After trying out many hair salons here in socal I feel like I finally found my go to hair salon here! With the help of Vivian and Jun they were able to take me in for a late afternoon Sunday no appointment! I asked to dye my whole hair and go darker into a brown color. After talking to Vivian and showing examples of the brown hair color that I wanted(plus I wasn't sure of what shade of brown that I really wanted) I left it up to Vivian. While waiting they give me a complimentary drink and snacks and Jun was a very funny person to talk with, he will definitely keep you entertained while talking to him. Vivian was also a funny person to talked with and a pleasant person :D Finally a hair salon that doesn't wash your hair so roughly! The atmosphere in the salon was very relaxing and clean. And it wasn't over crowded for a Sunday either which was so nice. This salon feels pretty homey and comfortable~ You can see that the workers here really do care about your hair and will make sure you leave with an amazing new look and satisfied. I went back for a touch up yesterday and we were able to achieve the color I wanted with minimal damage! I actually wasn't expecting to be able to get exactly what I wanted because I know my hair is extra stubborn, and I didn't want to compromise my hair health too much to get what I want. But Vivian was able to do it with super gentle overall bleaching, and I trusted her because I know she cares even more about healthy hair and (like before) took specific steps to prevent additional damage. And my hair does not feel more damaged or frizzy! :) Also, Jun as always was super hospitable and fun to talk to! Hair AttiRance is the single best Asian hair salon I've been to in the US. Ive been to maybe ~11 different Salons -- ones in LA Ktown, NYC, Buena Park, and more. The interior is beautiful and chic, the staff are genuine and friendly, and most importantly, the stylist is very very skilled. Every time I went I've gotten my hair way better than what I've even asked for. I told my wife I went in looking like a gorilla and then came back as a kpop idol. I've gotten both haircuts and perms and were very satisfied. If you're looking for a stylist that's great with Asian (especially East Asian) hair and aesthetics, I highly recommend this place. She is fast at replying to appointments, and tries her best to fit you in. I had the privilege to see her own shop, and this place is nice! Everything in here looks glamorous and it seems like you are royalty here. They got chandeliers suede chairs, I noticed there was even a gold razer she uses. There is plenty of parking, and it's good to know they take many different payments, from venmo, to smart pay. It's always great to have someone that knows what to do, and even suggests new styles. She even cut my 18 month year olds hair. Me and my wife have had constant comments how he looks like a Korean pop star, or "BTS". This place is far from where I live but it's worth the drive, plus I get to enjoy the many different restaurants around the area. I was able to book a same day hair cut with Vivian, the director. I asked for long layers and face framing bangs, and she was able to get my hair washed, cut, dried, and styled within 45 minutes! She was very communicative while cutting my hair, checking in frequently to make sure I was ok with the length and layers. Vivian is skilled and a seasoned professional. The staff here are also very personable and kind. The interior is clean and bright, and there's plenty of parking. Needed a haircut & overall hair refresh for my grown out balayage and found AttiRance on Yelp. I was able to call and make a reservation the day before and it was so refreshing not having to book a month in advance, send inspo pics or deposit. I didn't want to bleach my hair again so opted to just get toner. The only direction I gave was not too ashy, with my main goal being overall healthier looking hair and they nailed it! The color came out so beautiful and my natural hair isn't so stark against the bleached parts now. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be coming back! I booked an appointment with Vivian after reading the amazing reviews about her hospitality, skills, and expertise -- the photos were a bonus! I was greeted by an incredibly kind staff member who had such positive energy, and I immediately felt welcomed. I came to Vivian with a four-day-old haircut that had uneven cuts, choppiness, excessive thinning, bowl-cut bangs instead of fringe, and only one short layer while the rest of my hair stayed long, making it look like I had terrible extensions. I had originally asked for a trim on my fringe bangs, a V-cut, and lots of layers... but that was not what I received. Vivian SAVED my hair! She acknowledged my disappointment, recognized all the flaws, explained exactly how she would fix them, and offered expert advice throughout the whole process -- something I appreciated so much. It was incredibly reassuring. She took her time, measured each layer to ensure even lengths, blow-dried my hair and trimmed again to make sure it looked perfect when dry, and worked with meticulous care in the most humble way. This is my third time coloring it purple with her and not only is the color gorgeous, it also fades into a really nice lavender grey. 3. I've been bouncing around trying different salons for awhile now trying to find someone I liked, or at least made me like my hair. I had finally just assumed that I must not really care about how my hair looks very much. I'm happy to say that has changed. I came in yesterday for a haircut as a walk in and was sat with Julie. She had a table for me to set my bag on at her station and took me back and gave me like a robe, for lack of a better word, before washing my hair. Once my hair was washed she made sure it wasn't sopping wet and that I could make it to her station without dripping all over myself. I never know what I like and I told her to just do whatever she wanted. This admittedly doesn't typically work well for me, but Julie gave me the first haircut that I've actually liked. After the cut, I got a blow dry and she curled my hair.
