Came here for my niece's birthday party on a Saturday afternoon. There were kids EVERYWHERE! You may feel instantly overwhelmed if you're not prepared to see running, screaming kids as soon as you walk in. They did a fabulous job with organizing and orchestrating her birthday party. Super easy process and it didn't break the bank. She had a cool wristband that looked like Disney magic band for the games. Others got a key card that went around their wrist. Cake, pizza, ice cream/dip N dots, and drinks all provided. She had a BLAST! Games didn't appear broken down. The place was cleanly. The food tasted great. And it looked like the employees wanted to be here. I will make some suggestions: 1) the front door needs a bit more security. I walked through the door with a birthday gift and was allowed right in; no questions asked. Not even a hello really...just a smile. However, my husband came in after parking the car and was stopped. In this day & age, I don't think there should be any assumptions. There should be a hostess-type person who asks every single person what they're here for and some sort of guest list. 2) more space! I know this location has been here since I was a kid. But it was as if we were sitting on top of people and constantly bumping into machines. We booked my daughter's second birthday here. We did 11-1pm time on a Sunday great day to do it since it was not packed. The unlimited play is an awesome deal for the kids they love it. The party comes with pizza but you have to add more if you have adults and we did the large boneless wings platters. Abbie was friendly that was helping our party. If you do the more expensive package they provide dipping dots, ticket blaster, they get to see chuckie cheeses, and get goodie bags. My daughter enjoyed it. I would recommend bringing your own cake and cupcakes we ended up doing that and getting from Sam's club which worked out well paired with what you get from party. Nice they take care of the decor and set up/clean up. We had some baby shark / 2 year old balloons we added and I would recommend bringing some balloons as well. read more

Great Experience. It was clean. The service was straightforward and the food was good for what it is. The family had a blast and that's what matters. Went there twice last week. My kid loves it there and it's a great way to entertain him for a hour or two. The place is kept pretty clean and the pizza is pretty good. We had to wait like 20 minutes before anyone took our order and there wasn't anyone in front of us. This has happened on several occasions were they only have one person at the counter to take orders and give out prizes. We really like the new play time minutes and they are reasonably priced. The pizza was fire! However, the Ford Road/Canton location was extremely crowded and the men's and women's bathrooms were filthy and without TP. We arrived Monday around 4:30 and left around 7:30. My 5 1/2 yo grandson had a blast. read more

Took my kids here for the first time. Been a while since I've been to Chuck E. Cheese since I was a child myself. We had a blast. Very clean and helpful employees. My two children under the age five devoured a large pizza. Only one negative I have to say is a group came and they were smoking in there vape smell terrible. Move my family to another area. But over all wonderful place. Thank you Chuck E. Cheese staff. Maybe my family night. We shall be coming here more often. read more

We purchased a coupon for a souvenir refillable cup. We have been there 3 times and they never had the cup. What is even worse is that they wouldn't provide us a disposable cup so th kids could drink something. There solution was for us to buy a beverage or give up our souvenir cup coupon for a one time use cup. I would not recommend this place. read more

We brought our Granddaughter here on a Friday at 5:30pm. The line was a 5 minute wait and the pizza and Bread sticks were delicious! Granddaughter loved it! Nice to see stuff slowly getting back to normal! read more

This place has food that has greatly improved over the years. We got a pizza and it was delicious. Very small though. But the service was terrible. We had to wait for about 5 minutes for an employee to get off their phone and assist us in getting a token card. I know the employee was on his phone because he was literally on it in front of us and told us he "would be with us in a minute.". We also waited over 3 hours for this small pizza. The setting is terrible. The indoor playground has been removed. The stage were the monsters used to be has been removed. The dancing mascot of the mouse himself has also been terminated. The music sings of stupid stuff now. The rides/games are very limited and many of the good ones/popular ones have been removed. This place is just sad to walk into now. Finally took my kids there for the first time. It's not as cool as I remember it to be, but that's probably because I'm not 6 anymore. LOL. The food is way better than I remember it to be, and they serve BEER! Thank goodness. My kids were captivated by the "band" and all the lights and colors. We went on a weekday evening so it wasn't very busy. I was excited to go there to play Whack-A-Mole myself, but apparently they took it out!!! Who does that??? We asked about it, and they said it's because it breaks down too much and not making enough money. The store was clean and the staff was friendly. At the end of the day, the kids did enjoy it, so I guess at this point in time, that's really all that matters, with or without Whack-A-Mole. read more

Dude, Chuck E. Cheese makes really good pizza, like Supergood. I would order a Chucky to go or delivery if that was an option. Chuck E Cheese is a great place to celebrate the life and times of a little one. I mean I definitely wouldn't go here on a first date with the cute chick from Chem 112 with the low hangers, especially if she doesn't have kids, but I would definitely choose this place if you are dating a newly single mom and want to get on her kids' good side. The staff is kind and charming and there's always a few "surprise guests" aka costumes creatures willing to make sure that children and the "young at heart" have a fun, enjoyable, and memorable experience. There are a ton of games where kids can be kids and clowns can be clowns. Entertainment for all! They have games, opportunities to win various prizes like toys and candy and even rides! I am surprised that some of the rides can accommodate an adult, but I am a fan. Huge fan of the mouse mobile thing - a car w/the franchise mouse that moves up and down. Did I mention that they do pizza really really well? They have this cool feature where you can actually see an animatronic music show for a token. Really fricking cute I tell ya what! I definitely give this place five stars based on the food and bang for the buck. Going into the place, I was a dude who had to make an appearance at some kid's birthday, but walking out, I left a changed man. Besides really good pizza, nothing will affect me more than seeing children smile and having the time of their lives. Chuck E Cheese has been making people happy for ages and for this I honor them. Canton ( Ford Road) location is very clean! I typically dread going to Chuck E Cheese but my last visit for my nephew's birthday party was very pleasant. ALL of the games actually worked, the floors were clean, our food was hot and came out quickly, and the staff was friendly/helpful. Expensive salad bar ( around $7) but my salad was fresh and good. The wings are good as well. They sell beer for those parents that need something to take the edge off. lol I also suggest going online to print out coupon before your trip. read more

