We stayed at multiple hotels this week for college World Series and I can't express how nice it was to finally feel like we could relax and feel safe. The pool , hot tub and corn hole was amazing as well. Most Hotels we stayed at gave honeybuns for breakfast but Annabelle Gardens actually had biscuit and gravy and other stuff. The staff was so helpful and nice after stressing over trying to find a last minute hotel. This place was definitely more like home not a hotel and has earned our business from now on when we travel to Nebraska. Oh let me not forget to mention how comfortable the beds were because that's what we all really want to know. read more

This was such an adorable and cute spot to stay a night. I was here a few years back and forgot just how cool it was. I got in on Wednesday night around 5pm. The aroma of freshly baked cookies swept me off my feet and lured me in (even though that's where I was going anyways). They bake fresh cookies every Wednesday and I believe Thursday too between 4pm and 630pm for their patrons. The lady who checked me in was super chill. She was busy doing a million other things and checking people in and running in and out. She was very good at her job. After checking in, I went to my room. It can be a little hard to find. The number signage is pretty small but they gave me a map and I was able to find it. Each room has their own wifi. It's less hotel and more like a townhouse suite. You walk in and there's a small living room with a tv, a coffee table, and a loveseat. Across from it there's a kitchen - fridge, pantry, stove. I didn't cook here so not sure if it comes with pots and pans. As you move through the apartment, you enter the king size bed which also has a TV and a closet. In the back of my room, around the corner was the sink and then another door that led into the bathroom where the toilet and the shower is there. There is also a laundry machine and dryer. You must buy your own cleaning products however. Small bottles of lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. Bar soap and bar facial soap are provided. I was on the bottom floor. There was someone above me but I didn't hear them. There's a pool in the complex as well. They serve breakfast in the morning from 6am and 930am. Waffles, eggs, cheesy eggs, sausage patties, English muffins and gravy, some pastries and coffee tea. They have an ice cream machine, a slushy machine, and a cappuccino machine which are available 24/7. Bed was comfortable. Not cloud 9. I'd say the hardness level is about a medium. I have some back pain but I could easily sleep on it for a few days. There's a CVS, Walgreens, Best Buy and Buffalo Wings and Rings across the street. read more

Overall, a great hotel to stay it. It is unique in that it is more like a apartment complex that a traditional hotel (like a Holiday Inn). It's more cozy and homey. We stayed in a studio-type room, 2-queen beds, small kitchen, 1-bath. It was very clean. Bed was comfy. The employees were friendly and helpful. I like that smoothies & ice cream are available 24/7, and they make some fresh cookies from 4-6p. Nice touch! The grounds were well taken care of. So, it's a good place. I would stay again. I took one star away for two reasons: (1) we forgot a toothbrush, went to the desk and they made us pay $3.50 for a toothbrush. And it was a cheepy one too. That is a first. In my experience, hotels have always had an "essentials kit" for free, which included a toothbrush (not a nice one, but it was free, so you didn't mind). This was shocking! The other reason (2) the breakfast was mostly gross. Bland (no salt!). The eggs were obviously that nasty powder stuff (just use real eggs; it's not hard!). The instant-pancakes and waffles were puke-ish. The bagels & English muffins were obviously old and chewy, even after a good toast and putting on butter and cream cheese. The coffee was watered down. The only good part of breakfast was the bacon. The bacon was done excellent!! If they could elevate the rest of the breakfast to theat bacon standard, then it would be an incredible breakfast. So, again. I would stay again, but probably go elsewhere for breakfast -- find a nice breakfast place. read more

