My first bite was like that's not dry at all and the beef has a nice beef flavor. The bun was a perfect bun because it was a softer style and not the dry dense kind but hearty enough not to fall fall apart from all that beef. I didn't even bother asking for rare with the young cooks but it was cooked about medium with some pink left in the middle. The toppings were fresh but the onions were super thin sliced and soft, I would have asked for extra had I have known. I'm impressed that a small drive in takes the burgers seriously and uses top quality ingredients.
