After the initial color application produced little change, additional toner was applied for approximately 40 minutes. The result was bright pink hair, followed by a second correction attempt that left my roots bright orange. As a teacher with a strict professional dress code, these results were not wearable for work. When I contacted the salon the next day seeking a correction, I was told I would need to pay an additional $40 for product to fix the color. I did not feel I should be charged to correct a result that was not what I requested. After requesting to speak with the owner, I was informed the salon had decided to "part ways" with me and offered a $40 refund on my $250 service. The disappointing color result was frustrating, but the lack of accountability and customer service afterward was even more disappointing. I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience. read more

I have been a guest with The Studio for many years. I have been following my hair dresser since 2009 and I love her! I love the salon's new location on the sunshine mile. When I walk in I am always greeted with a smile and acknowledge by name. I have been on the fence on staying grey and staying natural since October but recently...like last night, ha ha said nope I am not ready. I came in and decided I want to go back to my color and hide my roots along with adding some highlights. Let me say, my spirits have been lifted 110%! When I arrived, the owner offered me a beverage and Kazie welcomed me with ice water and a warm greeting! I settled into the chair, and the consultation began. I shared that I was looking for long layers, she asked if I was a style girlie or a wash & wear chica. We discussed hair texture and scalp health. She twice confirmed the type of haircut I wanted. Then, off for shampoos! She started with a scalp treatment that felt like tiger balm to the brain. It was great (and is optional). I got a duo of washes, light temple massage and back to the chair for the cut. Kazie is chatty, very friendly, and incredibly upbeat. I had a lovely time in her chair!
