I could really go on with a review but Andrea P in another review now pretty much summed it up.The only thing I can add is the hair ball on the floor and the sun blinding you through the window with no shades....I actually took photos of the food but the hair ball outshined it all ...all in all one and done for me but hey have a go if you want, but be advised the Gluten-friendly pancakes had a taste that could only be comparable to a well battered u-haul cardboard box. read more

We found this place by complete mistake and so glad that we did. WOW!! We both had a Bloody Mary while we waited for our table, excellent with the perfect amount of spice. Once seated, we both had coffee. It was really good coffee. My husband ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict with City Grits as his side. OMG, those city grits. Delicious!! He loved the salmon eggs Benedict I ordered the Chicken & Waffles. The hot honey on the side was to die for. You don't need the syrup. We will come back. Food is fine. Nothing special, but also not bad. We've been twice. I ordered the huevos rancheros, and the eggs with the toppings were quite good, but the tortilla that came with it was a VERY crunchy oily mess that I did not eat. Husband ordered biscuits and gravy and said they were fine, but again nothing special. Also got an order of the beignets. They are NOT beignets. They're really hard biscuit balls covered in powdered sugar. I was disappointed. My kiddo liked the French toast which she ordered both times we came. Server made sure kiddo had crispy bacon like we requested. Plus my kid said the chocolate milk was very sophisticated (comes in a fancy glass with whip cream, which they really liked). The second time we went I ordered chicken and waffles. Chicken was good; waffles could have been crispier. Finally made it down for breakfast and wow was it soooooo good! I got the seasonal dragon fruit French toast and the butter pecan cold brew. Both were absolutely amazing!!!! Okay, I will say food here is really great. Great variety and fresh ingredients. However, this place needs help. No organization or structure to seating based on who arrives first. Waited 35 mins over our 20 min quote. Watched them seat 4 tops over us as a 2 top. We had time to watch operations and there are no designated bussers or food runners. Backing up tables. Occupying their servers. Management needs a stronger leadership. The host would only be at the front every so often as she and what could've been a manager tried to clean tables. Not sure if they're short staffed or what but this restaurant needs better structure. read more

