BLT with onion rings, OR was perfection!
    Jackie W.

Came here during our break in between baseball, so glad we did! You walk back in time a bit with the decor but in the best way possible as I just loved it! BEST PICKLE CHIPS, they are fried to perfection and are actual pickle chips! We also ordered a BLT, Bacon Cheeseburger (was huge) and chicken fried chicken steak with a side of fries and onion rings! Nice hidden gem by Franklin Baseball fields which is where we spend a lot of weekends! Can't wait to work through this menu and get here for breakfast! Service was great, real homey feel! I felt like I was at my mom's house, excited to come back and we just left!

The whole area is very country style. Very nice.

I would definitely add 1 billion more stars atmosphere was very country and very welcoming. The ambience was nice very Christian. The service was amazing. The people there deserve a raise. The food was the best. I'm going to take like an hour nap. I had the best chicken strips. The baked potato was perfect. everything was so neatly tied together, and the food was fast depicting on how good it was and I cannot stop mentioning how much stars they are deserving one to five 1 million big reviewers definitely try this

I've been to this place twice on Friday for the fried fish, hush puppies, pinto beans and yummy tarter sauce. You just walk in fix your plate and drink and some nice person will make it by to hand you a bill. They keep it simple yall .

    All you can eat
    Randy R.

Had heard from several people that if you want Catfish this is the place to go. They were not wrong the fish was perfect ! Cut thin for those that like it crispy and thicker pieces for those who don't. Jalapeño and regular hush puppies, fries, coleslaw and chicken strips. On Friday evenings it's all you can eat and the price is right too. I definitely recommend this place.

4.5 stars overall!…read more This is the new spot! Hitting their one year anniversary today, I can highly recommend moose and oak! The decor/setup provides a slightly upscale, but still casual, sports bar feel that's family friendly. There are dart boards and various games surrounding the tables but it's all separated appropriately. Tbh this would be a perfect place to watch your sport of choice! The lineup: SOFT SERVE MARGARITA: you read that right & The reason we came here (thanks Instagram!) we got strawberry and it was everything and more I needed it to be. Will be back for this alone. TRUST. although..... I feel like it should've completely filled the glass like it does in the advertisement $9.99 a piece! 100/10 Appetizer: fried pickles spears - YALL. I am soooo picky about fried pickles and these are the best I've had. The pickles were good, crunchy, not overly oily, and stayed together! 12/10 Pickle flatbread: apparently I felt in a pickle escapade mood. Surpringly not over pickly and delicious. I would absolutely get this again. The crust was soft and cheese was melty! 9/10 Fish tacos: average. The chipotle sauce was a bit spicy. Don't know that I would get these again. 5/10 Fries I could skip, not my fave. The street corn was so good, though I wouldn't consider it traditional &! A bit heavy on the red onion, but I enjoyed it! Their sauces were all so good! The prices were fair & I feel like the amount I paid was relative to what I had, so kudos to management for that! Last but certainly not least, Prestyn, our server was great and hilarious. We truly enjoyed her & her jokes! PS - Girl, you and your name are beautiful! The food was semi-slow to come out, but thankfully we weren't in a hurry.

NRF was on a couple. They added a wall with pool tables since it changed owners. Ordered the blueberry lemon drop, it was 9/10 and would have been 10/10 but had no sugar rim... maybe I need to request it? Usually lemon drops come with but I dunno. Also ordered grilled shrimp tacos with cheese only. They came out with only shrimp, waitress brought out a side of cheese when I asked. Three shrimp to a taco, one more would have seemed more appropriate. But they were yummy. Fries were great, some of the best sports bar fries I've had. I enjoyed my food and drink and woke return, even though they still have some kinks to work out.

We stopped by on our way back from Shreveport expecting some standard diner food. Lucky for us, the food was way better than expected and much higher quality as well. My son and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, while my wife ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken due to the recommendation of our waitress. Unfortunately, they brought out three orders of Chicken Fried Steak. We didn't say anything and accepted the food as it was. The Chicken Fried Steak was humongous and packed with flavor. It was a tad on the salty side and the meat was a little tough. But for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, it was still better than expected. All of the sides tasted great, including the Mac n cheese, baked potato, coleslaw, fries, and onion rings. I would recommend stopping by here to support them and avoid the fast food chains.

