Kind of a little bit of everything really. There's toys, plushies, video games, models, figures, and of course Pokemon cards along with other stuff. Lots of fun stuff for all, and for all ages too as they have quite a bit of retro stuff floating around here. The place does remind me quite a bit of the kind of set-up I would see in Japan and stuff, where display cases are all over, with stuff just sprawled out inside of them for people to look and peruse over. There really aren't too many of these places like this anywhere nowadays. Good nostalgia just from that perspective. Makes it fun. How is the pricing of everything? Actually reasonable for most things I saw here. There were some things that seemed to be fairly overpriced, but it was mainly for the rarer stuff which is understandable, but still pretty far over the market price elsewhere (online and such). But the general stuff sold here were all fair enough for a physical store. The service here, I actually didn't really interact with them much. While I was walking around the store I did hear customers converse with the staff and it seemed friendly enough, so I assume it's fine. They seemed eager to help when people walked up to the counter-adjacent areas, so there's that. Though I didn't walk out with anything the first time I visited the place, finally, I certainly almost wanted to grab something quite a few times as I was making my way through there. Will definitely be back at some point later.

I appreciate their helpful approach when asking about new releases, recent books on their shelves. They definitely have a solid selection of graphic novels and comic-related collectibles to browse through. Oh, their back-issue wall has so many great books on display! This is easily one of my favorite comic shops in the Bay Area. Whenever I'm visiting family in the 707 I make it a point to stop by. Highly recommended for comic fans of all kinds.

The battery was open box, but never charged, never used, essentially brand new except for the tape seal having been cut. The act of opening the box breaks their return policy and my request was rejected. No one told me about this detail in their return policy during my conversations with the parts counter employees or at the register. Needless to say, I'm disappointed enough to write a review. On a Friday afternoon I decided to check out Delta R/C, which on a good day is a 35-40 min drive from Oakland. Expectations were not high as their website seemed outdated, didn't list current info about events, and they had no online storefront. However, I was more than shocked by what I saw when I arrived: Largest brick/mortar store I have found, extensive parts department, indoor track and micro crawler course onsite (more race courses across street at fairgrounds). Staff was friendly, esp. Kristin at the front register. Also, found out about some events next day that I attended (just wish it was on website). I think Delta will become my 'home hobbyshop' but just wish they had an online store so I could peruse their inventory before making the 40+ min drive.

Games are organized alphabetically, with clear sections for each manufacturer, making your hunt for your latest video game obsession as easy as possible. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, with a lot of knowledge on the games they're offering if you have any questions. Prices seem pretty reasonable as well! Retro gaming can get expensive. I wouldn't say Phoenix Games is a bargain, but they're definitely not out to nickel and dime you from my experience. Overall, I'm always stoked to stop by when I'm in the area -- whether just to browse, or because I have a specific title in mind.

It was a little crowded with other customers and a game (maybe tournament?) taking place at the tables inside. Which was no issue. I was able to find what I need, pay, and head out. I didn't pay as much as I anticipated for what I was looking for, which was nice. All the more reason why I appreciate shopping small businesses and locally when I can. I would recommend this store AND shop again if I needed to buy any more trading cards.

They have a nice stock of most MTG packs and ever some fun and more hard to find boxes and items on their shelves. There isn't anything else within 25+ miles until you hit Davis or the east bay as reasonable and great as Mad Alpaca.

There was also no sealed pokemon for sale, they said they ran out when we went. While I didn't have anything to do while my bf browsed the mtg singles, I went to their little free arcade to play while I wait. I thought it was a cool edition plus it's nice of them to not charge to play. We saw alot of people inside when we went so I am guessing this place is popular among locals.