We found our new favorite place to stay on our way home to Indiana from Colorado. My kids and I loved the studio apartment feel. it was more like being at home than in a hotel. We had spent last weekend camping. It was nice to be able to get all of our laundry done in our room before getting home. The kids love the wide range of breakfast options in the morning. We got in when the pool was closing and they allowed us a late check out so the kids could swim before getting back on the road. If I could give this Hotel and their staff 10 I would. Recently attended a basketball tournament in Lincoln and decided to stay an extra day. The hotel I had, prior, didn't have any vacancies (in budget) so I decided to stay at Annabel Gardens. It was definitely an INTERESTING stay, so I'll break down the pros and cons. Pro- The lady at the front desk is amazing. She is extremely helpful in getting you checked in and is friendly as can be. She explains the perks of the hotel (from the continental breakfast times to how to operate the cable boxes). She is absolutely amazing. Pro- each room comes with its own kitchen and a semi modern decor. This includes pots for you to be able to cook on the stove, microwave, and even silverware. Our room had a very quaint red, white and black theme and even came with a record player. The room also came with several records as well as books, Strategically placed throughout the room. Pro- The continental breakfast was not bad at all. For the day that we were there, there were scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, apple juice, milk and even French toast/waffles that you have to make yourself (it takes two minutes). Con- The guy that works at the front desk is the complete opposite of the woman that works at the front desk. He is not customer friendly and is strictly a "in and out " kind of guy. He will definitely put you off towards staying here. Con- This hotel has more of an apartment type of feel, meaning that all of the rooms are only accessible from the outside (with two units upstairs and two units on the ground floor) and each pair of units share a common area (2 chairs and a table). This "common area" sits directly in front of the bedroom window. So imagine my surprise as I'm unpacking and look over my shoulder to see a stranger smoking a cigarette looking directly at me. I went to close the blinds, but they were broken and didn't help the situation. Con- Bugs! Yep, Bugs! I didn't notice, at first, until I laid across the bed and noticed a little greenish/brownish bug walking up the box spring. I killed him and went to take a shower, when I came back... another one was walking around the baseboard near the "patio door". I reached out to the front desk, no answer (which isn't their fault, as it was past 11pm). I mentioned the bugs, upon checking out, and Mr "in and out " stated, "Well you are leaving or else I'd give you some bug spray." Definitely, won't be back to this place. 2 stars for the lady at the front desk and the record player with records.... but all that bug business is a no bueno. Also worth noting, if you're traveling with someone with limited mobility... make sure you let this hotel know in advance (the upper units have a pretty steep set of steps) read more

I loved this place. What a pleasant surprise. It's not a 5 star hotel like a Ritz Carlton might be, but as a boutique style, independent place, we loved it. Imagine an apartment complex , with grass, cement walkways and nice individual apartments, with a sitting room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and outside sitting area. This is what you get at Annabel Gardens. I am on a road trip, and have stayed at less expensive national motel chains, medium to medium high priced hotel chains, and this is by far the best experience I have had thus far. It truly does feel more like an important than a motel. All this for a quite reasonable price as well. I am very happy that I took a break from my usual hotel chains, although I will be going back to them, but I am really glad I stepped outside my usual comfort zone. The young lady who checked me in the front desk was friendly and efficient, and when in my state of exhaustion I left my wallet in the lobby, she and her friend got it right to me in my room. Yes, it does suck getting old, especially at the end of a long day of driving. If you are in Lincoln Nebraska, look for Annabel Gardens - - I promise you will not be disappointed. read more

Someone on one of the other hotel websites claimed this hotel compares with some of the best he's been all over the world. (No way, he must've gotten a free room to say that. LOL) This is a nice place, though. If you're looking for a room in Lincoln NE. I like that hey have a kitchentte. From the pictures, I was expecting a more well manicured landscape - like the Cancer center next door. But I felt pretty safe in that area. Inside was nice with a fireplace, roll out couch, and pretty good total space. Mine came with a queen size bed, but there are other room plans. There was a decent morning hot breakfast - egg/sausage/potato casserole was the item of the day. There were muffins and pastries, cold cereals, fruit, juices, and Seattle Best Coffee, etc. I have two complaints: 1) You could hear a lot of what was going on upstairs if your room was on the lower floor. There were several kids running up and down until past midnight. The floor would squeak and thud when they jumped. When they slept, I finally could sleep and I am not a light sleeper by any means. 2) I wish there was wi-fi, and it would be great if it were free like Holiday Inns and other chains. The high speed plug was on the kitchen wall, so you have to sit on a barstool - very un-ergonomic. They had a nice desk and chair to sit in, but I didn't bring a 15' high speed cord. But I loved they are located across the street from a McDonald's, Applebees, Granite City Brew pub, and a BBQ place where the guys wore shirts that said "I Ate Ribs Naked at so and so (forgot the name of the place) but there were no women employees wearing that shirt. read more

I would recommend this place for sure . It is like a home away from home . Literally feels like your stepping into an apartment not a hotel. The couch pulls out to a bed in the living room. There's a kitchen with full fridge , coffee maker ( single serve ) , microwave , stove top with oven , some kitchen utensils, cups and plates , etc. There's no kitchen table but a counter with chairs. In our place there was a bedroom on the first floor with its own full bathroom . Walk up the stairs and you'll find another open loft style bedroom with its own full bathroom as well . There was a TV on each bedroom as well as the living room . Our unit was on the top end , but the majority of them have its own balcony . There is also a pool , basketball court and workout room . There were TONS of kids around but they didn't seem to make a lot of noise . I think some people use this place as a permanent or semi-permanent place to stay . It seemed like high school and college kids might stay there for camps or school etc. Tons of parking . Located off a main strip . Restaurants and shopping centers galore ! If you walk a little bit you'll find a park as well . read more