The Pharm is in downtown Buffalo. A lot of locals eat here. If you are a hunter, you are going to love this place. On the front wall is one of the most impressive collections of deer trophies I have ever seen. Lots of restaurants with hunters for owners or workers put deer heads up on the wall. Few have as an impressive a collection of top score trophies as you will see at the Pharm. The antler widths are absolutely positively enormous. I didn't think they made deer with antlers that big. * * * What goes for the antlers goes for the food. Pharm takes pride in its steaks. This seemed like a good reason to order a rib eye sandwich. That rib eye was about as wide at the biggest trophy on the wall. It extended half a foot out of my bun on one side and half a foot out of my bun on the other side. The bun was merely a handle for picking the sandwich up. The rib eye was thin but absolutely tender. It was not the $150 steak you would get at an oil magnate's private dining club. But for an everyday steak sandwich, it was just great. I was happy to have it. I was also happy to have the onion rings that went with it. * * * I would say the crowd was 100% local. I was the only highway passer-through. There were a lot of people taking a break from work for lunch. Many of these guys had the name of their company embroidered on their baseball cap. There were retirees in camouflage having lunch with friends. There was one young Christian couple having a long friendly conversation with a lady who was probably the manager. The manager was holding a hammer and waving her hammer over the place. My guess is that they were talking about some kind of repair or remodel job going on in the restaurant. But then who knows? Altogether, it seemed like a comfortable neighborhood hangout. * * * I suppose you "could" do well by eating at the Subway right at the highway junction. I recommend you do better by going into Buffalo itself.

The Office Grill & Saloon is about as "local" as you can get and I was pleased to see this bar and grill had a family with kids when we walked in. Maybe it gets a different crowd on other nights but tonight was friendly. A lovely waitress/bartender came over with menus and took our food and drink order. Mrs. K. enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a Lone Star Light beer. With it, a fish sandwich with delicious fries and a cheeseburger with onion rings for me. It was good and it was hot and it was all put together with care. This was a terrific little hole in the wall local stop. I'm so glad I trusted Yelp! This hole in the wall locals bar/grill stated off as a bar with pool tables and when covid hit, they expanded to serving food to stay open. The original owners got out, a long-time local customer stepped up and took over/bought it out and kept it going. The Good: Its family friendly, locally owned and caters to the local crowd. The food is fresh. Almost everything on the menu is fresh/scratch made: Fries? They cut the potatoes and drop em in the fryer. Wednesday nights about 50 weeks out of the year, the owner grills ribeyes over charcoal - he takes a break when on vacation or his kid is showing animals at the fair. Spring means the occasional crawfish. The steak fingers are hand battered sirloin strips. The onion rings are fresh cut and hand battered. If alcohol is your thing the drink menu is pretty substantial, and if they have the fixings they can make what you want. Friday and saturday night is a little more adult oriented but stillt remains family friendly. The "Bad". If there's one thing I'd have to say, its that the kitchen is small, so when its busy it will take time to get your food. If you come on a busy night, understand that you might be waiting a while. As a local who is here several times a week at various times of the day, I know and accept that. Please be patient, if you've got the time I think the food is worth the wait, when there is one. If you happen to be passing through, drop in and grab a bite or a drink.

We sat for several minutes before flagging him down for different menus, and then waited another several minutes before flagging down another person to see who was going to be our server-as we still didn't even have water. She wasn't sure if it was going to be her (Teresae) or someone else... so we went ahead and ordered an appetizer and drink since she was there. About 4 minutes passed when the other person showed up to see if we needed a server. It took several minutes to get his drink which came after the appetizer- artichoke dip with baguettes which were decent. From the time we placed our main order- sandwich and snapper, it took about 26 minutes. The waitress never came back to check on us during that time, and we had to flag down the guy that sat us to get a water refill. The food was decent, but something had an aftertaste (maybe the onion rings fried in tallow?), & the snapper was a little salty. The waitress never followed up to see how the food was or ask if we needed anything else. We finally had to get her attention to get a to go container and our check. Having been a waitress for several years, here's my suggestions: A GM needs to be on the premise, communicate to servers after a table is seated so they know it's their turn, staff needs training on customer protocol/service, staff needs to quit touching their hair, wiping their face/nose (especially the guy as I thought he was going to have a heart attack as much as he sweat) and then serving food/drinks/setting the table (wash your hands!), & if kitchen staff is unhappy about something, don't do it to where people can see them... There were a few other tables that waited just as long as us to get service, and sometimes the two girls switched customers after starting with them. Not impressed- no GM/Mgr. on the premise, service was severely lacking, and food was average. This place won't be on my list to come back again any time soon... and then to see the banners in the photo... I had to laugh.
