to start the older lady who did my service , never once ask me any questions about what I wanted. Plus, she went to the restroom in the middle of my service. Didn't tell me where she's going just left. she cut my toenails WAY TO SHORT that it hurt as she did it. then the wax for my feet was WAY to hot but she put my feet in it anyways. the towel were so hot they burned the back of my legs. and to top it off all of my toenails are not the same color of maroon all different shades. as I drive home, I'm crying because my feet look worse than they did going into the nail salon. 8/28/23 Had an amazing and relaxing experience. The salon is clean, and quite - the perfect atmosphere. Refreshing Jasmine Pedicure - it was comfortable and enjoyable. I didn't have to worry about cuts or digging into the side of the toe which made for a stressful free pedicure. Courtney is very attentive, asks how you are doing, and lets you know if anything hurts or is sensitive to the touch to let her know. She shaped, cleaned cuticles and rough surfaces perfectly. The massage was outstanding. Manicure/Dipping Powder - next was the manicure and shaping. Courtney is absolutely the best! She cleaned up the cuticles and shaped my nails from a picture I showed her. Now I know I'm not all rhinestones and long nails but for me I love a short natural nail and believe it or not it's not the easiest for some nail techs to do or they ask you are you sure you want them shorter which I don't care for at all. I got a pedicure yesterday 6/19/23 and though the technician gave a great pedicure she changed the polish I chose. I chose a red glittery polish, and she had a gentleman hand her two similar flat red colors. I stated I wanted the red glittery polish as I like glitter polish and she said she would do the base in the flat and then a coat of glittery to make it look better. Well, she chose the flat red and did not use the glitter polish at all. The service here is very unpredictable, some visits are good, and some are not (bleeding toes). They recently upgraded their chairs and the polish station but that may not be enough for me to take a chance on 50/50 service. read more

Had my first appointment yesterday. Jay took my call for the appointment and was very nice and helpful with my inquiries. I made an appointment for waxing and a pedicure and was told I could come right in. Upon entry I was greeted by Jay and was asked to fill out a short Covid 19 form. Helen escorted me to the wax room and was just as friendly. Afterwards, she then started my pedicure treatment and offered me a beverage (as well as Jay). Minh another nail specialist took over. After trying two other nail salons in the area, I decided to check this place out. I wasn't happy with my nails after the last salon. This salon was clean and very attentive. They happened to be short staffed and closing within an hour, but did not rush their clients. Theh offered us dribks while we waited and apologized for the wait. Henry did my nails and he was more thorough than probably anywhere I have ever been. I was far impressed with this salon. Their prices were a little more than the other places in the area, but to me it was well worth it. My 5 year old was with me for this visit and they really went out of their way to talk to her and make her feel welcome as well. I came here with my mom on Labor Day to get pedicures. When we walked in, we asked how long the wait would be. One of the employees told us 10 - 15 min. It took them about 5 minutes to get us into chairs, but then we ended up waiting 45 min to an hour before anyone started on our pedicures (45 min for her and an hour for me). The water was basically cold by the time they started. We requested the same pedicure, but it's like they picked and chose which services to give us. For example, they put a mint gel on your feet before they put the warm towels on them. I got it, she did not. When the lady finally got to my pedicure (an hour later) it was THE FASTEST pedicure I've ever gotten. She rushed through it in 15 min tops. It was honestly some of the worst service we've ever received. They lied about the wait time and then put no effort into the service itself. I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

