They know really know how to help throw a party! My mom's 50th Birthday party was held at their beautiful gold Glendale ballroom and I could not ask for more. They helped us from beginning to end and answered any last minute questions promptly. Our guests were greeted with champagne in the first room which many were pleased by. The space in the ballroom was able to comfortably fit our 180 guests as well as a dance floor, live band, dj, high table, cake table, and side bar! I cannot express how happy we were with Anoush Catering. Our venue changed caterers after we had already signed a contract with them and I wasn't happy about it but after speaking with Sevada, Director of Sales, he assured me that his team could put together a meal that we would be with happy with. Well...that was an understatement because what they put together for our reception was phenomenal!! We had family style BBQ with chicken, trip tip and ribs. The mac and cheese was creamy and the mashed potatoes were buttery. I requested corn bread and it was served with butter. My guests could not believe how wonderful and plentiful the food was and I'm still hearing about how great everything was months later. You cannot ask for better service. We recently had our wedding at the Brandview Ballroom and the experience from start to finish was amazing. The venue is beautiful and well maintained, the location was beautiful, and the staff was extremely helpful. Specifically our coordinator, Sevan Ghazarian. Sevan was helpful and courteous during the entire process. She was quick to respond to emails and provided her in put in on how to better improve our experience. She was professional and informative when we had questions and was willing to help us with any questions or problems that arouse. Sevan was able to assure our experience and wedding was one we would never forget and we were able to enjoy the wedding of our dreams. We had our wedding catered by Anoush and out of the 18 vendors we had, they were our favorite. And if you get Linet as your contact person, you're in for a treat. They were the most attentive, reasonable in price, and accommodating. They even upgraded a few dishes without increasing the price. I would recommend them without hesitation. The food tasted amazing, it actually tasted better the day of the wedding than at the food tasting. We got a number of compliments on the food after the wedding. Recently, I was asked to write a review about Anoush Catering by one of the staff members. When this happened, I literally jumped out of my seat and got in front of my computer. This company is extremely popular, and loved from all over. My friends had been bragging about their food for years, and I didn't know what they were talking about until the day of my wedding. My wife and I got married at a Banquet Hall and Anoush Catering Company was our caterer. I have to say, they delivered! My expectations were very high, especially since I am HUGE on customer service. They totally blew me away. The staff was very friendly, and likable. I found myself chatting with a lot of their staff. You could tell, all of their employee were very humble. (This has a lot to do with my 5 star rating) My wife absolutely loved the staff. She loved them so much that she cried while she was thanking them at the end of the night. As far as the food, pshhhh....nothing will even come close. Their food is top-notch, no doubt. Let me put it to you this way...we had 22 appetizers, unlimited alcohol, and 3 FULL entrees... yes, 3 FULL entrees on top of all of the appetizers. it was nuts! haha We were all eating food like we'd never seen such a thing. Everyone at our wedding was talking about how amazing the food was weeks after it ended. I would highly recommend their catering services to anyone. They are worth every penny. Anoush catered my wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch last month. Catering at an outside venue can be challenging, especially at this particular venue because it provides little to no amenities, but thanks to Anoush the event was flawless. Haik, the event manager, was present at every meeting, responsive to emails and incredibly helpful every step of the way. Hakop, the owner, has been in the food industry for many years, is extremely knowledgable about food and hosting all types of events and readily gave helpful recommendations. The bar manager was very enthusiastic and gave a thumbs up to all our ideas and kept our guests satisfied all night. Anoush not only offered their professional expertise throughout the process, but they were attentive to our overall vision and made it come to life. Our guests were raving about the food all night and for weeks afterwards. The only thing I regret is not being able to eat more of the delicious food at my own wedding! My husband and I are foodies, and we were worried that catering to 250 people would end up compromising the quality and taste of the food. However, every item on our menu was seriously delicious and the process from the beginning stages of planning to the actual day of the event was a fun experience for us. Shame on me for taking so long to look them up on yelp and I'm surprised there aren't many reviews but honestly their name and reputation precedes them. Now I am admittedly hesitant to give 5 stars to others because no has been that great lol, but Anoush EXCEEDED literally every expectation. There service is unparalleled, it was almost dream-like. My husband and I were on a tight budget and alhough we put a lot into our wedding we negotiated hard to get any discounts available to keep within budget, and VJ worked to get us the best deals. This in itself was a bit concerning to me because from experience most brands