture of Berkeley. Thank you Dr. cook and staff for caring for him

My dog Berkeley is very special and dear to my heart. When he went completely blind almost overnight, I was so worried and made an appointment here with Dr. Cook. I was so impressed with how Berkeley was treated by the staff. Dr. Cook did a great job examining his eyes and took her time with him with such compassion. She must have spent at least 30-40 minutes talking to us and explaining every little detail. She made it very easy to understand what could be going on with Berkeley and that it might be a brain tumor. The Vet Tech (I forgot her name) that was also caring for Berkeley, was SO sweet and gentle with Berkeley. I want to thank her for being so kind and caring. We were referred to see a Neurologist for further opinions and tests. P.S, It gave me such a piece of mind knowing he was getting the best care and exam possible. I thought that the price I had to pay for the visit plus exam was very reasonable. Thank you Dr. cook and staff!

Charleston Animal Society actually recommended it and have partnered with local vets to offer a free first appointment to get a second opinion on the health of your new best friend. I was thrilled to see Simply Spay and Neuter as one of the options. After completing the adoption process, I made an appointment to come in. I was surprised to see a new Dr come in for our appointment. I was always such a fan of Dr McTavish that I was a bit skeptical at first and asked if she was available. I was informed that she's only in the office a couple times a week these days and mostly for surgeries. It turns out Dr Clarke and Foye are purchasing the office and they are currently in a transition phase. I have to say that by the end of Finley's appointment my skepticism had gone out the window. Dr Clarke left me with an assured feeling that my pups would continue to get the best and affordable care in the area that I've come to love from SS&N. It's good to see that even if Dr McTavish is on the way out, that the culture of what made this office so great will continue to stay. It also seems that they will be making improvements to offer new products and procedures as they'll be converting into a full veterinary hospital. I'm looking forward to developing a new relationship with Dr Clarke (and Dr Foye) in the future!

She treats both you and your pet with genuine compassion, patience, and respect. You're never made to feel like just another appointment or a number; she takes her time, listens, and makes sure you understand every step of your pet's care all while valuing your opinion. What stands out most is how she sees animals for what they are -- living, feeling beings who deserve kindness and dignity. That level of care is rare, and it's exactly why my family and I trust her completely with our pets. My family and I actually drive all the way from North Mount Pleasant just to bring our pets to her and her team -- that alone should speak volumes about the level of trust and confidence we have in her care. And her team? Absolutely incredible, 10/10. Her techs are just as kind, competent, attentive, and dedicated. They go above and beyond to make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. It's not easy to find a veterinary team that blends skill, compassion, and integrity so seamlessly, but Dr. Kahuda and her staff truly do. I am beyond grateful to have found them, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets.

My fiance and I are both students, so cost and transparency was certainly important to us in choosing a vet. However, I was also looking for a empathetic stress free environment for both my stray cat and myself, as I had never owned a cat before. From the initial form, allowing me to outline our story in advance, our appointment felt so individualized. Sarah R. , our fantastic Vet Tech, had read our case and was called in specially to see Princess because of her experience with strays. She was calm and effective, and I was shocked to see her petting Princess less than 30 seconds after opening her carrier (I had not yet attempted this). She was personable, telling us about her own fur babies, but I also felt she was very thorough in collecting history and let me ask lots of questions. In addition to Sarah's excellence, Dr. Morgan Mcpheeter was calm, efficient, and knowledgeable. I am not a "review" person but for the person out there wondering if they should invest in a Vet Relationship instead of a neuter/spay service, I think Charleston Harbor is everything they've advertised and more (rare in Chs).

We have the best dog ever, Coco, a 12-year-old mixed breed who is normally perky and peppy as a puppy! We knew something was very wrong when over the course of about two hours she went from behaving normally to walking with a stiff, uncomfortable gait, panting and suffering what looked like severe pain and distress. I called the veterinary emergency line and they said to bring her in right away. On arrival and check in, we waited only about five minutes before being shown to the back where the doctor on call sat on the floor and kindly and gently and lovingly examined our poor distressed little pup. After closer examination, we were told that though unsure of the actual cause, Coco was in extreme gastrointestinal distress and the surgeon would have to be called. The doctor on call assured us that they would take the best care they of coco and let us give her pets and kisses before we left her for the rest of the night to undergo exploratory surgery. Dr. Binuchi the surgeon, assured us on arrival that he would do everything he could and would call us with an update. We heard from him about two hours later with the best possible news, that he had identified the problem and due to our quick reaction and theirs, was able to remove our dogs ruptured gallbladder in time to save her. In the 24 hours post surgery/recovery, I have received phone calls from Dr. Binuchi, the overnight doctor, a nursing staff member and my vet who was alerted to the surgery. All of them were just incredibly supportive and so proactive with updates, which couldn't have been more appreciated. We were allowed to visit this morning and no one batted an eyelash, we were welcomed into the back with smiles. We saw Coco comfortable in a large enclosure with nice blankets and a window to look out of that she seemed to love. Truly, I cannot imagine our dog being better cared for in her and our time of need! Thank you to everyone who helped Coco!
