My 92 year-old mother hired them to shave her cat and trim her nails. Her cat has very long hair and it gets matted. When the girl came, I talked to her about it and said I didn't want her shaved completely bald to do it like the next little level up? She brought me back a cat who had had a bath. It was about $186 for her to give my cat a bath. When I questioned her about it, she said she Fought the cat had been through too much and she did not advise working on her again so soon. When I complained, they offered to have the same person come the next morning. That person had told me not to do it so soon. And I had also just complained about her so I wasn't comfortable with her handling the cat. They are now refusing to refund her money. We were willing to pay for the convenience, but all this has been is a hassle and I now have to make another grooming appointment somewhere else. Don't use them. Oh my gosh, I had my dog groomer my four pretty paws. And the first time they said I wasn't home. I was home but they didn't ring the door bell. Cost me $125.00. The second time my dog was groomed for $125.99 And I tipped around $25.00. I received a text asking for a review. Well my dog. Was hacked like a custom cuts hack. And for this money, you'd expect a rockstar Grooming. I know it's only a dog, but he was literally hacked and it took a month to grow out again. Then I took him to Lola And Ponelopies today. He now looks like a male dog model. I hardly recognized him when he came out because he looked like a pure border terrier like you'd see on a puppy brochure. When I had him groomed with four, Pretty Paws, I was asked to give them a review. I did and the owner called me and literally argued with me about my review and was extremely derogatory. I hung up and he actually called back to argue again and I didn't answer. This is why I decided to write this review if you're interested in for Pretty Paws for three times the cost of good luck. It's a waste of money for a hack Haircut for your beautiful dog or cat or squirrel or rat. The best to share with you a $50 Grooming versus $125 Grooming and a much better quality for $50 at Lola And Ponelopies in Clayton or in town and country. I was hesitant to share the secret with you because it's tough to get an appointment there. If you want to get lazy and do for Pretty Paws go for it but expect a heck job. oh legally, this is only my opinion. read more

I love the convenience of the groomer coming to my house. I am able to schedule the appointment on their website. I am able to pick which type of service I need (type of bath, amount of grooming, and what type of dog). The prices on the website are very transparent and the quotes have been accurate for my grooming appointments. Communication before the appointment has been fantastic. I immediately receive a confirmation email when I book online. A few days before the appt, I received a confirmation email and text message. The morning of the appt, I received a text from my groomer. In the event they are running late, I have received notification with ETA. When the groomer arrived, we discussed what type of cut was desired plus any issues my dog might have. My most recent groomer was Sarah. We met outside my house masked up and talked for a few minutes before they scooped up my dog into the van. My appt was a little over an hour. Compared to leaving my dog at a traditional groomer all day, this was amazing! And compared to me washing and drying my dog myself, soooo much faster. I will gladly pay a premium to avoid driving to and from a groomer twice in a day. I had accidently typed in my address wrong when scheduling the appt. Because of the type of calendar invite, I was able to update the address on my side and they were able to see the change. I also called and left a message to clarify the address as well. Only downside: they are booking months in advance. My most recent appt was scheduled in Jan and the earliest appt was in mid-March. If you need a groom, make that appt early. They have a very generous cancellation policy: they just need 24 hours advance notice for no charge. read more

We have used Four Pretty Paws for the last couple years. I wish I had found them earlier. Our dogs are 14 & 15 so they are not into getting stuck for 4+ hours at a grooming salon with a bunch of other dogs sitting in a crate. We have been happy with every groomer we had and this last time was the best. I believe her name was Stacy. You could not do a better job than what she did for both our dogs. I think we've had maybe 5-6 different groomers and ever one of them was competent and very friendly. The whole process takes maybe two hours to get both dogs done (one at a time) and we don't have to leave the house. I WOULD highly recommend this company but I really don't want everyone to discover them. I'll never get an appointment! read more

Their level of customer service is extremely lacking. I had used them several times in past with my last dog. I had an appointment scheduled back in 2021 and the groomer never showed up, I called that day and left a voicemail as it's almost impossible to speak to someone when you call. 3 days later they called me back and said I was a no call no show, I told them that nobody stop by the house or called. I was told they tried calling both numbers which didn't make any sense, then I told them I'll show them the video and they said that's ok, but since I was a no call no show all future appointments were canceled. Fast forward as I tried to get a schedule for my new pup and again no answer you have to text and I was told that due to a no call in 2021 I had to pay for the appointment and I asked so I can't book an appointment and no reply. I generally love writing reviews because I think it is so important for hard work and dedication to be recognized. It with disappointment and discouragement that I write this one. At the beginning of the month I set up an appointment with Four Pretty Paws for my doodle. Now mind you, my family all have doodles and I am aware of the maintenance they need in accord to grooming. I have a male Aussie-doodle less than 1 yr old that was no doubt in need and was no doubt somewhat matted as he is a frolicker in the yard. Long story short I was well aware that he would have needed to be cut short. Unfortunately that's were everything must have gone wrong. I did call and speak to the company before scheduling to make sure they were trained in grooming of doodles and was assure they are. My poor dog is miserable but hopefully in the mends. I have used this grooming service for several years without any problems,however our most recent appointment was just awful. I had my cat Dusty groomed, his sanitary area and paws with a dry shampoo. Dusty is very shy and hides for a few days after grooming when he comes out of hiding I check him over. When I contacted them it was passed the 48-hour window for concerns however I did not receive a response from them for 2 weeks after I contacted them for the second time. I was told they couldn't tell anything by this picture. I do not understand how a professional Groomer can not tell by this picture that this is not a recently groomed cat. read more

