There have been several times where the owner has come around to say hello during one of my services I love the Davines products they sell (I think this might be the only place in Tucson where you can buy it!) highly recommend the Oi all in one milk. I brought pictures, described how I wanted it cut and the shape I was after. No one made sure I was understood. Young Sarah, sweetheart, told me she would dry cut it. I objected. She talked me into it and started cutting 4" long pieces out Willy nilly. After seeing the first section all frizzy, I tried to stop it but was talked back into it. Emma, the owner in the other chair, interrupted her own client's haircut to chew me out for asking for what I wanted, even telling me to cut my own hair if I didn't like it! Sarah, now embarrassed for me, assured me it would come out right. Although shape is better it's not what I wanted. I asked to keep all the length and let NG layers blended at the bottom--a no brainer. It's shorter overall by 2 inches, have frizz where there should be gentle layers, it's uneven--but I am okay with the cut. It's just not what I wanted or asked for. I will have to grow it out for months before it can be cut properly. Sarah actually can cut hair (her way) and did give me a somewhat workable cut that looks cute after I finesse it with heat tools- trying to hide that frizz and unevenness.
