After some intense tight neck pain on my trap area, I went to a doctor who referred me to a go to a physical therapist. I choose Ann Steinfeld's place since it was pretty close to my place and had good reviews. My therapist was Julie, and I went through a 4 month program where she started me off with just a handful of exercise but usually every week she would add more exercises and reps until the last month where all I did was maybe raise the weights for a few. These exercises were focused on my week upper body strength to support my neck area. There were also some general stretches on and around the neck area. I started off seeing Julie 3 times a week, 1-ish hour sessions. In addition to the teaching the exercises, Julie did some light neck massages, as well as using electric stim machine to reduce the muscle tightness. After a month or 2 I started going twice a week, then on the last month I started only going once a week. On my last day, I was given a pretty nice Certificate of Graduation from Physical Therapy in addition to a cool bag. Now, I'll just say my pain has NOT fully gone away. Neck pain is something I've had for a while and these were the first steps to manage and reduce it. I went in physical therapy not knowing if the pain would every go down. I definitely noticed an improvement after the 4 months. I feel like even if the pain does flares back up I have a system to reduce the pain. It seems like the idea at this place (haven't been to other physical therapy before) is Physical Therapy is a guide for you to start a program to do better healthy choices for pain like mine or someone who suffered from an injury. I'd say this program definitely did its job starting me off on my future journey. The whole staff I worked with were nice, professional, and were willing to have fun casual conversations. Julie, my main PT, was great and helpful. The front desk lady was always helpful in scheduling appointments, whether in person or if I e-mailed. The physical therapy clinic also had a few assistants who help you with your exercises to make sure you're still doing proper form. They were also both professional and also fun to interact with about casual conversations like the latest movies. Overall I have nothing but nice things to say about this place. If you have insurance and this physical therapy clinic is relatively close to you, I highly recommend checking it out if you get recommended or referred to get physical therapy. read more

I was experiencing chronic elbow pain (lateral epicondylitis) for almost a year. I finally did PRP injection in my elbow, and set up a weekly PT schedule with Ann and her team. Julie was my therapist and she guided me through the rehab process which took a couple months. I'm thrilled to say that I am now completely pain free. I began physical therapy nine months ago with Ann Steinfield following a broken tibia and fibula. Due to the surgery, my knee also experienced significant trauma, requiring additional therapy for both the knee and lower leg/ankle. I focused on leg therapy for approximately three months before transitioning to shoulder therapy, addressing an 18-year-old injury, which I continued until December 31st. I'm pleased to report that my shoulder's range of motion is excellent, and my leg and knee are in great condition. I was back to mountain biking and dirt biking within six months. I was referred here by my doctor because I was having heel pain, and needed physical therapy to help alleviate the pain. The staff was great in giving me the proper exercises to help strengthen the area, and decrease pain. They also gave me exercises that I would be able to work on at home. I worked with Zoe mostly, and she was very attentive, corrected my form, and helped me to improve my flexibility through the exercises that were chosen for me. This review is long overdue! I'm writing about services I received last year during the summer of 2021 when I started to experience shoulder pain that made it difficult to work remote. It was so painful that I had gone to the ER and was given muscle relaxers/pain meds. This ER experience would begin my trial and error of managing this pain. I took advice from my gym bros, went to my PR, and orthopedic specialists to essentially manage the symptoms. It was not until finding the right orthopedic surgeon along with going to Ann Steinfeld that would ultimately resolve this near-to-tears chronic pain. I'm talking about pain shooting all the way from my shoulder to my finger tips! To my surprise, I've learned from my orthopedic surgeon that a combination of poor ergonomics and long hours in front of the computer screen had ultimately caused my shoulder/neck pain. Even without this information, the Ann Steinfeld team was already addressing these issues. I worked specifically with Dr. Julie who was the essence of professionalism mixed in with personal care. She always made me feel welcomed and never judged or criticized. She made each visit feel personal and not like I was another number. In fact, the whole team from the front desk to the rest of her team made me feel welcomed and cared for. Fast forward a year later, and I had just resigned from a job working crazy long hours and again in front of a computer. I guess I didn't learn my lesson the first time because I'm now experiencing the same shoulder/neck pain. I have my first returning as a client appointment today, and I have to say I'm already feeling relief! I went to Ann Steinfeld on the recommendation of my roommate. I was in bad car accident in March 2023 and broke my my hip. I will say that I was happy because it was so close to my house. Literally across the street. However, after being treated there, I would go out of my way if I had to. Mallory was so nice and helpful. She is the perfect person to have greet you each time. As for Julie, my PT, I cannot say enough great things about her. She understood my pain and my anxieties. From the first time meeting with her she explained everything that I needed to do in order to recover. She laid out a plan and helped me realize that it was going to take time and dedication without overwhelming me. After each session I could feel myself getting better. I highly recomment Ann Steinfeld Physical Therapy. Mallory, who works the front desk, is so easy to work with from scheduling to billing. My therapist, Zoe, was a delight to work with along with the interns. They were all very attentative, listened when I felt an exercise wasn't for me, and corrected my form when need be. When I arrived for my first appointment my range of motion was not good. When I completed my last appointment I was back to almost normal. Thanks to Zoe and the others, I have the tools to work on my range of motion and know I will be back to 100% soon. This place is great! This is my second time using them for physical therapy in a few year's time. Having a chronic illness and some surgeries, I have been to many PT companies in the area. I came back here this time for tendonitis, and pain from a car accident that was not resolved by other therapists. I have also been struggling after knee replacement surgery. The place I went to for rehab from surgery did not help me enough and I still had pain and swelling years after surgery. I'm feeling so much better! Ann is thorough and patient. She has a great staff and everyone works well together as a team. They're all well-trained and ask you if you are having pain and tolerating the exercises. If not, they'll show you an alternative way to perform it or have you do something else. Some days it is busy but everyone is friendly and it can be a fun atmosphere. I never feel that it is too busy or that I am not getting proper attention. Many days it is not as busy and it is quiet. After your exercises, they manipulate and massage the problem area, and if you want you have ice and stim so you leave there feeling less pain. There are also private rooms so if you are uncomfortable with other people around during your therapy, they could probably work on you there. Ann tries very hard to make sure clients get what they need. She also has a massage therapist available that you can book an appointment with. He works in a quiet room and is very good. It's so important to take care of ourselves. It doesn't matter what your age, injury or medical issue. Ann and her staff will do their best to get you back on track. read more

