Based on the overall rating of this place, I expected a lot less. But I was blown away! The service, the food, the speed, the atmosphere, it was all so so pleasant. First of all, we were seated by a kind hostess right away, and our server came shortly after. He was on point- got everything right and was friendly without intruding on our conversation (which is always a bonus). I got the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes and WOW. The flavors! It really was unique and delicious. The strange savory-tanginess of the cheese went so well with the sweetness of the pancakes. I ate almost every bite (and it's a huge serving). That's the thing, the portions were a really good size! The atmosphere was fun and inviting, and really buzzing around brunch time. They seem to have some great business, and they deserve it. We also got some beignets to go (because who can pass those up when you see them on a menu). Those were SO GOOD. Went for Sunday Brunch. There was a pretty long wait but we used the waitlist on Yelp to get ahead. By the time we got there, we only had to wait about 15 minutes. Husband had breakfast food and I had lunch. I am eating low carb so my options are not as extensive. Husband had pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. I had a salad with a few substitutions. The kitchen didn't get it right the first or second time but eventually we did. After I got my salad situated, it was really good. I had coffee too. Grits were cold and lumpy. Tasted very out-of-the-box just add water. The waitress was kind enough to microwave them for me. Husband didn't like at all and since his options are limited to soft, ground up foods, this was all he could have. I had the apple chicken sausage links, they were pretty good. I also had a English muffin. I asked for it extra toasted and it came of perfect My kid ordered the pound cake French toast, eggs and bacon. I've Been to this location before when they first opened and I absolutely loved it I had their Hawaiian French toast and homemade sausage. I visited this location the other day for my sisters birthday early morning. I came to find out the menu had changed slightly. I ordered the french toast and homage sausage assuming that I would be just as I remembered. No. My server came out with a waffle at first and said I ordered it but some how my sister also heard me mention a french toast.. She quickly came out with the French toast so no biggy . The sausage was extremely salty to the point I couldn't eat more than half, and I had two sausages.. My sister enjoyed her birthday meal so that's all that mattered.. Was excited to try this place. The food choices sounded and looked great. Many very interesting choices made it hard to choose. Unfortunately it took an extended time for any one to show up at our table. This was a weekday before noon and only half the tables were in use. I could see wait staff talking together at the bar and at the hostess' desk, but no one really seemed interested in taking our order. At some point you start thinking that I need to stand up and ask to be served. But we waited. Eventually someone did, apologizing for the delay. A disappointing start, but we were understanding. I tried the Mahi Benedict with beignets, the wife chose the cinnamon roll French toast. Both sounded awesome. Again, the wait to get our food was a bit long, but when we got the food my wife noticed there was no cream cheese topping as expected. However, the waitress never returned to see how we were doing. So she ate half of it, as-is. When I eventually caught the server's eye to bring us the check and a to-go box, we asked about the missing cream cheese frosting. We were told that they were out. But that they are making some now and she will put it in the to-go box. Now, why didn't she tell us that to begin with? Give us an option to stay with that choice or do something else? (I don't know about you, but a cinnamon roll isn't a cinnamon roll without the cream cheese frosting). The answer is because, obviously, customer service is not the priority here. The mahi benedict itself was good, the andouille cream sauce on it was the highlight. The country potato's were bland and over-cooked. Beignets were passable. There were quite a number of dishes I was excited about trying on another visit, but after this experience we won't be back. That's too bad. We had high hopes for this restaurant. read more

Went here for brunch with my kid as she had never been. The wait time wasn't too bad as it was understood that we were there at a busy time of the day. I went for the chicken and waffles this time although this is not my usual choice for this place. As with any other thing on the menu, I was not disappointed. The service was great as usual. Ok, this place is my new favorite breakfast/brunch spot! We did have to wait 40 mins for a table on a Friday 11-11:40 but it was worth it! Next time we'll have lunch/brunch at 12:30 when half the tables are empty. We had six picky "foodies" and we all LOVED IT! The lemon blueberry mimosa was fab, and I had the lobster omelette with a side of lemon blueberry pancake. I added bacon and cheese to the potatoes on my side - wow! So good! My friend let me try her fried green tomatoes and crab cakes - amazing. We'll be back! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in true southern hospitality served by LeeAnthony. He was an excellent waiter and we highly highly recommend this restaurant. A group of friends visited here on a Saturday morning and were promptly seated. I was impressed by the menu that had such a wide selection. I selected the lobster & Brie omelette as a way to treat myself. The huge drawback and complaint by everyone at my table was that the coffee temperature was tepid to cold. Even with a refill. Very strange for the morning. I enjoyed my omelette. It was so cheesy and filled with good bits of lobster. A hater friend said it smelled fishy. Whatever. Our hostess after sitting us didn't say anything of who would be waiting on us. The table was next to waitress/waiter station so the staff were constantly going by us. Five minutes pass - no word of "we will be with you shortly" or asked if we wanted coffee. By this time, we had decided what we wanted to order so I put our menus aside a sign that we were ready. More staff stops at the waitress/waiter station but doesn't turn around to ask us if we had been helped. Now it's been ten minutes since coming in and I observe a group of three ladies get seated at table for four next to us. Within a minute a waitress coming out of the kitchen says to them "I will be right with you". We had enough and left utterly disappointed. Hopes whoever was managing the wait staff Friday Oct 6 sees this and properly teaches their team to acknowledge all customers. First off I'm new to the area and did not realize that on Sundays you can not purchase alcohol until 10am! We were both a little concerned with the drinks being pretty pricy, if it only tasted like coffee or starwberry juice, but I gotta say we both thought our drinks were delicious and you could definitely taste the alcohol..but in a good way. It wasn't over powering, so we felt a little better about the price. My Huevos Racneros was tasty, it had a good amount of cheese, with what almost seemed like homemade chips? They were a good soft and hard texture. It also came with salsa and sour cream on the side. My friend said her crab cake benedict was really good and she would get it again. The waitlist process was quick and easy. That was about the best part of the experience. I ordered the hot chocolate to drink and got it maybe a minute before the food (which took 30 min) my fiancé never received a refill of coffee until after the food came and I had to ask a food runner for it. She asked for her food to come with no nuts or whipped cream (not the servers fault she showed us the ticket, it was rang in properly) it was covered. I ordered gluten free pancakes but after about half I started feeling off and given all the other kitchen mishaps I didn't feel comfortable eating the rest of my pancakes. I finally questioned it and the server (and her trainee) that we did end up with were awesome and bent over backwards even brought us a free order of Beignet's as an apology. Smaller than normal but very good, warm and plenty of powder sugar. Average coffee, very small cup. Bloody Mary was average flavor and fair sized. Princess had one very plain Belgian waffle, large and soft. The eggs Benedict was one of the worst ever. The ham and english muffin were good, large soft, hot. The eggs were not poached but hard boiled, and the hollandaise sauce was more like gravy, thick, zero egg or lemon taste at all. Side of potatoes were frozen or reheated, over cooked hard and bland. Everything was hot and presented well, but not even average flavor. After a small snafu, the service was the highlight, the food was poor for the prices.
