Stopped here while passing through and was pleased to find this place. Amazing, vibrant cafe with great tasting made from scratch food. There is made from scratch breads and baked goods available for purchase. I had the Louisville chicken salad on the hearty Dakota bread. It was delicious! Came to Beaver Dam for the 2nd annual Peony and Arts festival. It was lovely to find a bright and welcoming patio. They closed at 3 pm on Sunday and we got a sandwich and a couple of drinks. I'm disappointed they didn't even have matcha on the menu as I'm not a coffee or hot chocolate person. Friendly staffs and nice decorations. read more

Stopped in this awesome (and un reviewed) place on a friends request. The atmosphere was casual and eclectic. There was plenty of seating indoors and out. Lots of art covered the walls of the out doors covered patio. The kitchen was open and clean. There were tons of options for breads, coffees, and meals. We had the biscuits. I had the classic bacon biscuit with avocado (pictured). I was a little concerned that the serving size was going to be small since the price was under $6. However, the biscuit was large and fully loaded. Perfect size for a late morning/early afternoon meal. Their lunch sandwiches looked large and delicious too! My friend says she loves their ice coffee, but I didn't get to try it (already met my caffeine quota for the morning). Can't wait to try more menu items! read more

On my last visit I noticed the cashier was handling money and the bread loaves while wearing gloves. Store staff not only didn't start, but were argumentative about starting after we arrived, citing only a 30 minute guarantee for online ordering. They weren't busy, but clearly preferred to sit and look at us than make our order. After some urging, they start the order, only to realize they don't have everything we ordered. Refund? This place is my guilty pleasure and I've never been disappointed with anything that I've tried. I usually get what they call a "goodie", which is one of their sweet treats, and all have been very good. The scones are delicious, with the maple oatmeal with a drizzle on it being my favorite. The pumpkin bar is amazing!. SO GOOD! It's a must try! But now I'm having a hard time picking which bar is my favorite because today I had a banana bar and it was divine. The cream cheese frosting that they put on those bars (and cinnamon rolls) is the best ever. It doesn't taste fake at all and the flavor is subtle but you can definitely tell it has cream cheese in it. Its the best cream cheese frosting I've ever had. I could put it on a piece of bread and it would be good! The staff are always friendly and polite. You can tell that everyone strives to make really good products. Their coffee is great! I typically get a mocha decaf with oat milk and the taste is always consistent. The items that they have for sale are presented nicely and the whole atmosphere is eclectic but still homey. The breads that I've tried are white and cinnamon chip and both were very good. The sandwiches are great. My husband usually gets the bacon biscuit and says that its the best sandwich biscuit he's ever had. This place as a whole is really something else.
