I booked my first wax for free at European Wax Center. I called ahead and they had immediate availability and they've even accept walk-ins while I was there. Post chemo and I had some abnormal hair growth and wanted that ripped off so I got my Labubu furry face done and my nose and it was painless and I've had my nose done before and it would always bring tears to my eyes, but they said that because of the technique that it was painless. Highly recommend going with your gal Pals to book your first freebie and they even have eyebrow tint for less than 30 bucks at this time and it's a new service so take advantage and if you're shy just get something easy done and then once you get comfortable with your wax specialist, you can venture forward from there. I'm not really a fan of the speed waxing because there's always a bunch of hair is left behind. And it's unnecessarily painful. I've been to EWC before but this is my second time going to the Agora location. I've seen 2 different people and no one has done the "cleanup" to make sure all the hair was waxed off. I really like this place. My friend sees Samantha for her waxes so I started getting set up with her as well. Samantha is super friendly and attentive and doesn't try to pressure me to wax anything that doesn't need it just to make a sale. I've seen one other girl, I think named Sam. She was very nice too but since I was about to go to Vegas had suggested waxing my upper lip. I went for it, because I totally agreed with her comment about how makeup just sits better. She's so right about that, I completely agreed. A week later I remembered why I generally opt out of waxing my lip - because it's prone to breaking out. :( not bad, but enough to where I'd rather just not do it at all. So when I came back to see Samantha again I explained that I will skip that for now and just stick with chin. It really does make a difference compared to plucking. One time after finishing up with my chin, Samantha said "You can get dressed and I'll meet you out front." I turned to her and was kind of like "Huh?" And she said "Oh I'm sorry, we do so many bikini waxes it's just a habit." So we both laughed about it. I may do a leg wax eventually and see how long that lasts, because I am truly tired of shaving my legs every couple of days, but luckily the cold weather just blew in so I don't know that I'll need a leg wax for awhile. I probably should have waited a few days before I gave my initial review directly with the company. I wanted a wax before a big event and have noticed that a good amount of hair was actually broken off and is starting to grow back as if I shaved. I haven't shaved in years so I am a bit disappointed in the results. I waited about 6 weeks between waxes to make sure the hair was at length for a solid wax. I'll have to see if I'm willing to go back to this specific location, find an alternative location, or switch companies altogether. Besides that, I guess I was just too eager to have hair off of my body. It's just too expensive to keep going back to fix a problem that one wax specialist could not handle. read more

Had the BEST experience at European Wax Center Live Oak today! I have been going to EWC since 2016 although this was my first time going to the Live Oak location. Today I also brought two other guest with me. I made an appointment for 8, my sister at 8:15, & my brother at 8:30. We all 3 arrived at about 7:50. They saw all 3 of us almost immediately, which was so awesome that we didn't have to wait hardly at all! We were all 3 out of there by 8:15. Seriously the best customer service. I also have to brag about my wax specialist Erika she really took her time and was so sweet. I will definitely be back to see her. I realized after getting in town that I had one eyebrow So, I called from my hotel in a panicked state and they were super kind and said head our way in 30 minutes. Now, let me preface by saying I am a European Wax customer at home, but this by far has been my best experience. I worked with Sam and she was amazing. We did a short consultation and she really wanted to know what was important to me. I've had people that just started pulling out hairs! Wait!!! Let me tell you what I need...these are on my face. Worst wax center I have ever been to. I've been to many European wax Centers in different states and have never been dissatisfied until now. Booked my appointment on 2/27. Gabby (waxer) rushed through the entire service which only lasted about 8 min for Brazilian and under arms. Needless to say there was so much hair left behind I had to go back 2 days later for a re-touch. I spoke with the manager (Hannah) who was very friendly but super unhelpful. 2 weeks later all service need to be completely re-done as Gaby broke the hair as opposed to pulling out from the root. I'm very upset this was a complete waste of time and money. Will not be returning to this location read more

I am so extremely happy with the service I always receive at EWC to the moment I walked in to the front receptionist and to the AMAZING SAM V.! I have been seeing Sam V for about a six months and she has my eyebrows on point and everything else I get waxed!! I can honestly say that I have never seen by eyebrows looking so beautiful. Typically, I'd give this center a great review due to the professionalism of the estheticians--such as Gabby and Sam. However, I was deeply appalled at what I experienced today. The receptionist by the name of Jenna (I believe that's what she said her name was) was very rude, lacked professionalism, and needs a refresher course on customer service. Long story short, I was a walk-in today and opted to wait in front of the center in my car. They were pretty busy today, so I asked if it would be okay and to be notified when it was my turn. I was rudely told, when I came back inside to inquiry about my appointment that I missed the time 15 minutes ago. The receptionist told me she said 2:30 and that it's not responsibility of the wax center to let me know it's my turn. Her tone was very condescending and I ended up having a heated discussion with her. I would have never went outside in the first place, if this was going to happen. Plus, I asked her what her manager's name was and she said it was against the law to give that information to me! I asked for a phone number and she would not give me the information. So I called the corporate headquarters and I do plan to come every day like I told her, until I see the manager. I'm typically one of those people that won't make something about race, but today I can't help but feel as though it has racial undertones. I want everyone to know about my experience and hopefully you will opt to go elsewhere. I refuse to give my money to a center that lacks customer service. I do plan to follow up with the corporate office again this week. This isn't Jim Crow and I demand respect. Until I get a formal apology, everyone is going to know about the lack of professionalism that this center exudes to customers of color. read more

Amazing experience, service and attitude at this Forum location from the staff. I was nervous about my Brazilian and April was super informative and made me feel relaxed. She gave advice and tips on how to get the most out the wax and how to prep for next appointment. I was very pleased with her professionalism, while keeping the experience light and as painless as possible. I've been coming here for quite sometime, I've always had an amazing experience with my wax specialist but she moved so I am currently still using the rest of my passes... Today I had an appointment with Sally. By far the worst wax & service I have ever had. I heard the lady before me complain to the front desk prior about Sally which is disappointing because I also had a bad experience with her too. Sally called me up & just confirmed that we were doing the brazilian today & that was the last thing I heard from her until the end of the service telling me to hold my knees & letting me know the service was done. She did not engage in a conversation whatsoever, which I feel like that is part of their job to do to distract the client. She never once asked me if the temperature was okay, if I was doing okay, counted 123, told me deep breath for anything. ( which every wax specialist has always done ) She really struggled with pulling the wax strips off which made it hurt! I have gotten multiple brazilians & that has never been an issue & I have never been bothered by any pain from the brazilian. When finishing up she put the serum on before the butt strip & didn't tweeze at all! I would understand if there was nothing to tweeze but there was an insane amount of hairs left still after realizing it once I got home. Once I got home I also realized she BURNED ME. There is a patch of skin missing on my inner thigh & there is skin peeling. It's super red & you can definitely tell my skin is missing. This is very unacceptable. I definitely feel like I wasted my pass on this horrible wax job & experience. read more
