We took our dog there for the first time and was not very pleased with the service. We took him in for a bath, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and teeth brushed. we were told who would be the groomer and as we got into the car to leave, his groomer walked out and drove off in her car. They kept him for 4 hours. When we picked him up, he was very happy and his coat soft and very shiny. When we got him home, I noticed they did not clean his ears, so I wonder if they even brushed his teeth. They clipped his nails and did not grind smooth or round out nail tips, they just left them straight and with sharp edges. They charged us more than the dog groomer in Pasadena, CA and they did less. Needless to say, our dog will never return there. We just can't trust what they will do. I would not recommend Anna's Doghouse. read more

We took our old Bichon Frise here and she was always cut well, for far less than I was paying to get her groomed where we lived before we moved to the area. They were nice and gentle with her in her old age. We now have some sort of Shih Tzu mix (he was adopted as an adult and didn't come with pedigree) and he always looks great when he comes home. He's got issues with his ears and needs his ears plucked, which they do, but you have to ask for it. (If you don't want your dog's ears plucked, you don't have to worry about them doing it.) They're good about adjusting things like how tails and ears are cut to your preference while still keeping the breed "look". There's never been a bad experience here. Plan ahead if you want an appointment near a holiday, as those are busier times for them. read more

We've been bringing our miniature poodle here for grooming for about a year. She always comes out looking great. They are efficient, too. Our dog is never sitting around all day. She's usually ready in 2-3 hours. In addition, walking into Anna's is a sensory experience- there are lots of candles, and it smells more like a bakery than a business full of dogs! We take our Shi-Tzu (15lbs, Shi-Tzu hair) and our Pyrenees (80lbs, tons of hair) mutt to this place! Our animals get dropped off in the early morning and picked up whenever they're ready. They never come home stressed out or upset. We have been going here for 3-4 years. They helped us manage our Shi-Tzu's skin rash and gave recommendations on the best shampoos to sort the problem out. With grooming, their medicated baths, and at home gentle washes, the rash disappeared completely. They know dogs! He is a happy little pooch and runs to the car whenever we tell him it's time to get groomed. Our big dog gets a little overly excited when she's up for grooming. I brought them a small bag of treats the last time and showed them how we get her to pay attention and not wiggle around like a maniac while they groomed her. She was all wiggles and smiles on her way home and her fur was soft and shiny. We don't take our dogs anywhere else. We have never had a nipped nail, bad groom, rash as a result of grooming, stressed out animal because of grooming. Neither dog has ever been nicked. And our dogs have always gotten the best hair cuts for them, or with advice, the hair cut or style they needed the most (in our Shi-Tzu's case, he gets a mo-hawk for style points). The staff will work with you to address grooming needs and if you have any questions they always answer. Very knowledgeable people who seem to really love animals and enjoy their work. Great pricing. There is also a very relaxed cat who lives in the building. read more

My dog Luna is shy and skittish and sometimes leaving her alone, especially in a new place, can be stressful but when I picked her up she was in fantastic spirits! This is a huge testament to me that she was treated with patience and love - and she looks beautiful! We have been super pleased with Anna's Dog House. My mini goldendoodle has been twice to get groomed, and they've done a wonderful job both times. They made him feel very comfortable, and were able to trim and remove matting in a way that would avoid shaving, which can be tough with this breed. He looks and feels great after every groom. Just picked up my dog Lou from here and could not be happier! Lou is notoriously dramatic and I was nervous he would be a handful but the groomer said he did great. I was told 3-4 hours but he was done in an hour and a half which was amazing. He looks absolutely incredible and has newfound confidence! He hasn't stopped smiling since I picked him up. I have taken my dog here twice the first time she was so cute and we were excited to take her back for her second appointment. Upon dropping her off they informed us they were so busy that day. Red flag #1. A few hours later I get a call from the receptionist who was quite possibly the rudest woman I have ever spoken to informing me my dog was matted and that they would have to shave her almost bald. I have a wheaten and she has been shaved before, I know when she is so matted she needs a shave, and this was not the case. We went back and forth and the receptionist was being the interpreter for the groomer who I could clearly hear talking in the background (not sure why she couldn't get on the phone herself). All in all, I would have been fine with the shave had they at least been nice about it but my options were quite rudely laid out for me either they shave her or I pick her up. SO rude. I do not know how these people stay in business being as rude as they are. Groomers are a dime a dozen, my advice, take your fur baby somewhere else. I have been nice enough to give two stars because the initial groom was good but they probably deserve one. read more

I recently had my two Shih Tzu's groomed at this establishment. They were told to leave the ears and tails on both dogs alone. However when we picked them up the younger dog had her ears chopped up it looked they were hacked up with a scissor!. I spoke with the owner and she claimed that the ears were matted.....not so, since they were both brushed the day before the appt. Owner stated that the next time they come in we would have better communication.....on our receipt from them it says "leave tail and ears alone", don't know what could be changed to improve "better communication"?? There won't be a next time! I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

I started taking my little pooch here after a terrible experience at petsmart. I spent my time researching places to take her, and stumbled across this place. I decided to give it a chance, and the results were amazing. My dog has never looked better! She came back looking like a princess, and she had a big smile on her face. The price is also amazing, it is much cheaper than petsmart, and you get better results. Whenever we pull up to the front of the shop, my dog gets excited and pulls to the entrance. The people are so friendly to all their customers, and have a great attitude. If you are looking for a place to groom your dog I highly recommend Anna's Doghouse. You won't regret it! read more

Just brought my dog here for the first time. Wasn't happy with my previous groomer so thought I'd try somewhere new. Friendly staff and Anna did a great job on my dog. Did exactly what I asked and my dog smelled great! Even my kids commented on how great she smelled. The staff was attentive and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable and FAIR. They gave a little care package when we left and I was given a $1 cash discount! I will be back!! BTW...
