I ordered salmon patties, greens, and pinto beans, along with a couple of pieces of corn pone. I ate until I literally could not eat another bite. The corn pone didn't require butter, it was already so buttery. The pinto beans had lots of chunks of meat. The salmon patties and the greens were similarly delicious. Hubby had fried chicken. He was so impressed that he ordered a few pieces to go. We also took a couple of pieces of pie to go. (Chess and chocolate.) Great home cooked breakfast, cooked fresh once ordered. Great staff. I've ate here everyday for breakfast since I've found the place, highly recommend it. Stopped by for dinner on Friday for the catfish special, they're open til 7 on Friday nights. The special was nothing short of amazing! Legs and mac and cheese i got her apples too they had no flavor. I was on business in Glasgow, KY and was told to go eat at Annie's. I stopped in for a late breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food, and quality for what you pay. Please go to the front counter to place your order. There really is an Annie and she took my order. If you don't see what you want, just ask and they will prepare it. I had 2 eggs over easy with sausage patties, hashbrowns, toast, and all you can drink coffee. My food arrived quickly. It was perfectly prepared, and tasty. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 was the food came out on a Styrofoam plate with plastic ware. However, the coffee was in a glass mug. Please support this small family run diner, but get there before 3:00 p.m. that's when they close.You will not be disappointed! read more

We decided to go here based on the 4.5 star yelp rating. I would rate this place as average as it is a bit confusing on what is available on the menu until you get up to the register. Hidden gem! Quaint little diner just off the main thoroughfare, Annie's offers fantastic homemade breakfasts that impressed all of us. Yes, you order at the counter (no menu required just ask for what you want) and then get your own drinks and seat yourself and they bring out your food on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils, but these cost saving measures are well made up for in the food!
