The salon itself is super clean and bright -- it honestly felt like I was in Korea. Yuni and Izzy were both so sweet and welcoming from the moment I walked in. From the consultation to the dyeing process, the relaxing hair massage, and all the way to the end, everything felt smooth and well-organized. Jane was very welcoming and took the time to understand my daughter's hair coloring history. She also listened to what my daughter wanted and gave her options to help achieve those hair goals so that we both felt comfortable. The stylist (I will not name her because she already gave me a full refund) was very sweet and we had great conversations. The cut ended up being mostly what I wanted but my curtain bangs were not even. I went to a gathering the next day and couldn't take it- so I texted her saying I need to get it fixed. She let me come in. Then the nightmare starts. I told her exactly what I wanted to be fixed. Just even out the left bang with the right. She starts going at my hair and grabs so much more than the curtain bang area...basically taking the full top part of my hair throughout the hairline and cutting it in such an odd angle. I have never seen it in my life and I get cuts regularly for layers. At the end she started curling and I told her I didn't want her to curl it because I wanted to see the hairstyle without it done. She said she would just do the ends, but she proceeded to do the whole head and I'm just appalled at this point. I went out with a curled head of hair and showed disappointment in my reactions but she said that as long as I style it it'll look good. I went in wanting a low maintenance haircut and now I have to curl it all the time?! I flew back to where I lived and couldn't take it anymore. My hair looked horrible. I asked for my money back and she gave the refund. Just a warning everyone- please please do your research and know that although you'd expect this salon to have good stylists, they don't.
