The chopping of cheesesteaks could be heard from the moment I walked in until I left, and I ate in. I ordered a large cheesesteak with fried onions. Brought half home, it was pretty hefty. Meat had a great flavor, a good amount of cheese and just the right amount of grease. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that the roll was too soft. Walked in and the restaurant was a bit busy, lunch time crowd, seemed to be a good mix of locals and out of staters. Order was taken and wait for food was very short. My guest and I both had a small steak sandwich and fries. Steak was good! Plenty of meat, chopped style, roll was good. Fries were good as well. A cheesesteak with Scrapple. Scrapple made in DE. $15.75 but I got 4 meals out of this cheesesteak. Was it cumbersome to eat as it is? Yes but don't be ridiculous, take tupperware (or an extra roll). The roll was standard and could have been scooped. I wish it had a touch more cheese. It was flavorful. I was afraid it was going to be dry, it was not. The meat was a joy to eat. There are 4 two seater tables and chairs inside and picnic tables outside. We usually order cheesesteaks, burgers, and fries. The cheesesteaks are overflowing with meat and a large can be split between two people or you can easily have 2 meals out of it! Get a fork you will need it! The BEST cheesesteak I have ever eaten. The first time I tried it , I was blown away. They have milkshakes, a HUGE selection of bottled drinks (and a fountain soda machine too.) I was riding down the back roads to Dewey Beach. I needed a coffee and bathroom break. The woman who took my money for coffee called me honey. I love that since I'm always calling everyone darling (like Elvis) On the way out, I asked a customer how the egg sandwich was and he said he loves it. They even have a really nice van out back that they use to make deliveries. They also had outdoor tables as well as indoor seating. They also make their own sauces. Plenty of choices for food and drink. I will definitely make it a point to stop here and eat on my way down or make a trip just to eat here. Love mom and pop places as an alternative to the chain's. This is a hard review. Let me start by saying the flavor of the cheese steak is as good if not better then alot of the famous cheese steaks. That being said in my opinion little things like ranch dressing for the broccoli bites, ketchup for the FF, more cheese less steak, and a lower price would put this place over the top. YES I said less steak. There was enough steak I could of made another med sandwich out of my lg. I realize they have a limit local customer base that has to travel 20 mins for food,but the price of $50 for 2 subs and 2 appitizerisers is just a bit high for a everyday place to eat. We were traveling from Allentown Pa to Chincoteague Island Va and stopped by the area to take a few pictures of the sunrise. We wanted to stop somewhere for breakfast and passed by this little place. I was expecting to maybe grab a sandwich That was under one of those heat lamps like some little stores have. What we got was one of the most delicious fresh breakfasts I've ever had.
