Anyways, the daughter wanted to check this place out to get something for her friend's birthday; unfortunately, they didn't have the items/characters she was looking for. We browsed around, and it seems that a lot of the store is focused on modeling kits - lots of those, Gundam, paints, tools, etc. They have some aisles for plushies and other soft characters / mascots, etc., and some for figurines as well. They also have limited selection of those lottery things where you pay for a ticket, reveal what the ticket has and get that "prize." One of the things that caught our eyes were their mystery / blind boxes. Gambling! My daughter ended up getting a few of those, but sadly some repeats. Bad luck haha. Noticed they had a couple sets of Labubu for sale as well, but similar to a lot of stuff here, they were heavily marked up. For instance, when we went, Have a Seat was $65 a box and Big Energy or something was $85 a box. Wowzers! Crazy how there is such a hype, but they are hard to get, so desperate consumers would pay desperate prices I suppose. There was also a table of mystery bags. There is a hint to which character or anime or contents as well. None of those really caught our eyes, but maybe someday! read more

The store itself was super fun, but it's pretty disappointing that I paid $35 for a Spy x Family mystery bag and got a figure that literally has a price tag STILL ATTACHED that's less than what I paid for the "mystery bag". read more

An Anime Store in Walnut Creek!!! This is so exciting! We don't have to drive an hour to SF or San Jose for anime merch anymore! This store has everything any anime fan needs. From Gundam model kits to popular anime figures like One piece and Demon Slayer, this store has it all. There are some rare finds in there as well, like the NieR Automata model kit from the hit game. I was able to purchase the Maple Machine god mode from the anime Bofuri there!! I've never seen this thing in person, ever!!. Discovering this place is like finding a dragon's treasure den. The customer experience was great as well. Very friendly people who are anime fans just like us. When talking to them, you can easily get lost into hilarious conversations on animes. Came here today with my boyfriend and a bunch of his friends. First off, there's finally a Japanese model kit shop near me which I'm stoked about. They have loads of gundams which albeit aren't my thing, but they also have loads of cute plushies to which I bought Kero/Keroberos from Card Captor Sakura. Pretty decently priced. Some stuff is more expensive, some stuff is par for the course and some stuff is cheap compared to other places. Just depends on what you're looking for. I will say I'm a fan of the Zoids models they have. I do hope they get some Pokémon models in stock as well as digimon models since I tend to love building those but given this a new sister branch from Toys Logic, I'll give it some time for them to stock things. But I'd definitely suggest stocking other models aside from Gundam. My boyfriend loves gundam models so it works out for him and his friends. This place is also good for miscellaneous Pokémon plushies and cups/t-shirts as well as model kit tools and paint. read more

An anime store without any of the stuffing and padding you would find at any other "anime" store. Don't expect to find DVDs and Manga here, the only merchandise you'll find are scale-figures and collectibles from your favorite series (they even had products from very obscure series like Five Star Stories). Their Gundam and model kits selection was also pretty vast and even had a pretty big section of paint in the back. The staff was also helpful and knowledgeable about their anime, which is rare to find (hard to believe huh). All-in-all a very nice store, well kept, and saw that they just opened so I can't wait to see what else they'll have in the future! Will definitely visit again. read more

Staff couldn't be bothered to greet us upon entering the store, despite making direct eye contact with me. We actually weren't offered assistance at any point during our visit, even upon approaching the checkout area, but that could be because we couldn't find any items of interest in their limited and extremely dated stock. I go out of my way to support small businesses when I feel valued in return as a customer. The place is pretty quiet, with some low playing anime music. It is definitely a clean place. The staff greet you at the door. It has a lot of different options. If you're a fan of anime merch, model kits, or figures then this is a small local spot to try. The store had an interesting verity of items that you may not be able to easily find in other stores or sites. I came to this location after hearing that they had a decent size selection of Gunpla. The store had plenty of grades to choose from, and you're likely to find a new kit that isn't part of your collection yet. One thing to take note of is that the prices seem to be a bit higher than other retailers. If you're okay with spending a more to secure the item you want now rather then waiting for it to ship for some other online store then this may be a viable option for you. Now onto customer service. I was greeted as soon as I entered, and purchasing my item was quick and easy. The cashier was available when I needed them. The only complaint I really have is that it felt like I was personally being watched and followed in the store. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this experience here before, but it made me feel unwelcome. If you're looking for a place to buy the anime related things you love, then give this place a try. The ladies that work here are friendly. Shirts are around $25.00 to $27.00. Color paint is around $8.00 each. Anime figures are $30.00 and up. The place is warm inside. I don't know if they have air conditioning or not.