focus their energies on their high rollers and if you're not throwing money at everyone and everything you're not going to be treated like royalty...Anoush is quite the contrary. From the minute we walked in, we were treated with the utmost respect and honor. Weddings are such a sensitive and hectic time and I'm a bit of a stress ball but not only did Anoush avoid adding stress, they contributed to lowering my stress levels. One thing that really stood out ,aside from the service, is they were extremely ethical, even with our sensitive issues regarding meat origin (they went above and beyond to prove to us they wouldn't jeopardize our trust even when we didn't ask for it or need it!). VJ was really great throughout the planning, the tasting was AMAZING (I'll add more to that later) and our planning guy was great in helping us decide layout for best appeal. Now lets get to the wedding day (which was june 24 2012), we had the such amazing cooperation with setup and we were very specific about what we wanted. The night of a wedding we had this server that was literally angelic(we had met him before at the tasting and initial meetings) , I can't remember his name at the moment but we used to talk about him by name because he was so great! He was a younger guy, maybe very early twenties at the most, and he literally thought of us every minute, from making sure we were comfortable, to making sure we were fed, and weren't thirsty and didn't need anything. And later we received feedback from our family that he was running around all night making sure EVERYONE (250 guests!) was all taken care of.If you read this, thank you so much! For our hall we had the Brandview Banquet Hall , it was newer at the time and had some minor fixer upper issues that they helped us cover up and work around. It was a very beautiful hall, elegant and not tacky which was key. Now for the FOOD...oh my god. Ever so often I ask my husband "do you think they'll cater to just us two?". The food was delicious, they stay true to their catering roots and deliver high class food with great flavor. Everything was fresh and beautiful. We had over 20 appetizers, pasta, rice dishes, potatoe dishes, kabobs, salmon so on and so forth . Being Afghan, I'm rarely impressed with catered food (my family is just too good!) but they were top notch. To this day I cannot get over how great they were, I worked with so many people, halls, vendors etc around my engagement and wedding festivities and I can tell you that it's super rare to be treated this well in general but it's especially rare to walk away and feel like every penny was worth it and that you actually got a deal relative to how you were treated. I was just told the price she thought it starts at and didn't even tell me how many appetizers or dishes it included. Also she didn't even know for sure if the price included alcohol. I felt very rushed on the phone with this person who's suppose to be the catering manager. It's safe to say I won't be booking my event at any of their venues. read more

Not impressed with this catering company at all - they are difficult to work with, hard to get a hold of the week of the event and then claimed that there was a mistake on the signed contract (that they prepared!) and that more money was owed once the event was finished. We would like to thank L.A. Banquets - Brandview Ballroom - The Anoush Catering team and specially Sevada Markosyan for making our wedding day unforgettable. The search to finding the perfect venue was not easy but once we made a decision Sevada was nothing more than professional and accommodating with everything. He was very responsive via email, phone and in person. I cannot remember how many times I went to see the venue and meet with my wedding vendors at Brandview and Sevada was always available for whatever I needed and was friendly and informative with the vendors. The Wedding Day Sevada's team did an amazing job putting everything together the day of our wedding. We had access to the venue the day before to drop off everything that was needed for setting up for the following day. This definitely made the biggest difference so that we would not be running around the day of. The venue looked amazing they did such an excellent job setting it up. The Bridal suite which was very nice and allowed us to get a snack and touch-up before making our big entrance into the ballroom. Everything went smoothly from the cocktail hour to the way they had everyone enter the ballroom to making our entrance. Dinner was incredible and included a surprise dish on fire. All of our guest were amazed and had so much fun. They loved the food, drinks and how they were all treated. This was seriously my dream wedding. The Catering The food was delicious. We had the cocktail hour in which it consisted of 4 hors d'oeuvres (which were all super delicious) - Caprese Tartlet, Salmon Crackers, Chicken Satay and Shrimp Shooters along with premium alcohol open bar. The dinner was a 5 course meal. We had 12 different appetizers which were mirrored on the table so it would be easy access for our guests. We had the Baked Salmon Filet for our first course, Beef BBQ, Saffron Chicken, Baked Potatoes & Vegetable for the second course, Beef & Chicken Luke Kebab served with Persian Rice for the third and finally Julien Flambe. The surprise flaming dish was Julien Flambe dish, it was a whole show in itself as they brought it out and served it. Anoush Catering was nothing but professional. Overall It was a great experience to work with Sevada and his entire group. They made the entire process run smoothly and he provided us with a lot of his expert opinions on what to do and what not to do which made then entire day perfect.
