Wow! One of my new favorite restaurants! My girlfriend brought me here on the West Side and I found Twelve to be a hidden gem! Warm and welcoming, Twelve has basically two sides: a bar side and a restaurant side. Both give off a classy ambiance of an upscale establishment best suited for a professional meeting or anniversary dinner. As I've been here twice since the initial occasion, I have had both the braised beef and the pork chop. Not sure which one I like more, but both are indicative of the Twelve Menu: incredible! The three of us stopped by at 730 on a Friday. 1. Service was excellent our server did a great job. 2. Atmosohere was ok, restaurant was busy but not crowded, not too loud. 3. The food we got was acceptable not great but not bad. The issue is they were out of prime rib and tenderloin, and they only sell prime on Friday and Saturday, unacceptable to run out of meat by 7 pm on a Friday! Made reservations for Mother's Day's Brunch. Had only been to Twelve once before. The service was very good but rather impersonal which is understandable because the restaurant was pretty busy still at 2:30. The overall experience was lack luster at best. Presentation was average and food was average tasting. Nothing special to mention at all. For the $48 price tag I have been to better brunches for less money in town. Swore after our initial visit, which left the same experience in my head, I wouldn't be back. This time infused it into my brain. Ambiance fine, lovely restaurant, service was good, everyone very pleasant. We shared the Cuban cigar appetizer, which was tasty enough, I think a little dipping sauce of some type would have been nice. Hubs had the chicken Parmesan, he liked it, the chicken was nice and tender. We both had a cup of soup, nice broth and hot. I had the wedge salad, always love a wedge salad and based on a prior review had high hopes. It wasn't awful, just not good. The was a middle core piece in the lettuce, a really brown core piece, and the wedge itself was just poor quality, not tight, like lots of air space between the leaves, and I could taste bacon on exactly one bite. Overall, just disappointing, especially for the cost. I wish I had ordered something else. Cocktail was good, and we'd probably try this place again, there's a lot to like here, just some attention to quality and detail would be helpful. read more

We have been a regular since they opened. On December 12th we had 6:45 reservations. At 7:15 with wine still in our glasses we were asked to leave and go to the bar. I do not feel 90 minutes is a long time to be sitting at a table when our ticket was 250 for 3 of us, we left 100 tip on that and then bought 100 gift card. Feeling like this was a fluke deal....we went back on NYE. Exact same scenario. We will not be going back. They must be making the reservations too tight imo. Really nice place very friendly servers and employees put in a reservation for 6 o'clock and got sat down before then. You could watch the cooks make your food started off with black beans and queso good appetizer for the price and we got it half off for half appetizers. Got a non-alcoholic berry delight. A little bit bland, but you could taste the flavors. I had the 1/2 roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and roasted squash with mushroom marsala wine sauce. Definitely enjoyed that one. In my opinion I did not like squash and my wife got the twelve chicken salad. She loved it. For me personally, definitely on the more expensive side, but still worth it. read more

The Easter Buffet was excellent. We had reservations so we were seated promptly. Beverages are ordered at the table as well as specially prepared selections (French toast, fried eggs, eggs Benedict,). Ask the waitress for the specials. What a delightful experience! The kind waiter was very helpful in my menu choices. As someone who travels weekly it is always a comfort to find a restaurant that is homemade, in a healthy way. I could have gone to Cracker Barrel and had comfort food (I love a hometown feel) but when it is farm to table or from scratch like Twelve, it makes you feel like you are being kind to your body too. I had the Twelve salad and the Guinness beef & veggie soup. But looking around, I think I could have picked anything and it would have been delicious. I will be back. read more

We have been going to this restaurant since it opened and always had a great experience from the food to the service. More recently I see a slight decline in the quality of the food and the service. Last night we ate there and my husband ordered the $45 filet. When the dish was brought out the steak was so small and even the person serving said that the kitchen was preparing another portion of steak for him because of how small the first piece was. My husband was done eating before we had to ask about the second portion of steak. Unacceptable that they didn't serve the correct size of steak with his whole meal. Service at 12 restaurant for the Sunday Brunch was horrible. Our waitress Courtney brought our water,cutlery, and directed us to the Brunch buffet. After that we saw her walk by to tables across from us, behind us, but she never came back to see if we needed water, coffee or anything else. We saw another waiter, Brandon and he was excellent. He got us refills on water coffee and asked us every time he walked by if we needed anything. Our waitress Courtney was no where to be found and we asked Brandon for our bill, which he retrieved. The bill had Courtney's name on it and I was reluctant to tip her at all. We thought maybe the staff shared tips so I gave a $17.00 tip hoping that it was a shared tip because Courtney wasn't worth a $1.00 tip. We always tip 20% minimum for waitress or waiters. So if you happen to go to Twelve Restaurant for Sunday Brunch get anyone besides her if you want good service. Food was okay but nothing to brag about. Newport Grill out east blows this away and the staff are attentive and food is outstanding. read more

Found this place close to our travels on Yelp decided to give it a try. It was very slow inside which was kind of surprising. It was 1230 on Saturday. We sat at the bar and the service was good. We started with the elote dip it was amazing. Then I had the spicy shrimp pasta and it is very spicy! I was sweating after eating it but the flavors were great it's very rich dish. My wife had the steak pasta and it these are huge portions she wasn't able to eat it all. Overall good experience the dip stole the show. The pasta dishes were good but I wanted another order of the dip. read more

We went at 730pm on a Friday night and were sat immediately. Our server was very attentive, I wish I had gotten his name. Everyone on staff was friendly and it was clear it was a team atmosphere. My husband and I were out west and have heard a lot about Twelve, so we decided to give it a try. We are both pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and dining experience was great. Our server, a young man, was phenomenal. Very attentive to our needs, kept our drinks full, and the table cleared. We ordered a charcuterie board appetizer. Food excellent! Service-Hailey was great!! Ambiance it was great until the female manager decided to hold her staff meeting while customers were dining. She made comments about customers that should be made in a staff room? Not where customers are eating!! Repeated her self numerous times about silver is not a priority. She commented at one point that she was going to give someone a few more minutes before she was going to "go get someone out of the restroom. Another comment about staff checking tables was made "if I walk my ass by a table and put my finger on it and it's dirty I'm going to come find you". So uncalled for!
