We had reservations with family on a Saturday night at 6pm and finally got to try it out. The place was already basically packed and it was lively. It gave me an old vibe of a place from the 60s/70s, but didn't feel dated. It was loud in here so if that bothers you, this is your warning. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was really good. The brussel sprouts standing out the most. My steak was ordered at medium and it came out as such. It was slightly tough on a couple of cuts thru it, but otherwise spot on. The parking lot is narrow and tight. If you're coming I'd recommend a reservation if it's a bit after opening. We will be back.

The line from the counter stretched all the way back to the door, which gave us plenty of time to people watch and admire the beautiful space after picking our drinks. The baristas were friendly and welcoming. The line was moving slowly - a combination of people asking questions and an ordering process that seems a little inefficient (we noticed they were tracking available pastries on Post-It notes). Our drinks were available quickly, and they were delightful. I had the spiced orange chai with oatmilk and my husband had a gingerbread latte. My chai was sweeter than I would prefer, but now I know that for next time. Everything in the pastry case looked incredible. We passed this time because we had finished breakfast. Couldn't tell if the dumps were frozen or homemade but they tasted good, and we loved the carrot salad they came with. George's was one of the places with the most votes on my poll so I had to give it a try. I've been looking forward to the Wednesday night Burger specials I keep seeing on local group pages as well. George's is located in downtown Canton surrounded by other local businesses and food establishments. The George's 59 Classic with fries definitely did not miss. It was a really good burger cooked to perfection and fries were delicious. Even though there was another table with kids, I wouldn't recommend it.