* * * * * BIRTHDAY PARTY REVIEW!! * * * * * Having a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's on a Saturday evening is only slightly more fun than standing on a fire ant hill covered in molasses. We planned for 8 kids and 10 adults....cost prediction in advance $125. Actual Cost after buying food and drink for all $185.00. This is without a cake. Planning: We booked on the website...seemed easy. We were instructed no outside food, which made it difficult due to several food allergies in our party (Peanut, Gluten, Soy). We also wanted to do a Tinkerbell cake but that is now not an option. We ordered a cake from them since we couldn't bring one. Arrival: Upon entering we see at least 7 tables with store bought cakes that were brought in from outside. If we would've known that we could've gotten one satisfying all food allergies and still had a Tinkerbell cake. My wife was not happy. We were sat at the table and were told there was no way that the website told us we could not bring in a cake, but they will comp the cake. (It was $185 with the cake taken off) We ordered food (including a gluten pizza and cupcake for my wife) and began the waiting process. The restaurant was at or above capacity at 5:30. IT GOT BUSIER! At some points in the next 3 hours it was difficult to move through the games, the ticket counters were frequently down and full (every 20 mins). Games malfunctioned regularly although a roving floor game manager frequently refunded tokens. The kids dinner was heralded by a speaker call and their pizza was delivered. My wife's gluten pizza was delivered ice cold (that is not a figure of speech...it was ice cold to the touch). It was returned 15 minutes later with a cup full of tokens. The adults pizza arrived nearly 40 minutes later. It was explained they were backed up. (Don't prepaid parties have priority?) The cake was brought 10 minutes after the pizza and we were rushed into the planned party activities. After they were done, we were told we had about 10 minutes to vacate the table. We asked if we could open our daughter's presents and they agreed. We were brought the bill during presents (only took 10-12 minutes) and were revisited 3 times to see if it was ready. After presents we were told we could move to another table outside of the birthday area (in a packed restaurant?). We found a table in a far corner. Although efforts were made to make things better, the experience made us feel like a number....rush em in rush em out! If you ask my kids, they love it every time no doubt. For my assessment, the pizza isn't as good as when I was a kid and in my assessment the furniture and decor feels quite worn and old... I walked in the door with 3 other people and was completely ignored. We stood in line for about Eight minutes while Two female employees behind the counter refused to acknowledge us. Everytime we go there ( Not on a weekend, that's crazy) The staff is super nice. The place is for the most part spotless and well maintained. The pizza isnt good in my and my 10Yr old girls opinion. I took my three neighbor boys here on a Saturday night. The place was a zoo and we had to wait to get in because they were at capacity. The wait was short, however. I recommend going online and printing out coupons to use before you visit. We spent $52 for a large pizza, four drinks and approximately 140 tokens. For the most part the facility was clean which is amazing considering how the place is full of kids. The pizza was good but took about 30 minutes to get. I didn't mind because the kids were having a blast. Some of the games were not giving out tickets but the game room attendant was very generous about giving the boys tickets to make up for it. One of the best things about this place was that I felt safe letting the boys go off and play by themselves. When you arrive they stamp the adults and kids with a number on your hand that is only visible by black light. This ensures some one else doesn't take off with your kids. They check everyone's hand when the group leaves. Why more places that cater to kids don't do this is beyond me. The only thing I'd recommend is bringing wet wipes. The salt, pepper and cheese shakers look like they were dirty. All-in-all, I'd definitely return to this location with the boys again. read more

This location is struggling to pull it together. Came on a Wednesday because there was an advertised Wednesday promotion. Waited in line for 20 min. to learn about said promotion and to purchase points only to find out two different cashiers did not know anything about the posted Wednesday promotion on various signs inside and outside. The toddler area is really great and this location has a lot of really cool games. We went to cash in our 200 tickets for a pack of gum and an eraser and waited in another 20 min. Line for the Cashier to calculate every persons tickets in front of us on a calculator to make sure that no one was getting any extra tootsie rolls or half a cent stickers for their money. Not even close to the point of being helped we left and went to buy our kid a pack of m & m's at the gas station. Will not be back. Would not recommend. The Dearborn location gets a bad reputation but I find it to be cleaner, better run, and calmer. read more

Some of the games don't always work. Also, their bathroom I never saw any sinks. Only saw hand sanitizer outside the restrooms. I hadn't been to a Chuck E Cheese in probably 14 years. I did not know what to expect when I took my almost 3 year old daughter there on a Wednesday night. I didn't realize that there would be a separate area for smaller children right in front of the stage with simple, easy to play games, a handful of different cars to ride in, a mini carousel, and a smaller tube play set. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that each thing in the area for smaller kids cost just one token. I didn't venture to the other side so I can't comment on that. But $10 got us 30 tokens that provided my daughter with an hour of entertainment. Not to mention, we arrived at 8pm and were out of there at 9 on the dot and the workers there did not seem upset and were not pushy at all. I was worried there wouldn't be much for my young child to do, but she had a blast and can't stop talking about it the next day. We will definitely be returning to this location! read more
