We took all the info over here and the vet really did her research before meeting with us. She was confident they could spay our dog without using the same stuff the other vet used (and they used way too much and told us more tests were needed and wanted a ton of money for all of this, plus talked about putting our one year old dog on heart meds for life!) We made an appointment and I'm happy to report that our dog was successfully spayed by them today and had no ill side effects and is peacefully recovering. ‍ I could not speak more highly about the care we received here from alllll the staff. Also they can take temps by just scanning the microchip on the dog instead of shoving the thermometer up their . Their staff happily offered to pick my dog up and put her in her crate to come home so she didn't jump and so I didn't have to pick her up. So thoughtful! This is our new primary vet.

The waiting room is divided into two on each side of the entrance door. Everything was clean and uncluttered. It was a no muss-no fuss visit with no hard sells. We had an x-ray taken to try to determine how many puppies (10-12) but it would have been nice to be shown the x-ray. Upon check-out, we were pleasantly surprised neither one of us had to give up any limbs in order to pay the bill! So I was scheduling an appointment with a new vet only to be accused of missing at least two previous appointments. In the twenty years we have been going to the Animal Doctor we have never missed any appointment. This is very hurtful. The more I thought about this the more bothered I became so I called back and cancelled the appointment I had just made. I will start looking for a new vet. Dr Dan Herrin has been the best vet we have ever taken out animals to. If this new vet cant keep any better records than this then I will just go somewhere else. We will miss Dr Dan very much!

I've rarely encountered someone so openly rude and dismissive in a customer-facing role. Every interaction felt like I was being talked down to, as if asking basic questions was some kind of inconvenience. The attitude wasn't just unprofessional--it was flat-out unpleasant. What's most frustrating is that this isn't something subtle you could brush off. The judgmental tone and lack of basic courtesy were obvious and consistent enough to completely ruin the experience. It's honestly baffling that someone who treats customers this way is the face of a business that's supposed to be about creating a positive and safe environment for our pets. I left feeling annoyed, unwelcome, and pretty shocked at how poorly I was treated. There are far better places out there that actually respect their customers and don't talk about them to their other employees when you're walking out the door.
