We had our wedding at Middle Ranch on July 13th. I can't say one single negative thing about them! From the very beginning, communication was always great. Sevan was super friendly, knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. Our tasting before the wedding was wonderful, we left super full! Sevan helped us make decisions for things that we didn't even think was something we would need to do. All of her help was appreciated SO much! On the day of our wedding, Alex was amazing. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating as well. He made sure we had all our goodies in our bridal suite, as well as our champagne. During the reception the staff was superb! Extremely friendly, attentive and professional. They brought out our food promptly and it just kept coming! The vegan meal options were perfect for our guests and appreciated. The staff was also happy to put together our desserts since we weren't doing a traditional cake. Our wedding guests gushed so much about how perfect everything was and how they've never been to a wedding that they left full! The food was delicious and the staff was amazing! We had our wedding at Middle Ranch Lodge in May. Anoush was Middle Ranch's partner catering company, so we had to use them when booking the venue. To be honest, we were not expecting much. We have been to several weddings and the food has always been disappointing. I had sent Sevada, our main person of contact, a list of menu items that I wanted to add/change on their original menu. Sevada was very accommodating in our first visit to their Glendale office and helped us walk through what was in our budget. We wanted some changes without any menu price increase, and he said he would work something out. On the day of our food tasting, we were given some tray-passed appetizers to try out as well as the items I wanted to change on their original menu. Whatever route you go though, know that the food is AWESOME!! It is absolutely the best wedding food I have ever had! Chef Cody was amazing. We got the chicken, tri-tip, and a vegetarian pasta option (that was not in the original menu). But if we were to do it again, I think we would have tried the pork chop. Cody is such an amazing cook that all the meats were very tender and juicy and the vegetables so nicely seasoned. The salads were also delicious!! We got the caesar, quinoa, and kale. We had our dinner family-style and my aunt-in-law (is this the right term?) came up to our sweetheart table and told us that she loved the way the food was set up. They made sure to keep the plates coming out separately so that there was no clutter on the tables. If you have huge centerpieces you will thank how organized everything is. The food was just as good as it was during the food tasting. Sometimes caterers will try to shortcut the menu the day of, but not Anoush! Everything was so consistent and delicious. The servers were also very efficient and attentive. They made sure the flow of our event was timely and were able to accommodate us when we sped up our timeline a bit. There was soooo much food. Tip: Please PLEASE tell your guests that they can pack and take their leftovers home!! It is such a waste otherwise, because there is just so much good food that you'll be too full to finish it all, but you can enjoy the goodness of the leftovers after a lovely night out. :) read more

I used Anoush Banquet Halls & Catering for my wedding in April 2017. We went with Anoush because the venue we booked (Middle Ranch) works very closely with them and it was part of the package we picked. Middle Ranch chose them for a reason and we literally could not have been more pleased with how everything worked out. First of all, meeting with Sevada to do our taste testing was super easy and professional. We went to one of their beautiful banquet halls where we were served our top picks and EVERYTHING was delicious! The short ribs were out of this world and the salmon and chicken followed closely behind. Fat and happy we then discussed which package we wanted to have and it was so crystal clear with Sevada - no hidden fees, no gray areas, just the facts.. which made us feel super confident in booking our choices. The day of the wedding came and the catering team arrived around 11 AM to start setting everything up and prepping the food. They set it all up beautifully - the bar, the appetizer table, the buffet area and even served us appetizers and champagne in the bridal suite while we were getting ready. I know they say brides don't eat on their wedding day, but this bride did! I cleared my plate and enjoyed every bite! The feedback I got from all my guests after the wedding was outstanding. They could not stop talking about how delicious the food was (true story) and how friendly the bar tenders were. I've been to this location twice in the last 6 months, both for weddings. The first was an absolute disaster! The staff was incompetent and painfully rude. The manager was constantly missing and staff behaved as if they had no idea what was being asked of them (please bring water to the tables.. that's a pretty simple request, and it was asked very nicely and many times) The company failed to uphold their contract by attempting to