We've met other patients there who have come from Milwaukee, Monroe, and other distant cities in WI and IL. Tyler is an amazing healer! He and his staff are top notch. The adjusting drop table he uses means that adjustments are comfortable yet highly effective. Patients are not asked to put on a hospital gown or worked on for 5 minutes maximum then told they need to come back every 2 days like most chiropractors. Tyler works with patients so that they feel better, sometimes amazingly better(!) before they go home from their adjustment. Tyler doesn't use the machines that other chiropractors insist you need and charge a high fee for. His treatments have brought relief for me when I was in agony. I can't say enough about what a great doctor Tyler has been for us all these years.

Eventually it got to the point that I could no longer do all of the things that I needed to do, so I sought a local Chiropractor to see if any relief could be realized. Having never been to a Chiropractor before (at age 59) I did not know what to expect. Lucky for me, the Wellness Chiropractor Center was close to home and was covered by my insurance. Dr. Wehking gave me an emergency appointment, followed up by several additional sessions within a week, and I felt some relief even after the first session. He encouraged me that life would get better, and he was 100% correct. Life has been back-pain free for over a year and a half now, which I thought was impossible without surgery, and I owe a big thanks to Dr. Wehking for providing me with a good quality of life. However, I had some reservations because the interactions and the phone-answering service had a very corporate and unfriendly feel to them. On the second call I made to set up the appointment, the receptionist came across as a bit snotty. Even though I was calling more than a week in advance, she acted like I was putting her out to find a time for me and acted annoyed. In addition, I was told I would have to have X-rays every 3 years to continue to see them in the future, which I thought was extensive. Previous chiropractors I have seen have only required initial X-rays. X-rays cause non-ionizing radiation and can lead to cancer due to DNA breakage. One would think doctors interested in health would not require that. I was on my way to my appointment today and called to let them know I was coming. However, the receptionist told me my appointment was canceled because I did not call to confirm it earlier. I was shocked. I hadn't gotten a chance to call to confirm the appointment. I had driven from out of town to come. Anyway, I think if I make an appointment and haven't cancel it, I will be there. Many people, including myself, don't always have time to call and confirm every appointment they make. Although I can understand the policy, I don't think canceling the appointment of a person who needs help, because they didn't have a chance to confirm it, is a very professional or caring thing to do. I can't speak to the skills of the doctors who work at Back in Action as I have not seen them. I didn't get that far. I don't plan on making any future appointments.

However, if they late cancel your appointment they aren't accommodating for a re-schedule. Unless you can re-arrange your life expect to be several months out--as in at the time of your next cleaning. As a professional myself if I have to late cancel someone due to unforeseen circumstances I make sure to go above and beyond to accommodate a re-schedule that is convenient for the person because I value the time they set aside. I guess I should always remember that not everyone has that same level of professionalism.

Dr Andersen and crew have always been friendly and professional. They provide wonderful care. At 68 years old, I've been to a number of dentists over the years. Dr Andersen and staff are the best! I'd like to add that yesterday an old crown that had been placed by a prior dentist fractured and chipped off. I called Artisan Dental last evening to see if I could get in today. I got a return call at 7:15 this morning, was in their chair at 9 AM, and was done with a new crown at 11:15 AM. Thank you so much Rochelle, Dr Rehermann, and Cassie for such speedy, kind, and professional service. I have no idea how people could have had negative experiences. After going at least twice a year for 8 years, I've always been treated exceptionally well. It's true the office is like a very hip spa, and the equipment is state of the art, but the most important part is the people that work there. They're incredible.

My former dentist declared an upper molar beyond repair after two unsuccessful attempts to crown it, and said it must be pulled. After several years I decided I had to do something about it, and went to Westside Dental. To my great surprise, Dr. Brown said that he could save the tooth, and crowned it successfully without a root canal. It's still going strong after three years. Thanks doc, you're the greatest!

The dental hygenist cleaned my teeth and did the xrays and she was fantastic, patient, calm, intuitive and brilliant. She was gentle and caring and made the worst part of the dentist so much more tolerable than I ever dreamt it could be. The cleaning and the scraping was done easily and efficiently. I was relieved! The dentist, herself, was very personable and one could tell she loves her job and really cares about her patients. She was very knowledgeable and answered my questions.
