I have been to well over a dozen dentists in my lifetime; most ok, some horrible. I have always had bad teeth, no matter how well I take care of them, so I am in his office more often than a normal patient. Dr. Ritter has the BEST bedside manner of any dentist I have ever met! He always explains things thoroughly, takes his time, and constantly checks to make sure you are comfortable during procedures. His staff is consistently kind and professional and the office is always clean and organized. I had a lot of questions about what I was seeing in the X-rays and the answers weren't satisfactory; he was pushy and against my better judgement I let him drill the one (I had never previously had a cavity). This caused a lot of anxiety and hadn't been to the back to the dentist since until today. As for the 5-6 others, it has been 8yrs, I finally just went back. I have only 1 small cavity now that just started to form. Get a copy of your X rays and get a second opinion. There are online services that do that now.