end the event far earlier than was agreed upon. The couple had signed a contract to have the location until 3 am. The management shut down the bar and turned up the lights by 11pm. Who does that? Dealing with Anoush Catering at Brandview Ballroom as a part of the wedding party was the most difficult thing I've ever had to deal with at any event. Even as a guest the second time around, the neglect was frustrating. The servers did not bring out the correct number of entrees, and when asked nicely to please bring out just enough to accommodate the guests at the table, nothing was done. No food was brought. No acknowledgement that anything had been requested (multiply times) This is not the type of service any guests expects to receive, least of all at such a special occasion as a wedding. If i could, I'd give them no stars.... but 1 is the lowest the system allows. I would strongly advise you reconsider this place before signing any contracts. read more

It is RARE that I'm impressed with a catered food event, especially one thrown by a city or county organization for their annual holiday party in a massive Civic Center Hall. And the event was for 300+ people with no table service so I had to stand in a buffet type line for a long ass time. But when I finally got my food, sat down and dug in-- DAMN, that shit was GOOOOOD!!! Seriously, outrageously good. This holiday party was sponsored by the City of Glendale and I was apprehensive about what the food would be like since many city-sponsored parties like this have crappy food (budget constraints, anyone?) This, however, was top notch Mediterranean food. Every single item was bomb, from the veggie items to the meat items to the rice. Yes, the rice was even really good. My wife took me to this event since she works for the city and she and I both went back for a second plate. She and I actually used to own a small restaurant so we were doubly impressed with the quality of the food considering the huge quantity Anoush Catering had to prepare (its much harder to make a massive vat of food taste great, compared to a little skillet serving up one of two people, believe me!) When I walked in I was impressed on how beautifully decorated it was.I loved their table settings. Sadly, their staff was extremely rude. At times they were too close to the table, invading our personal space. When we were trying to take pictures they wouldn't move. I have several pictures of staff members looking directly at the camera. The food was a disaster! Everything was either too salty or super dry. All of the banquet halls we had seen looked remotely the same until we stepped foot into the Brandview Ballroom. When I first walked in I instantly fell in love and knew this had to be the venue for our wedding. Not only is it beautiful, but it is soooooo unique and elegant. We had the pleasure of working with Sevada who was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. He made sure that everything was exactly what we wanted and was perfect on our wedding day. We didn't have a wedding coordinator to rely on which definitely was one of our biggest worries, but thanks to how awesome management and staff was at Brandview we really didn't need one! All of our friends and family didn't stop raving about how it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and how DELICIOUS the food was. Our food was served family style and there was not one person who left hungry. There was never a moment there wasn't food on the table (which I find to be extremely important) and it always tasted delicious and fresh. I honestly can't think of even one thing to critique because Brandview nocked it out of the park!! I was highly impressed with Anoush Catering for my clients wedding two weeks ago at Middle Ranch Lodge (they are the preferred vendor). COMMUNICATION: Connecting with Sevada as easy. He returned my emails and phone calls within one business day. It was very helpful to know he was available when we needed him. SERVICE: They were early for setup- which every coordinator can appreciate. They didn't introduce themselves, so I had to hunt down someone to make sure they were okay and didn't need anything. The banquet manager for this event, Alex, was very accommodating and able to help get the bridal party wine and light appetizers prior to the ceremony- they appreciated it. They happily tray passed the donuts from my brides donut bar and were provided timely service for the champagne toast. FOOD: The food, which I was able to have because the vendor meal was the guest meal (nice!), was pretty delicious. Buffet style with three meat options- their salmon was amazing! Planning an at home wedding can be a stressful experience, but the entire staff at Anoush made it a fantastic one! They are a one stop shop: catering, rentals, bartending, cake, etc and they do it all so well! My very first encounter was with Sevada, the sales manager. He was so friendly, so knowledgable, and so accommodating that I knew right away I wanted Anoush for my wedding. Throughout the course of the planning process any request I made was accommodated and without extra charges (logo included on all signage, tray passed shots on the dance floor, bows tied on our cocktail table