I've been going to All About Me Salon for about three years, and unfortunately my most recent visit will be my last. I was originally scheduled with my usual stylist, but the salon called to say she had left and they would be assigning me to someone new. I ended up with Robin, and I was extremely disappointed with the service. I asked for a simple trim, but she cut off at least four inches of my hair. This has been a recurring issue at this salon--stylists seem to leave frequently, and I rarely get the same person twice. After this experience, I no longer feel confident returning. read more

I decided to get a cut on a whim while in town and after an hour of browsing nearby salons and availability and prices this place won. I liked that I was able to see availability and cost online (major bonus especially since I was browsing before places were open). I booked with Robyn and it was $51. I let her know exactly what I was looking for and she took time up front to ask the right questions. I wanted to keep my length so I appreciated that she started cutting just a little less than I wanted and checked in with me along the way. Once my cut was done, I did let her know I wanted the style a little straighter and she happily helped out to smooth out the curl from the blowout. I really appreciated it, but at the end of the day the goal is to walk out happy and be able to give 5 stars,right? I'm not local but I would recommend or visit again if the opportunity came up. Good Vibe. First time in. Arely was a really friendly stylist and she consulted with another girl doing the color in my hair, which I appreciate. My hair is quite thin and I think she did a really good job texturizing and cutting. But for me, the verdict is still out as I need to see if my hair cut and color last as long as I'm used to. Parking is a bit of a pain as it is downtown but if you're up for it, it is doable. I will certainly do an update as I will give them another go. read more

I was a model for a spray tan today with Bre. When you walk in there are two glass doors to either side of you. I checked in to the right then was sent to the left spa waiting area after giving the receptionist my name. Bre was very sweet and professional. While we waited for the other technician to finish up with her spray tan, Bre sat and chatted with me. Once the room was available she quickly got it cleaned and set up for me. Bre did a great job communicating with me throughout the service. She offered me disposable underwear and a hairnet to avoid getting product on my hair and clothing. Checking out was also very quick. The salon is beautiful, clean & spacious! I highly recommend them for you beauty needs! They have a full service hair salon, they offer skin treatments , spray tans and even lash extensions! read more

Very unprofessional and their work is negligible at best. The owner Tracy is rude, classless and extremely unprofessional. They messed up on my my daughter's hair and she (Tracy) denied it all. Then Tracy picked a fight with me over not having chargers in her salon, because other people steal them?! I don't work for her (Tracy) and I didn't steal them, I was a high residual paying customer! I recorded the whole conversation, so I really hope she (Tracy) challenges this! Furthermore, the turn over on her (Tracy) staff is quicker than my three week break between appointments. Don't go here unless you want to look like a clown, be insulted and then pestered to pay for it; all while not sustaining the same hair stylist or style for that matter! read more

VAIL LOCATION REVIEW My satisfaction with my hair is a 2 or 3 but the girls at this location were so nice I can't make myself give that low of a review. I was at the salon for 3.5 hours for a partial highlight and cut. The color ended up much lighter than I wanted and my stylist needed several other stylists to come check the gloss she used after she realized she went too light with (I get that everyone has to start somewhere, but it's concerning when you realize your stylist isn't as experienced as you thought!). The cut is uneven (longer on the left side of photo and some wispy super long pieces) and the color is about 1/2 inch from my roots, which makes it look like it's already time to get my hair done again. I left feeling disappointed - but thankfully hair is easy to change! read more

If you go, Pack breakfast and lunch! Spent 4 hours and my stylist could not say when I would be done with my appointment. After 4 hours I had to leave as it was looking like I would be there another 2 hours. My hair is not long, in fact it's above my shoulders and it took 4 hours to color and highlight. The stylist was painfully slow and overbooked. I'm ok with quality and focus however if you're slow, then don't over book and let your client know you will be there for several hours. Could not consider having her cut my hair so I left. When I paid the receptionist could not figure out the math for the tip. Seriously, if you can't figure out 10%, 15% etc. you need to practice basic math. First time and last time going there. Not impressed at all. read more

I love this place! So warm and cozy. The downtown location is lovely with a city vibe and the vail location just sits amongst the beautiful landscape of AZ. She did an amazing job making it look natural. She was thorough with our preservice consultation and went through plenty of options on how to eliminate the orange tones in my hair. I went to this salon in December 29th, 2020 for my birthday in January. My hair turned out amazing and it was done by Brittany who is no longer there. I went again recently on December 10th. I wanted a hair cut with a perm. When I made my appointment I had told them, one my hair takes a long time, which it did. Last time it took 8 hours to do and it turned out beautiful. This time it took less the time and turned out a mess, the curls constantly were wrapped and rewrapped, sectioned in large pieces and I feel just not done right after my first perm, which is not my first perm done by first one done there. I wanted tiny curls there for you take very very small sections which was not done. My hair turned out less curly then when I went in. I wanted a full refund. I called several times. Waited forever for a manager to call and yet still nothing until later in the week. The manager had been out for a personal issue which no one told me, of course I could understand that. I feel that this was handled incredibly unprofessional. On top of my messed up hair. I was charged for shampoo I didn't buy, had to wait almost 1 week for that refund, and got charged again for it when the refund was done accidentally making my return twice what it was before. Then my whole total I had to wait for my refund and still am waiting. They forgot to include my deposit which went towards my hair, and made me still pay for my hair cut which I understand, but I feel that this was handled unprofessionally. In the end it's been more than a week and I'm still waiting for my full refund. And with perms you can't just get them redone you have to wait months. And I'm not ever going back after this situation. Maybe I would if it was handled differently but not after this. read more