I waited 45 minutes, then was told to sit to soak off my nail powder. 30 more min pass no one has come to give me the acetone to soak off yet many have walked by. So I have been coming here for ages. For the past 6 months I have been taking my 5 year old once a month with me for her to get a mani/pedi too. We got there early today. It was not yet crowded. We picked our color and were led to our chairs as usual. Then it got busy. More employees started showing up to help out. The workers started on me and then started seating and helping the other adults. My child was there first and with me and she was ignored. Then finally a guy sits down to do her pedicure, however every couple minutes he gets up to get something, goes out whenever someone else comes in and generally ignores my child. I paid for her mani/pedi but I should not have since he did a half ass job. He also didn't respond to her when she spoke with him and he does speak english. When I got there I was given a three part binder and said these were the new choices for pedicures. $35, 40 and 50 bucks. The yellow card never came out. The $35 one was closest to what I normally got but I got so much less, not even a foot rub. When I finally went to pay I saw the yellow sheet at the front. I told the guy who did my daughter's pedi that he should probably take that down since they were not offering that anymore. He said that they were but the new ones with with an exclusive line of all natural products. I told him I was told those were my only choices and with the crap service I got today I was not coming back. I had signed up for an eyebrow way too but never got that. They have to realize there are 2 more nail salons on every street. They can be easily replaced. read more

My pedicure was all spotchy, they could not communicate enough for me to explain to them it needed fixed. Took my daughter and they put her where I couldn't see her from my pedicure chair. I asked them to move her but again they couldn't understand. Her nail polish was very messy too. The pedicure chair was supposed to be massaging but they didn't turn it on. Attention LGBT civil rights supporters. My daughter went in today to get a rainbow design done on her nails. When she requested it, they said they could do it. Once the technician asked her why she was getting a rainbow design, AFTER he already started taking her old nails off, she told him it was for Pride month. He then told her he couldn't do it, and STILL charged her for the removal of her nails! We just had 49 people murdered in a terrorist massacre. How completely and utterly disgusting! This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon! We went in for pedicures and then asked if they had time to do manicures as well. They were very rude about this, laughing at us and I'm assuming talking bad about us to each other. When I asked if there was a problem with that they said he (Mike) had 2 people waiting but he would do my manicure anyway. I would have been fine if he would've just said he didn't have time. My wife called me at work in tears after leaving in humiliation. She asked for a rainbow design on her nails and showed them a photo on her phone of what she wanted. They told her they could do it and started taking off her old nails. Then a man there asked *why* she wanted that and she explained it was LGBT pride month and after Orlando she wanted to show her support. He then said they couldn't do that but they would do anything else. She was so embarrassed that she decided to leave and they still charged her $10 for taking off her nails. I've tried many salons here in Schertz. I have actually been going to Ann's for a few years and have been mostly satisfied when I was able to have the same nail technician every time. Over the past few months, the quality and workmanship has declined. I tried a few new places and still thought Ann's was better. The last two times, I have gotten shellac and it has chipped or peeled. The last time I was in the manager tried to talk me into doing dip, but because of the price I stayed with shellac .. five days later, I was on vacation with my husband and seven of 10 nails had the shellac come loose and peel off. I went in today for a repair or replacement and my choices were to pay for another round of shellac, which the manager told me that he tried to tell me not to get last time, in front of all of the other customers , or pay to have the dip done. While I don't like paying for a service that will not hold up, I feel like it is inexcusable to shame a customer for not paying for the more expensive service, especially, in front of other customers. read more

Walked in on a Sunday, they were busy but asked us to sign in and if we needed any help with what services were provided to just ask. They were very friendly. We had to wait approximately 20 minutes. I got a full set. I showed the tech a picture of what I wanted. He right away let me know he hadn't done that kind of design before but gave me two different options of how he could do it. He was extremely helpful. He did a wonderful job on my nails. Asked me every step of the way if I liked it...statrting with if I wanted my natural nail clipped or not before he put the tips on. He did a test run of the colors I wanted on my nail before doing anything to make sure they worked together. He was very attentive, and actually held a nice, fun flowing conversation with me. He offered me a complimetry beverage which included water, soda, or wine. It was a very good experience, especially since I had gone to the same salon for five years previous to finding Ann's. My boyfriend got a pedicure , and said it was absolutely amazing. They actually did a great massage. The prices are reasonable and they do an excellent job! I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone in the Schertz area. I tried them due to being the only salon in the area without terrible reviews, and I'm glad I did. I will be back! :) read more
