I know movies have gone up in price, and we don't pay NY prices here, but still, $29 for two tickets and a popcorn is a prime example of why Netflix is so appealing and popular. This was often our second go to theater because it was one of the last ones without the oversized recliners. They also have never been super-crowded (smaller seats=more seating). The last time we were here they were transitioning to be seats. The transition is complete. We just don't like the giant reclining seats. Also, if we have to attend a movie at a theater with these seats because of movie times, we prefer one where the leg and seat back controls are separate because I don't like to have my legs raised very high. Unfortunately, in this theater, I can't even recline my seat back at all until I've fully raised the leg bar. This position sometimes puts me to sleep, but it's uncomfortable having my legs raised a bunch with the seat back completely upright, so I'm forced to leave the whole thing in the regular position, or come close to fully reclining it. Enough complaints about the seats. I'm sure you get the point. I would give a 3 1/2 rating, but it's not an option, and I can't give a 4. Service here is hit or miss. The ticket counter was run well on this visit, however, our popcorn was full of itty bitty pieces you can't pick up in the bottom of the of the tub, and it took the one cashier ringing concessions a long time to ring 3 guests. Then, when we got into the theater, did I mention the seats . . . In addition, this place seems to attract a younger crowd that is louder during the show and some are rude enough to play on their phones, making everyone near them have to deal with the glow cast from their screens. This time we even had a kid two rows back throwing popcorn into our row. Like I suggested, Netflix is popular for a reason.

We wanted to go see The Black Panther. Since we were going to meet up with friends at a nearby Korean BBQ joint. We decided to watch it here so were at striking distance whenever the team is near assembly. Use to be some other theatre before, I forgot which one it was, but now it's been bought up by Cinemark and been fluffed and buffed. Same as all the Cinemarks, everywhere, they have the recliner seats everybody loves so much. The theatre is pretty clean, it was definitely pretty busy when we went. Tons of people buzzing around watching movies and such. It's clean, it's well lit and the employees are really nice. Not a bad experience during our cinematic adventure. Would definitely come back and watch a movie here again. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!

This theater has gotten MUCH better since they installed the reclining seats! It had all the other advantages before, like multiple concession stands, 20 screens, huge parking lot, etc. I just preferred other theaters with the more comfortable reclining seats. But, now that AA 20 is caught up with other theaters in the area, it has gotten much better! I went twice during the week of Christmas and it was packed but the staff did a great job of making sure the theaters were cleaned in between shows. Also, if you buy your tickets ahead of time on Fandango, you can read the confirmation number to the ticket attendant by the theater doors. They will print the tickets for you as they usher you inside and it saves you from waiting in a super long ticket line!

The macadamia cookies from the Gelato Cafe inside Cinemark are the best!!! This is our go to place... it is big and i like how they have a dining / waiting / computer games area inside the theater...

What I do love about Ann Arbor is that they balance out the drunk haunts of young adults with great restaurants and high end bars for the people looking for more than a pitcher of cheap beer. Rabbit Hole is one of those spots. Down the same little alley way as Circ Bar, this underground bar is tucked away, stone hallways and open up and lead to different openings that provide seating, a dance floor and an amazingly stocked bar. If you like bourbon you will love this spot. Our bartender was fantastic, absolutely worked with me on working out a drink. I know I took a pic of an espresso martini, but my drink was made perfect also. Another nice surprise was that it wasn't some crazy price on the drink (I mean any crazier than other places and quite cheaper than around my home), especially for Ann Arbor. Walking away from the bar is a dance floor, and surrounding it are booths in a separate rooms and tables on a level up from the dance floor. There are also two hallways that lead to more booths and tables in different areas of the bar. As you can imagine this is a huge place. We came on a Friday and it wasn't very busy, but school is out and the weather had just broke so not surprising. I really enjoyed my time and the company I was with, and I would definitely go back.

More important to you, it's nestled in a beautiful neighborhood about one mile to most elements of the U of M central campus. So you can walk, if you're so inclined, and five to ten minutes in a car gets you to any number of important or interesting places. Parking is on the street, which turned out to be no problem, as there always were plenty of spaces near the entry sidewalk. Perhaps it's helpful to say that the Stone Chalet campus is the site of a former Unitarian church. That's how I remember it, driving/jogging by during student years. Therese remembers it was the site of piano recitals. Anyway, the former "main building" has been converted to an event center (we didn't spend much time there) and the former parsonage converted to guest quarters. Our room was Alice-in-Wonderland themed, spacious and cozy for an autumn visit. Breakfast was ordered via an app, with many choices, including gluten-free options for Therese. If you want a good and even inspiring conversation, seek out the owner Vincent, who can share some fascinating stories about real estate and his efforts to purchase, maintain, and make profitable the Stone Chalet property. We enjoyed our time here, and wish Vincent, Daisy, family and staff, all the best. Thank you, Stone Chalet.

Complete with historic farm house, barn, chickens!! This place is great for getting lots of outdoorsy photographs while still keeping guests like Grandma and Grandpa comfortable in air conditioned splendor. The price is really right and includes the use of their chairs, tables, and a small prep kitchen. You can invite your own catering (not forced to use theirs like many venues) So there again you can save some money without compromising any quality (i.e. no dry chicken dinner for $32ea) The barn is not as rustic looking on the inside it has exposed beams but white drywall in between which means you need to plan to use colored linens or something to add to the otherwise colorless room. They do however have it pre-lit with white holiday lights. Overall a great option for couples on a budget or conventions.

Just 4 days later, on 8/27/2021 they received a second email, CANCELLING the entire event. Cobblestone personnel CANCELLED their wedding after the details to move everything outdoors had been successfully changed, just 15 days before their wedding date of 9/11/2021. Not only did they cancel the event 15 days before it was scheduled to happen, they did it by email on a Friday just before 5pm. No phone call, and at best a pathetic explanation as to why they felt justified to do so. The people that work at Cobblestone are selfish, unprofessional, and should not be employed at such a venue if they care so little for the community or customers they are serving. If you are thinking about having a wedding or event at an outdoor site in the Ann Arbor area, look anywhere else as Cobblestone Farm is a nightmare to deal with.