Book if you like bugs in your bed and horrible housekeeping. We had to book this place as a last resort because other options were already taken. It probably would have been better if we just camped out at a bus station than stay here. Our room was crawling with bugs and when we finally couldn't take it anymore I went to the front desk to complain and was offered bug spray. We just got back from a visit with family only to return to one bed made half-assed and the other not even touched. It's the kind of welcome that makes you quickly take inventory of your valuables. Aside from our personal problems the place is unremarkable at best and has that dingy, we've-been-open-too-long kind of feel. Very disappointing considering the price. read more

On August 3, 2017 we made a reservation with Chase Suites in Lincoln, Nebraska for the weekend of the solar eclipse. We were thrilled because they only charged us the regular room rate (instead of jacking the price up to some exorbitant rate like the other hotels in the area). Well, on August 14, 2017, they notified us that they had canceled our reservation because they had overbooked the rooms. Seriously!?! 11 days after we made the reservation, they just now realized they had overbooked? Really???? Or, was it simply that they realized they could be charging triple the price of their rooms for that weekend, so it was just 'convenient' for them to kick us out of our reservation and then give our room to someone else at the higher rate!!! That is a disgraceful way to conduct business Chase Suites!!! read more

Staff is rude. Rooms aren't very clean, especially bar stool type chairs around the Island counter. The tissue box is always almost empty as well as paper towel roll in kitchen which means the housekeeping staff is lazy. This hotel used to be nice but has just become run down these last couple years. When I first started staying here around 2012, there was always extra toilet paper, paper towels and tissue in the cabinets. Now it's just plain neglected by staff and management. read more

Where do I start.. upon first arriving, we thought the place was great, but after 3 days in, our air conditioning went out. We spoke with the front desk on 3 different occasions to get the issue resolved. Finally between 8-9pm that evening, someone came to look at the unit. They didn't have the part to fix it, and wouldn't until the next day. Our room, which was a 2 bedroom suite, on the 2nd floor, was about 85° on the main floor, and the second floor loft, was closer to 90°. I'm the meantime, front desk told us to open the window, and it would cool down, well, there were no screens in the windows, and it was storming, so we opened one window, and of course rain was coming in, so that didn't work. Finally, after 2 1/2 days of sweltering temps, they fixed the unit. We had asked to speak with management about the issue 3 different times, as well as upon checkout, and we never heard a word from them. The person at the front desk gave us $20 off of a seven day, $1600.00 stay, and said management would contact us to resolve the issue. Well, that never happened!! read more

This is the 2nd to the worst hotel in Lincoln, I've stayed here since July of 2015 and its December 2015 and I'm still here, we pay $1,400 a month here to be talked to like a dog, one of the employees at the front desk, if I remember correctly his name is Steve, he was horrible! House keeping here doesn't speak English, they will walk in on you after you tell them to wait, they don't care if you have clothes on or not, the beds are okay, the the room is extremely overpriced, if you plan on staying for a night this might be okay, but I wouldn't stay any longer than that. read more

Rooms are accessed from the outside rather than a hallway of connected rooms. Monday thru Thursday there is a managers happy hour with free apps and beer/wine for guests. Free breakfast everyday. My company put me up in the Chase Suites for 8 nights while I was in town. My room was super clean. And warm! The noise from area rooms did carry, so be aware of that. Horrible experience this morning, we were late for breakfast and clerk behind the desk was obvoiuosly annoyed and how she responded was possibly worst customer service ever. I even asked her at one point to please stop and she just kept getting angry over the fact we were past breakfast hours. Really enjoyed my stay here, very nice fully equipped mini apartments and great price. Agree with some people that front desk people could be friendlier/more customer oriented, hence, took off one star but will still definitely stay here regularly. The cleaning staff did an amazing job and maintenance was fast when TV wasn't quite working. This place has been a real gem. The room is spacious, with a nice couch, and a full kitchen. The bed is comfy, and the shower is hot. These are the basic things I look for and they're all good. The *biggest* asset is the people. I stayed here for a family emergency, and they have been absolutely wonderful in shuttling me around to the hospital and back, and even to pick me up after an errand. They are friendly and humane, and that means so much when you are staying somewhere away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Cloverleaf! read more

