I was getting ready to move across the country and was able to donate old office supplies, post-its, paper and other items I had around my apartment - I was very happy to donate those items here rather than somewhere like Goodwill or them going into the trash. I didn't expect for them to ask me to stand there and go through every time I was donating. It was a bit judgey and uncomfortable as they handed back a can of spray paint that they thought could be less than half full. I was disappointed that the rest of it wouldn't be used be someone (even for free!) and that I had to throw it out instead.

I love that they have kits for kids (or even adults) to learn how to do certain crafts, like a beginner small quilt, crochet, learn to sew, pizza box crafts, and more. Do not buy picture frames from Michael's…read more I purchased the last one of this frame. When I got home, I realized it was cracked (it's not wood, it's a cheap foam board underneath). I went back to try and return it and they refused because I did not buy the "extended protection plan" despite it still being in original packing and a recent purchase. The employees are not at fault, it is a problematic corporate decision. Do not buy from them until they stop selling defective products and honor returns.
