First time visiting. Food came out hot. Our issue was with the service. We had a table of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). My husband and I were sitted first and waiting on the rest of the family. We told the waitress 2 ice teas and the adults would want coffee. She FINALLY came back with the 2 teas, and no coffee. By this time everyone else had arrived. We told her 2 coffees and 2 chocolate milks. We saw her bring other food out to other tables, taking orders, and walking around. The order of beignets came before the drinks and without any small plates. When the drinks finally arrived, the chocolate milk didn't have whipped cream. Honestly the quality of the food and portion sizes just don't justify the price tag. It seems like the quality of the food isn't consistent? Half my fiancés omelet was over cooked and had no cheese but the other half was perfect. My eggs on one Benedict was over cooked and the other was perfect... it just wasn't consistent and that was disappointing. Service was par but maybe our server was new but every interaction was so awkward and uncomfortable. My friend ordered a mock tail and it was served it in a dirty glass. Had lipstick marks on the glass. (They did Comp it) but the drink didn't have an orange or thyme in it like the original first one so it felt rushed.. Brunch the Friday after Thanksgiving May not have been my most brilliant idea but the staff at Another Broken Egg welcomed the Black Friday crowd with efficiency and warmth. Cheerful and bright, the interior gave a modern farmhouse vibe. The southern influenced menu offered a wide variety of items. I opted for pancakes, scrambled eggs and maple chicken sausage while my guest had the crab cake Benedict with grits which looked fabulous (along with a Bloody Mary!). I will get more adventurous on my next visit. They do have call ahead to get on a waitlist-we opted to sit at the bar. The next time I go, I'll sit at a table. Our bartender/waiter was great but she had to take care of the four groups seated at the bar and she had to tend to her bartending duties. She was a good multi-tasker but I had to ask for a coffee refill because she was so busy making drinks, etc. All in all, everything was wonderful and I am already planning my next trip back to Another Broken Egg Cafe! read more

This is one of the best hidden secrets in Wichita. I absolutely love the food, the service and the atmosphere. The restaurant is perfectly put together and the organization of the entire interior is perfect and goes with any group of people or any business lunch or breakfast. This is the second time I've been here. First time I sat at the bar. Waited forty minutes only to find out nobody put our order in. They were busy I understand things happen and I'm always willing to give a place another try. Just came with my family to try again. Waited about 40 minutes after we'd ordered and food finally came out but they got my order wrong. They did quick turn on got the order fixed and it came out about 5 minutes later. Food is good, service has not been great in my experience. I don't know that the long lines and waits are really worth it. So yeah don't come here with family if you already ate because you will be laughed at like you're poor. Also, for the price, portion size, and never getting refills, this isn't worth it at all. Was told 20 min after being on the wait for 2 hours then came back in 25 min later to check was told it would be ANOTHER 25 min. This is a failure on management kitchen host and staff as a whole and the host is failing to properly maintain a crowd with accurate information if it's going to be an hour or more say that because we have a screaming baby and 20 min vs several hours is a big difference. It's only courteous to be honest with customers so they can make an informed decision and not just keep waiting around with false time estimates. Update: I left a review in the heat of anger and I hope to change it down the line when they can get they're business functioning better. But 3 1/2 hour later we had no choice and took baby to eat at Livingston finished our food and noticed we were still on the wait and it said 15-30 min still remaining and never received a text for the table that we were told would be ready in 20-25 min. Very disappointed because Wichita lacks good brunch spots aside from homegrown. Was excited for something new and sadly could not enjoy it. We'll visit again in the far future and hopefully have a better experience. read more

This is probably one of my favorite breakfast spots in Wichita. I had one of the chorizo omelettes and it was was so good. My fiance had the biscuits and gravy and she absolutely loved them. 10/10. we are going back there next weekend.