I wish I had seen Mary Ann's review before I subjected my dog and pocket book to the the mugging Four Pretty Paws did on us. First off, their pricing is NOT clearly marked because they or the groomer just started making up things to charge for once they got to us. I knew that my dog cut would be $105 (It was on the website). That was no problem. Except, they charged me $130 (I don't know why and couldn't ask because I was told that the office would be closed the following day) even though I told the groomer to leave him longer because he was having pictures taken this weekend. She didn't listen clearly because my dog is NOT getting photographed this weekend because he got shaved the heck down. I had to cancel the photos. Did I also mention that she nicked my dog too. That would have been fine. I get that those things happen, especially when you are working with a moving target like a traumatized dog. She sent me a picture of the nick, but she didn't bother to let me know when my dog suddenly got mouthy. Bites, I take that serious folks. (My dog has never to my knowledge ever bitten anyone and no one has ever told me he has. He is a therapy dog at more than one place where that behavior would never be tolerated and he would be out on his ass if he did and yes, I am a helicopter Tiger mom to my dog.) I would of insisted she stop the grooming then and there, but she never picked up the phone or stuck her head out of the van to let me know. Instead she removed the muzzle he had on because he was barking big time. So when exactly did he attempt to bite you? When he had the muzzle on or when you removed it "because I just don't like using those things". That was a direct quote from the groomer. Oh and why didn't you alert me to the fact that this mayhem was going on? I was 12 feet away from you. I told the staff at the office when trying to set up the appointment that my dog has gotten stressed (shakes all over) when getting groomed in the past. I was told the groomer would bail out of the appointment if my dog would get scared. Know what didn't happen? Groomer, didn't bail out when she was suppose to. They slipped in $75.00 of extra fees in at the last moment because it was 5pm and the office was already closed. The most ludicrous of these fees was for my dog pooping on the table ($10) while getting groomed. Correct me if I am wrong, but dogs by nature do that, right. Yet, it gets better. This is where the $25 aggressive dog fee comes in. The one where the groomer stated she did or didn't muzzle my dog and still got bit. Yeah, that one that I didn't know about until it was time to pay. Don't be taken advantage of like I was. Just avoid them. They got me for $217 for the grooming and tip. Yes, I tipped her because she had the tip already set up for 20%. Did she not think I would notice? I tipped her mainly to get her the hell out of my house. I was finally mad and just wanted the nightmare to end. So in conclusion, $105 Cut, $10 Spiffy Special Shampoo and a $35 Get Outta My House Not A Tip--$150.00 Total, but they charged me $217.00. SHADY pricing and wishy washy communication in explaining the price and then changing it at the 12th hour. Clear bait and switch folks. read more

We have an elderly dog that is blind and not very mobile. She cannot stand for long periods of time and no groomers would take her. This company had no hesitation and made a quick appointment. When the groomer arrived she took the time to get the information as well as familiarize herself with the dog. She did a terrific job and our "old lady" is much more comfortable. This was the first grooming for our 1.5 year old Golden Retriever Loki, I received pictures during his cut to show how he was doing and could not be happier with the outcome. Our groomer Kenzie was very polite and reassuring that he was in good hands, and he definitely was. He can be a handful at times but received texts that he was an absolute champ. My dog was cut a bit on the side and Nails were long still etc. I gave them another try because mobile pets grooming is convenient for me. Had 3 dogs that had appointments and all my appointment times were incorrect. Come to find out, after the appointment mess I called and canceled all 3 dogs because I decide I will not be using this company anymore. He had the nerves to call me back and ask for money!!!!!! No! I am sorry to say we have been using four pretty paws for almost a year now and we have been overwhelmed with the quality of groomer they sent to us from the get go her name is Maggie and she was the greatest but for reasons unknown she has parted ways with them so we were unsure to continue but they assured me they had just as good if not better groomers so we agreed to an appointment they sent out Ashley this lady rushed through our dogs hacked the haircuts up and I am not sure she gave them a bath cause they didn't have that clean smell to them so I really hate to say but they might have lost their best groomer read more