I normally stay in cheap motels, but $20 more than the cheapies got me this motel, plus an extra bed. And, purchase at the counter saved me $40 from the Orbitz price! PROS Full kitchen with dishes & dishwasher, fireplace & LCD in living room, super comfortable beds, happy hour with free alcohol & munchies, hot breakfast, wifi, pool, basketball half-court, patio area. The rooms are set up like quadplexes, so it feels more like a house than a motel. With a 11-month old crawling everywhere, I was worried about floor space & floor cleanliness, but the place was super clean & I had no worries. Office has any/all things you may need or have forgotten. Bathroom has lots of towels & large(er) bottles of shampoo than other places, plus the normal lotions & soaps. CONS I had a ground-level room (which has more space), & other guests kept looking in - no fault of staff/motel. Sidewalks are a little rough on the stroller, but things are in walking distance, so stroller is not necessary. Guests seem to park in as many parking spots as they please. CONCLUSION I am very picky about where I pay to sleep. For the cost, comfort, cleanliness, & service, I will certainly take my family here again! read more

Not sure the reviewers with positive reviews stayed in the same hotel as us. The only positive was the two great girls working the counter and the manager that allowed us to leave without paying after not staying. We walked into the room and saw the 1980 decor, torn carpet, paint chipping on the ceiling and toilets that were old and stained. The beds were so lumpy we would never have been able to sleep and there was a creepy dude smoking right outside our room. The upstairs room was about 90 degrees with no thermostat. The desk was nice enough to show us another room but it was just as bad. Very nice staff. Someone needs to invest some money in these rooms and they could be decent. Ran to Courtyard and had a great nights sleep for less expensive. Ugh! read more

Absolutely terrible terrible service! For a hotel marketed as pet-friendly they are the worst. Booked online through their mobile site and prepaid when I showed up they charged me a $75 non refundable pet fee in addition to a $250 refundable deposit in addition to the $90 I had prepaid. When I told them I wanted to cancel I was told there would be no refund because I had prepaid. Nowhere on their mobile site do is mention this policy. I was forced to either pay them an additional $75 or lose my initial room cost and go somewhere else. Employees/manager did not care one bit just wrote down corporate's number and sent me on my way. read more

Like someone else said... TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! It looks like a set of apartments that were converted to a budget suites hotel (and hotel isn't even the right word) Laquinta INN is a 5 star place compared to this place. When I checked in, I was asked to sign an agreement about not making noise and banging and being loud (which I have never seen before but LOVED that they were making guests sign this) I asked what happens if someone violates this? The lady told me that they kick the people out and have done it before with groups that have been loud. I said that's wonderful because I tend to always get that family or local event of kids that are around and make tons of noise running up and down the hallways and stuff (although this place has no hallways because they are like apartments and you have to go to the apartment building you're in and find your room #) So I finish checking in, and I goto my room and within 30 min of being in the room there is a LOT of noise upstairs. I thought maybe there was some late cleaning from the staff or something because I could hear furniture moving, vacuuming, loud banging, dragging, heavy heavy walking etc. So no problem. I goto dinner and come back and it's like 7 pm now and most of the sound is still there. So I TRY to ignore it but after an hour I call the front desk and ask what's going on? Is there remodeling or something?? She said no it was a family who had a house fire and stuff. UMMM OK.. so she said she will call them upstairs and see what's going on. During the night it did eventually stop and then by early morning allll the sounds were back again. I called the desk again and complained and she said they will be here for the month (same as me) and I said I want another room right away. She asked if I wanted an upstairs I said fine. I went to the desk to get my new key and commented about why they don't do a damm thing about someone with all the noise ESPECIALLY since I signed a very specific form about not making noise and even asked what happens if it occurs. I don't remember reading that a family is exempt from this situation. I was PISSED!!! and the guy at the desk could've cared less and had no comment for me. So let's move on to other things. The room is clean but VERY basic, The tv is a flat screen but an old model and VERY small and you can't even see it from the bed. The furniture is very uncomfortable as well. The kitchen area is fine. The breakfast is HORRIBLE too. Thank goodness my plans for work changed and I didn't have to stay as long as originally planned. Even my boss apologized and offered to switch me and knew that the place wasn't very good but offered to switch me to a place that's better but further away. Would I recommend this place HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and btw don't judge this place by the few pictures you see here or on their own webpage. The pics look better then what you really walk into. read more
