Sweet lady but when I asked if there was hot stones with the Organic Pedi, she said Yes. After a very quick/soft massage and only one coat of paint (no top coat but there was a base coat and one layer of color) she said "All done." I asked about the hot stones and she said only if it was the Signature Pedi. I would have just done that if she didn't say Organic had hot stones. Pedi tiers and offerings were not the same as the website attached to their Google Maps. When this was brought up, they showed me an entirely different website and said there was another Ann's close by, which is not true. They are all 15-25 min away. After paying, I asked for a receipt which they could not provide so I took a picture of the one for their records. Underwhelming, kind of uncomfortable, and I was excited to try a new salon closer to my house. Wish I would have stuck to my previous salon which is further but worth it. read more

If I could give no stars I would! I went in for a manicure with dip powder overlay. The gentleman doing my nails said he had been doing nails for 20yrs! This is what 20 yrs of experience gets you here. He was trying to do two of us at the same time rushing through every step of the process. When I pointed out areas that were missing dip he said "there's several more steps to the process and it would be fine". Clearly they aren't! His way of fixing the problem was to try and grind away my own nail. I immediately pulled my hand away and was done. They then proceed to charge me FULL price for this mess! I should have refused to pay. Their way of making it right was to offer a free manicure on my "next" visit. Please don't waste your money or time on this sham of a business unless you want a bumpy half ass job! read more

Extremely disappointed. First of all we made an appointment for 12 we didn't get our pedicures until 12:36. They cut all of my toenails super uneven and way too short. One of my toes is now irritated and will get an ingrown as it grows in. The color is patchy. They cut my mother and tried to play it off saying it was her fault because of an "ingrown" that she didn't even have. They recently upgraded their space and it is much more spacious than their previous one. They are always very clean/sanitary. Long is the best; he has never disappointed me! He takes his time and does an amazing job. I highly recommend him as a nail technician. Amy, the owner, hops in to take care of my ingrowns and she's the best as well! It's taken me a LONG time in San Antonio to find someone who can take care of my ingrown nails without hurting me, making me bleed, or making my toes sore for days after. Unfortunately I have to write a review. Which I never do even if I get a bad job done I just don't go back. This time I got a really bad fungus from getting my nails done. I have been here a few times and this has never happened to me. I'm glad some of the nails fell off a few days after getting them done. But the rest I've been popping them off and I thought it was just a little color because I am a barber so I thought it was just color. After rubbing them with soap and water and than sanitizer I end up with a fungus from my nails being done at this place. With all the new TDLR rules for the coronavirus I would think they would take more time to clean their tools. read more

I went to get my eyebrows waxed and was very impressed! She did a very good job at cleaning my eyebrows up and was very gentle.

Came in for a mani/pedi with Shellac... Toes came out good, but the tech who did my nails did not apply enough coats to my fingernails. Shellac was blotchy, and bubbled up and you could see through the shellac on some nails. Very disappointed. Went to another nail place to get them corrected because I didn't want to be disappointed twice. Spent $100 here and it wasn't even worth it. read more

Made an appointment and waited with our feet in cold water for nearly an hour to be seen. When my companion was going to have to wait an even longer period to be seen, I asked my nail technician to give me a moment to see if anywhere else had availability for both of us (as we had requested in our original appointment). My nail technician simply moved on to another patron and the manager on duty completely avoided taking any accountability for the situation. Unfortunately I would not go back. I went in early one Saturday morning. One woman gave me a pedicure while the other did my nails. The woman who did my pedicure cut my cuticle. After cutting my cuticle she rubbed the polish remover over it which stung. The woman who did my nails also cut my cuticles causing them to bleed. She did not remove the gel completely from a previous manicure. When she finished, the gel on my nails was rigged and bumpy. I went back the next day for a redo. A different woman did my redo. She removed all the gel but even her manicure wasn't good. She put on so much gel it ran into my cuticles instead of a clean finished look. I'm always in this area as I go to Bikram Yoga a few doors down, but I never stopped into Anne's Nails because I thought it was going to be more like a froo-froo "spa" instead of your typical in-out nail place because of the name...Anne's Nails. Well shame on me, the owner's name is not Anne, he does an excellent job at nails, and it's a quick in/out place for a mandi/pedi. I just get a normal manicure, it runs $15 here but I see others doing gel, eyebrows waxed, etc. It's a small set-up maybe 4 pedi chairs and 3 nails desks and 2-3 nail techs there at a time. They'll offer you a drink and flip a movie on for you too. Very friendly, this is where I will go from now on! If you check in on yelp, you get $5 off $25! read more

Great spot to get nails and feet done. The plus here is that the manicures and pedicures last a long time. I get fills and often go three weeks without a problem. I find the ladies here are professional, skilled, and they try to please. Sometimes there is a bit of a language and cultural issue but they aim to please. Vast selection of colors. Do not come here!! Like someone else said they do not use sterile tools for each customer. The lady that started doing my nails saw I was wearing a wedding ring and told me I was too young to be married (I'm 32). Excuse me? Not your place to say. She then asked what I did for work. I told her HR Manager and said seemed shocked and said "Manager??". I honestly felt insulted. I asked to get ombré powder and she didn't know what she was doing. It was not blended well at ALL and she took it off and tried to start over. I asked for a different technician and she did not do it right either. I just moved to the Alamo Heights area and this nails salon is amazing! Kim- the woman did my nails was very thorough! My toenails do get impacted on the sides and to prevent ingrown toenails, I try to get a pedicure every month or so. Kim asked me if I had pain on the sides before I even explained my issues to her. From then I knew I was in good hands. She meticulously cleaned everything out which provided me with so much relief! A week later and my toes still look and feel like new!