Kaylana is the best hair colorist and stylist ever! I have been going to her for over one year and I'm so glad I found her. Her work is as far from supercuts as I could ever imagine!!! She does wild, professional and all looks in between with amazing talent and grace. She can follow instructions if you have something specific in mind, but is also great at giving advice and being creative (within your parameters) when requested. If she ever moves, I would seriously follow her anywhere! She is incredibly friendly, professional and really takes her time with each and every client, making you feel very special. She is also really good at waxing eyebrows! She hides any asymmetry with serious talent. ;) The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating too - they always offer water and/or coffee as soon as you enter. Prices are very reasonable and the quality excellent; if you ask, they also offer a discount program where you get a free haircut after 5 visits. The salon is part of the Local First Arizona partnership, which I also really appreciate and the two owners, Edith and Maria, are very friendly as well! This is a great addition to downtown Tucson scene. I only wish the salon carried more natural hair care options and real cream (not creamer) for coffee. read more

I'm going to give two stars because although their services may be great. They unfortunately over work their employees and when an employee is ready to part ways, owner Edith and Maria are extremely rude and non supportive. I use to always go there to see my hairstylist until I heard she parted ways and when I heard about how she was treated I could not believe my ears. I was disgusted I gave my money to a business who treats their employees like this. I also heard from another friend that had work there that that she unfortunately would have to work 10 hour shifts with no breaks. It was saddening to hear. Had the worst experience. Had a consultation for extensions and called ahead because I was running behind. Ended up being 7 minutes late, and was told I had to wait 30 minutes. Went for coffee and came back. 45 minutes passed. The stylist came out with her client and started blow drying her hair. I asked the receptionist what was going on. Niki did an amazing job. I had a horrible highlight experience about a month ago that left my hair looking brassy orange. I didn't even want to look in the mirror. Niki did a consultation with me prior to touching it so that she could get a feel for what I was looking for. She was very very thorough. I'm super happy with the end result. She put shadow color on my roots, a vitamin shot for my hair because of all the recent bleach and it turned out very nice. It looks prettier and healthier than it has in years!! I am so upset. I told the lady on the phone give me a good stylist and she said this girl have been working for 7 years. For a hair cut I was there for 2 hours exactly. Like they cut my hair 3 times and tries to fix the mess with blow dryer. She would stop go ask her supervisor what to do and come back . Now I am crying. It was her first time doing bangs. She cut them too short that they jump up. It is funny that after 1:35 min I begged a lady that please I ve been here too long this is not what I wanted. And she tried to fix the mess but the hair was too short. At the register they charged me 7 dollars extra because I had a long hair. And they asked if I want to tip them and felt shy and gave her 10. I needed to find a place that was closer to my apartment and somewhere that would do a great job in general. They really accommodated to me when I was making my appointment because my availability was tight. I had my haircut + style ($38 w/o tip) by Sydney about 2 weeks ago and it was SO amazing! Before anything, she sat me down to look at my hair and I told her what I've had done (since I've been blonde), what I wanted my hair to be like, and she gave me a lot of realistic advice back and how the process would be over time. I'm really happy with how my hair came out it was cute and fit for my age since I'm in college, needless to say I'm looking forward to my next appointment!! read more

Went in for a simple bang trim, but Kaylana took plenty of time to consult with me and make sure I got what I wanted. She listened, looked at pictures, and then repeated everything back to me to make sure I understood it. She also was careful to cut slowly and in small increments to make sure she stopped before the bangs got too short. Price was extremely reasonable for a bang trim. Two words: Glorified Supercuts. It was $30 bucks for a "hair cut and style." I read good reviews on Facebook and even a article online that made me want to try this place out. It was 5 minutes away from my home and I wanted to try a different place, other than Toni & Guy. The haircut was rushed. I have long hair and it usually takes 1 hour to cut and style my hair (my experience so far). The hairstylist was done in 20-25 minutes. I thought to myself: "WHAT?" She lazily styled my hair and left frizzy places near my forehead. I was shocked. Then I asked for a blunt bang and she feathered my bangs horribly. Not that I will be going back, but the hairstylist didn't even offer me her card or try to sell me products, it just seemed like she was trying to get rid of me, LOL. I have been searching for a cool hair salon, unfortunately, this isn't it. I rather dish out $50 or more on another hair salon. I guess you get what you pay for, in a weird way.
