This place is a hidden gym. The owners are from Naples, Italy and the food they make is absolutely delicious. Their meatballs melt in your mouth. We had them cater my mom's 102nd birthday and they made food for 30 people we had baked ziti with sausage and baked ziti with cheese that was phenomenal. We had sausages and meatballs, eggplant, Parmesan, and garlic bread and everything was absolutely delicious. It just tasted homemade. Anna is a herb cook. I felt like I was back in Naples Italy. I highly recommend this restaurant and I'm a fusspot.

Stuffed shells. I haven't ate it yet, because I was so full from only half my chef salad

This is best place for pizza , desserts, wings salads, dinner entrees. I have to visit the dessert fridge every time I'm there.LOVE all the food I've tried. Salad so big i could only eat half . There are both nice.

    Small cheese pizza.

Let me explain about 5 stars. In NYC & North NJ it would be about 4 stars. Here in Delaware it's 5. For those two states it's all about the water for the crust. We ordered a small cheese pizza to eat there. They do not sell slices. It was worth it for 10 bucks. The owner (Mike) was making the pizzas while watching soccer. He appeared a bit grizzly at first but after we finished our pie he was a friendly "chatty cathy" with his thick Italian accent. The pizza had a relatively thin crust that had a nice crunch. It had a mild flavor & did not compete with the cheese & sauce; rather it did complement. The cheese had a silky smooth & non chewy melt. Not salty either. The tomato sauce was fresh & tasty; again complimenting the cheese & crust. I like to add a dash of pepper & garlic powder on my slice but the spices at the tables seemed old & not wiped down. The tables were clean. I think your best bet is to just get your food to go. Having been from NY I've eaten some excellent pizza and this truly does rank up there. We got some desserts to go & they were pretty good. It states they are homemade there by the Mrs. I got some cream puffs. They probably were slightly over done & may not have been just made but I think they have potential if made daily. My husband devoured his slice of cake. He inhaled it so fast I couldn't tell you what flavor it was. They have many baked goods for sale in the cooler as slices & cookies packaged at the counter. Mike told me he had pizza places in Bayonne NJ but then retired to Delaware. He opened this place with his wife Anna because they wanted something to do. It's become so popular he has to recruit his adult children to help out. It's worth the trip if you appreciate good NY style pizza. We live a few towns north but will definitely come back. I particularly like Strufolli so would like to get some over Christmas. Mangia!

    SO DELICIOUS!!

The great taste is so consistent from their pizza, pasta, all the way to their awesome cheesesteak!!! I can't get enough. It's my number one place for food. I always feel great after eating their food! I truly love this place!!!

Most authentic pizza to NY style in the state. It's a small little shop on the side of 13 but we'll worth the stop.

By far my favorite pizza. The crust is fantastic. Can't speak for the entire menu but their pizza is the best I've had.

Just average pizza. Not a fan of whatever they use for Italian sausage. Crust was good. Giacomo's is better. So is Grotto's.

BEWARE OUT OF TOWN CONSUMERS!!!…read more I ordered from this place on July 3rd, the food was good... fast forward to July 6th my mini wanted a repeat, we ordered pasta and I order the fish sandwich with fries. This order took place over the phone. I was asked what I wanted on the fish, I said whatever comes on it, the gentleman taking my order over the phone said oh you don't want anything on it, I said you don't put anything on the fish? I then said put cheese, tartar sauce and pickles on the fish. I asked for hot sauce on the side. The gentleman gave me my total and said my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived early, requested the pickles be put on the side as well, and then paid (I noticed the price changed. I was handed the receipt and saw I was charged $0.50 for each condiment that generally comes customary on a fish sandwich. The food was good but I hate establishments that nickel and dime patrons without clearly stating the specifics. *I was going to leave a stellar review for the place initially as the food was pretty good, after my visit on July 6th, my family and I will never dine here again when we are visiting in the area. As far as the ambiance, it's a "mom and pop" dinner set-up without the charisma, warmth and customer service of a "mom and pop" establishment.

Pomodoro Pizza is the most exclusive pizza of Bethany Beach with limited quantities prepared and yes... it is easily the best too!! With a focus on the order at hand, everything is authentically done, thoughtfully crafted, and well prepared. Simple and satsifying! We called in at eleven for a 6:00 pickup and were already the fifth order. They only take a single order per fifteen minute window, so it can be multiple hour long waits during the dinner window! We ordered a cheese, a pepperoni, a white with roasted peppers, and a pomodoro special (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, green peppers, mushroom, and onion). A true New York style pizza. The slices are huge. The toppings are thin. A folded bite is essential! The interior is just a small pickup counter, a cooler of soda bottles/cans, and a refrigerator of some off-menu salads and cannolis. The owners are so wonderful and will greet you warmly as you enter, but they do deal with a lot of complainers that are disappointed that they didn't plan in advance for their dinner pickup.

Upon entry the dining room was clean, bright and welcoming, huge plus! The male server did a great job and was very attentive to our needs. We tried the TRIO, spaghetti w/meatballs (husband's favorite anywhere) and were impressed with the freshness and flavors of our entrees, as well as the appetizers -calamari and crab- stuffed mushrooms- and fresh rolls they served with our salads. EVERYTHING was delicious and well-prepared! Overall we were very happy with the pleasant dining experience and knew we found our new go-to Italian place... Upon my second return with my daughter, being excited to share this place with her, there were inconsistencies from my first experience relating to service. The female server fell short of expectations and showed very little interest with our satisfaction and dining experience. However, before leaving the restaurant we were unexpectedly approached by the owner and after learning of our disappointment, was very apologetic and went above and beyond to accommodate us and made everything right. I was so pleased and impressed with his genuineness to leave us satisfied, as it has become less common from many establishments where customer satisfaction with service is not the focus. This place receives my highest recommendation and will continue to be our favored go-to Italian restaurant!!

He told me that "I was lucky it had any basil on it at all because they didn't have any!!!" What?! Shame on you! I explained that was very rude to tell me that and as a business owner, he should have better customer service and either explain that they ran out of basil, instead of leading customers to believe they are getting what they ordered. I further explained that he could've ran to one of the several nearby grocery stores and bought some! First and last time my extended family will frequent this place of business!
