I called the next day and a guy answered and I told him I just want my watch back, I'll get it fixed somewhere else. He said "fine, I'll call you" He calls the next day saying it's in. I go to the shop and say "I'm here to pickup my watch" The guy said "your name?" I told him my name and 1 of the lady's that sits at her desk w her back turned says "oh him!" Hahaha So professional. I would like to share my experience with this clock repair shop…read more The owner, Jan, agreed to repair my cuckoo wall clock. The problem was that the clock was losing about four hours. Two days later, I received a message saying the problem had been fixed and that I could pick up the clock. I was asked to pay in cash, which, unfortunately, turned out to be a mistake. Just three days after the repair, it became clear that nothing had changed. The clock was still losing time exactly as it had before. I called the shop several times and left messages explaining that the problem had not been resolved. The owner only answered after I called from a different phone number. After listening to me again, Jan said there was nothing more he could do. When I asked him to refund at least part of the money for a repair that had not solved the problem, he refused. Unfortunately, I was left with the impression that I paid for a repair that did not actually fix the issue. I want to warn potential customers: if you decide to use this shop, make sure to ask in advance what warranty is provided and what happens if the repair does not solve the problem. My personal experience was extremely disappointing.

I have left four messages in great detail on his business phone and never received a call back still. I called the Runyan's Jewelers in Camas who is his contact office and they said they would give him a phone message, which they did. I was finally get able to get ahold of him on his cell phone. His business philosophy is quite bizarre. He states he does not contact anyone. It is up to the customer. Which I tried to do several times. He would not let me speak, he kept talking very loudly, I had to ask him, politely by the way, if I could speak. Not professional, not nice and not reputable in any way. Please do not take your items such as clocks and watches to this business. He could have made quite a bit of money off of this clock and I do want to have it repaired. He told me since it's been so long and that I'm probably not happy, that he has chosen not to repair it.!!!! I would to love to call him an idiot but that wouldn't be nice.