This review is long overdue for the amazing staff at this clinic. I had two injuries so had the benefit of working with Edan and Jess (an intern) plus the great staff (Mallory at the front desk, Erica and Bernice). After 3 months of going 2x a week, I am now pain-free in my elbow and arm, as well as my hips. These guys really challenged me to work hard during the exercises to rebuild my strength in both. Edan and Jess would keep an eye on my exercises while Erica and Bernice would support me through it. They also had great tips for how to stop aggravating my injuries through things that I was done in my everyday life and at work. The staff are all so pleasant and fun to converse with so it was not a chore to have to go to therapy even though it did take time from my busy schedule to drive the extra miles to this location. I missed them after my sessions ended, even despite the traffic! I came to this clinic for Ann Steinfeld since she was recommended by Dr.Gazanaga's office. She was not available to work on me due to an injury herself, which was probably a blessing in disguise because her team is so good. I agree with the one reviewer in their review that her focus is growing her business because that was her focus of conversation with me the one time we met. All in all, I had a great experience with Edan, Jess and the team there. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone needing physical therapy. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with Anne Steinfeld. She was totally unprofessional and talked non stop about herself and her dating life. Even in the midst of the global pandemic, she bragged about meeting men, while waiting for an elevator and dating them! That is NOT something a "physical therapist" should do, nor tell their clients about. She had a GREAT physical therapist, who she fired because he was concerned about her total disregard for her lack of her personal behavior regarding safety protocol during a PANDEMIC. I had a decent experience though i never fully recovered from my injury here. Had to go somewhere else to finish up my therapy and healing. Although i liked my therapist, this place manages to charge more than anywhere else I've been. Even after i managed to pay every time i went i ended up with a final bill making my total out of pocket costs over $1000. A lot of other places will waive some of the deductible if you have been going there for a while. Not these guys. If you are expecting Ann Steinfeld to take any part in your treatment think again. She spends her time trying to figure out how to grow the business rather than treat patients. I would not recommend this place as there are a lot of others that are more patient and less profit motivated. read more

Had a total knee replacement on February 18th of this year. After three weeks of inpatient physical therapy; there was no doubt in my mind which outpatient physical therapist I wanted to go to. I had 6 weeks of out patient therapy, 3 times a week with Melanie. She was great to work with, and I definitely felt a huge improvement in my mobility, range of motion and quad strength. I can't say enough about this office experience! The front staff is always welcoming and kind. The environment is joyful and encouraging. The staff are excellent and knowledgeable! My daughter originally brought us to the office with a gymnastics injury, and she was healed within just a few visits! We were thrilled! Due to my daughter's experience, I started treatment for my planter fasciitis, and discovered how to heal and strengthen during my visits.
