Every time I pick my dog up, he's happy, well taken care of, and doesn't seem stressed at all--which says a lot. They keep everything really clean and organized, and I love knowing my dog is in a safe environment while I'm away. It gives me a lot of peace of mind. Definitely one of the most trustworthy places in Amarillo for dog boarding. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!

Took my girl on Saturday afternoon at 5pm, receptionist was sweet. Picked my girl up on Wednesday afternoon at 415 pm. Was told my balance was $115. Apparently after 4 pm, you get charged for late drop off or late pickup, was never informed of this. 4 nights for $195?! Basically paid for 5 nights. She did get a "complementary" bath. Too steep of a board for just a place for my dog to sleep and she requires very little play time because she is 16 years old. Won't be going back there.

My Roxy died from a heart attack while we were on our way for a camping trip away from home. We…read moretook her to the animal ER in Amarillo and had to put her to sleep. It was a Friday night and we had driven from Houston. We left Roxy at the hospital, and we didn't want her body in our car with our other dog all the way back to Houston. The hospital told us about Critter Camp. We called and talked with Cody. He picked Roxy up from the hospital, cremated her, and shipped her ashes and her collar (we had forgotten to take it) to us. The ashes were in a very sweet bag. Cody was so kind when my heart was breaking. I really appreciated his compassion and his care for our little foxy Roxy and for our loss.

We went to High Plains Veterinary Clinic due to my puppy not eating we felt like something was…read morewrong she has been like this for about 3 days, walking, interacting, and overall moving. They did a parvo test, came back positive so they gave her an "antibiotic." When we got her back she had a huge lump by her neck backside, they said it was normal. When we got her back she seemed a little off we thought it was the "antibiotic". 2 hours go by and she was significantly worse, still not eating, not responsive, can't even stand, locked jaw and her eyes started rolling back. We called to see what they can do about this they said they really can't do anything about it except for offering to euthanize her. They were in-comprehensive, money hungry,and only wanting to create opportunity for them to make money. We asked for advice and got nothing. We paid 300$ for medicine she can't even take and the other option was 700$ for a night at the vet and they check on them every 2 hours. My puppy is still sick and unresponsive we are doing our best to keep our Rosie alive these people have no intention to help,all they want is money. Would give negative stars if I could.

They sent us videoclips as our dog was being groomed and she looked very calm. We took her back today and for the first time she seemed actually anxious to go in and did not fight to get away. They have the dog grooming tables where you can see them working... not hidden away. They do not cost you and arm and leg, either. They are worth every cent and more We are real pleased with this business.