Let me start by saying wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I had very high hopes as their menu hit all of my high notes with diverse and unique offerings from most breakfast venues. 3 in our party all ordering different items. I ordered the Power Power Bowl. The biscuit was one of the best I've ever had. The grits were as bland and tasteless as I've ever had. The scrambled eggs were over cooked and the onions under cooked. The sausage gravy was mediocre at best The next companion had the Eggs Blackstone Benedict which featured over cooked poached eggs, cold lifeless tomato and English muffin and barely any hollandaise. The third companion had the Hash Brown Bendict which fared marginally better. Meals like these need a skilled hand and it was obvious someone was missing the mark. On 1- 28-2024. " MANAGER NAMED JEFF MADE US FEEL UNSAFE / THREATENED " They charge a service fee. When I question about it, I got two managers to my table. One we were told was the back manager, his name was Jeff. As I asked to have that service fee removed, he stated " That I would pay the fee or he would call the police " Jeff then proceeded to tell me that " he didn't appreciate me staring him down " I'm a 59 old man, I was raised to look the person in the eye when talking. For breakfast and brunch this place will become a definite go-to for us. We actually did a delivery order today as we didn't feel like dealing the crowds. Food was packaged nicely and depressed by meal which was kind of nice. The portions here are HUGE! It's easily 2 meals for us. I tried the buttermilk pancakes and added berries and whipped cream. My son chose the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes. Both of these items came with 2 weighs and a meat option. I chose scrambled eggs with cheese and the apple maple sausage. My son got sunny side up eggs with ham. The eggs were very good and cooked well, both types of breakfast meats were also very good. The meals consist of 3 large pancakes with their respective toppings. Pancakes were soft, fluffy, and had a sweet taste to them. We also wanted to try the beignets. Just coming home from New Orleans, we wanted the comparison. They were good....not quite as good as the beignets down south, but good. This is the third time our food took over an hour and a half. It all came out cold so we told the server that we were going to eat it bc we had somewhere to be and the kids were restless, but it's ice cold. He comes over and tells us that the manager said we can remake the food but because but we can't take anything off the bill because you're choosing to eat the cold food. We didn't ask for a discount but the manager should have come over to apologize rather than ask the server to do so. Why would we want you to remake the food when we just waited an hour and a half? Also why would you rather remake a tables worth of food and put more stress on an already overwhelmed kitchen instead of taking the kids meal off or something. Bad business, bad manager. Canton, OH - the strip This was the 3rd time to the restaurant, which we really liked it the first two times. We get there and the greeter didn't even say hi or good morning. Which we thought was rather rude. We were seated and got a coffee and an ice tea as well as placed our order. My husband had 4 cups of coffee, which would have been more if the waitress/waitresses would have come by. My husband actually had to hold up his cup to get more coffee. This was all prior to receiving our food. Which normally is only one cup of coffee. One waitress came by and put a plate in front of my husband and it wasn't even what he ordered, it was the table across from us. Not once during this time did anyone take the time to ask if we needed anything or how long our food was going to take. I did ask one lady, the greeter how much longer till we get our food??? Her response was, they are bringing them out when they can. This was said in a snide way. We didn't appreciate the attitude. Finally we get our food 40 minutes later. The plates were hot, but not the food. My husband had cheesy grits with shrimp and there was no cheese. The grits were clumped and lacked flavor. He has gotten this the two times prior and was looking forward to it. I asked for wheat toast and received english muffins. I requested my wheat toast and it comes out burnt. My cheese on my omelets wasn't melted and it was cold. I always like to tip generously, but I could barely even get myself to tip 10%, which they shouldn't have received anything. Simply unacceptable. Seating wait was 10 minutes longer than stated over 30 minutes. 2 groups that entered later were seated ahead us. Wait staff was slow we waited at table over 15 minutes to order drinks. Waited an additional 15 minutes to order when we were informed the kitchen was too busy to take orders ( first time hearing that) We had to leave to go eat somewhere else. The food quality and atmosphere in no way make up for the wait and either poor or undertrained staff. This new breakfast place seemed to be popular when it opened and we waited 30 minutes for a table. The employees were friendly, the server did her job well. This menu is a great marketing piece, the prices are high because the product does not deliver. Shrimp and grits was bland, grits were gelatinous as they cooled, the "garlic bread" was an inferior half English muffin slapped down on the flattop until it had a brown crust of grill residue. Pancakes with goat cheese and blueberries had maybe three blueberries on top but not inside the batter- indiscernible goat cheese and a micro planing of lemon zest on top. The room is cold because of the high open ceiling even though we were seated far from the entrance door. With one alcoholic drink, two entrees, and a side of those pancakes just so we could try them, and tip, breakfast was $55. A gross waste of resources. If you are going to put out a "fancy" menu, hire a dang cook who can execute it. Two stars because the employees in the front of the house did their jobs. Zero for the food. read more

I'm no health inspector but I'm pretty sure that's a violation. However, the biggest disappointment was the fact that they add 3% to your bill. I get it a lot of places are doing this. This restaurant does not have it posted anywhere that you will be charged the extra 3%. Uneducated. Unclean. Non-accommodating. While the ambience was slightly cleaner and sophisticated than your regular breakfast restaurant, the service was the opposite. I presented my food allergy card and asked what I could eat. It's not a choice that I'm allergic to soy, dairy, shellfish, and a few other ingredients. It's my life. I try to be as low maintenance as I can and I'm open to eating whatever a restaurant can make. I mostly expected to get a poached egg as it's super simple to make. Most restaurants try to accommodate. At this restaurant, the nice waiter went to his kitchen staff and asked what they would suggest we order. He came back with a vegetarian and gluten-free menu and said they can't promise that my food will be safe. I understand how cross contamination works, but bringing me a menu that absolutely has nothing to do with my allergies and telling me their kitchen is not clean enough for them to even attempt to make me a safe meal is terrible business. It makes me wonder about the cleanliness of their kitchen. We decided to leave as I was embarrassed and frustrated, and my company felt awkward to eat in front of me. As we were leaving, the hostess stopped us to ask why we were leaving. We said their restaurant couldn't accommodate my allergies. She again mentioned the gluten-free and vegetarian menu. They quoted us 20 minutes for us to come and pick up our food,he got there and it wasn't ready yet,which was fine, at 12:45 he finally asked if our order was going to be ready soon,they bring our food up and when he checked the order,we were missing numerous items, he told them and they apologized and told him he would have to wait another 15 minutes, no one ever brought our missing items up, he had to go up and say we just wanted our money back because he had to go to work,they finally brought our food up after an hour of waiting. He said no matter how good the food is,he's not going back,I'm So bummed because I couldn't wait to try this place. Amazing food. Great bar. Wonderfully different breakfast items that are delicious and unique. Only reason for 4 stars is the wait was crazy.