linens, jalapeños added to the Mac and cheese, and so so much more). Two days before the wedding, Sevada was scrambling around helping us find sweetheart chair rentals. Truly amazing service. Dave, our on site manager, was amazing!!! He had fantastic ideas and worked tirelessly the day of our event! He ran around doing everything, even things beyond his job description such as arranging our own furniture outside into little lounge areas. He took care of every little detail. The bartenders were also spectacular. They were so nice, fun, fast, and accommodated my every request as well. There was never anything I had to worry about when it came to Anoush. Last weekend, we had an amazing experience with the catering at Anoush. Super last minute, had to change our plans for a dinner party and not knowing what the weather would be like, we made a last minute decision to have our dinner catered. When I reached out to Anoush, a gentleman by the name of Yervand was our first point of contact. Within minutes, he provided a package that catered to all our needs and then his colleague Ehab assisted with completing the transaction. Food was good but customer service was terrible. They don't know how to communicate and after you pay them, they will not answer you anymore. I was missing some of the food that I ordered and they did not answer me. Up to this date I am still waiting for an answer. I have ordered twice from the for catering. I ordered for 10 once and 30 for last time. Both times I received one container of rice. 10 people and 30 people don't eat the same amount of rice do they?!!! Also ordered fish and received more fish heads that the fish body which to me it was very odd since people don't even eat the fish head. read more

I have to say, as soon as I walked into the office I was so impressed with their service! Everyone was very professional, the staff very polite. They were able to help me pick out a menu for the event. A few weeks before the event, I was able to have a food tasting and approved all of the menu. Making reservations was made easy and painless; Anoush was very flexible with all of our plans, along with coming up with a price point that was right for our budget. The food here is very good. If you love Mediterranean/Armenian food, the food here will please both you and your guests. Plus, they give such large portions of appetizers and main portions that everyone will be stuffed by the night's end. Glenoaks Anoush. We had a wedding. Their Air conditioning has been outdated and insufficient for a long time now. Doesn't accommodated the place when you have 200+ people with a full dance floor. Plenty of guests complained and had to step out for fresh air. Their food has become subpar. Again, several complaints from our guests the following day stating they went home and ate after. Their service has also become intolerable. They're lazy and full of lies. I'm really not sure who's fault this is ultimately but the manager in charge was Gokor. Step your game up because you guys are losing a lot of business with potential customers. Good luck! read more

Anoush Catering exceeded our expectation on the opening night of my exhibition, "Posters and Portraits" at the Bridge Gallery in City Hall. The show was a benefit for Inner-City Arts and Anoush Catering was generous enough to sponsor the event and create a special menu appropriate for our all ages guests and the historic layout of the venue. Along with the art, the food provided by Anoush was the talk of the night. The dolmas and kebabs were a hit for the adults as well as the children. I've never had so many folks inquire specifically about the catering at an event. (Yes! It was that good!) Setting up the food in a non traditional space (i.e. the beautiful, historic mayor's reception area) was not a problem. Incredibly delicious food! A good friend booked this caterer for their wedding at the Brandview Ballroom and everything was fantastic. The vegetables were well seasoned and all of the entrees (chicken, salmon and steak) and sides (too many to name) were flavorful and enjoyed by all. The menu was "family style" and there was so much food that there was plenty leftover. I hosted a large Banquet for the company I currently work for at the Glenoaks Ballroom. The planning of the event was simple with Anoush Catering. Their chef was amazing at working with some custom food ideas I had. We did have a tasting, which was more than necessary in my opinion. They went all out with their tasting presentation! Most of the food was fantastic and worth the upgrades. We had a full sushi station which was pretty cool. We had asked for a better looking bar set up, which they were accommodating to this. I live in long beach and I havent found a venue in the area that is as elegant as this one. Was it worth the drive? Yes it was, to me it was like driving to DODGERS STADIUM . We just celebrated my niece's quinceañera on June 30th 2019. All of our 170 guests have been talking about how great the service, the food and everything was. I have no complaints whatsoever and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Would I have another party here? Absolutely!! Yarvand and Hovo were very helpful. Excellent service.
