Very reasonably priced you get a lot of quality homemade Greek inspired cuisine that I really love their salads are phenomenal. Everything they cook is great. They have great service. All the staff is very attentive. It feels like you're having a home-cooked meal. I would recommend for everyone located with so much parking around in Watertown Square behind the CVS or right on the street. They deliver as well. When you first walk in, it's a bit quiet and you have to wait for someone to come from the back to greet you, but be patient because once you're seated, service is attentive and available whenever you need it. There are lots of rustic-looking tables, which give it a sort of homey feel, and some tables can fit 12+, so they can definitely accommodate large groups. My colleagues always get something different, but I get the same thing every time: the grilled boneless pork shoulder and it is so good. The pork shoulder is a bit fatty and comes out juicy and flavorful from the grill - droolworthy. It comes with sauerkraut, but it's not your typical sauerkraut; it's more like a mild slaw with just enough acid to cut through the fatty pork. Also comes with your choice of side and sauce. The garlic toom is the only option in my opinion (of course, they have others), but get ready to have kickin' breath for the rest of the day. Others have gotten the lamb tongue, lentil soup, falafel, beef shawarma, borscht, pelmeni, eggplant rolls, and they have all been hits. Fordee's burger patties are larger than most places, but I did want a double burger. You can guess the rest... double burger, bacon, lettuce, tomato -red onion was a treat! -and cheese and sauces and it was amazing. I can't always stop in and order a little piece of heaven like this -but it does happen and they treated me great... and boy, was it worth the wait. Very nice, very polite, very accommodating to whoever I wanted even if the cheeseburger was 72 ft tall. Best cheeseburger I have had in our neighborhood in almost half a year -and the other place we have to order from a great distance and aren't as nice. I recall one conversation the lady was having with an obvious regular over the phone. She had asked him several times what they wanted to order...I could tell that they had probably ate the whole menu at this point but couldn't decide in the moment. A few minutes later, I heard her say in an exasperated voice, "Oh, yoooooouuuuuu *KILL* meeeeeeee, please tell me what you want." (Note too that she says this in a particular sarcastic accent that literally made me absolutely LAUGH deep inside. Long story short, they continue for a bit on the phone and she finally finalizes the phone order.) I also fondly recall my first visit. I had ordered other dishes to try (none of which were Falafel despite it being part of the restaurant name). It was still pretty quiet as I literally got there as they were turning their open sign. Moments after I received my food, the owner himself stopped by the table with a small sample of his falafels after finding out it was my first time there. That short interchange immediately cemented their name in my list of places to dine. Why? They definitely serve some of the best falafels I've had stateside to date. And on top of that, I truly enjoyed the rest of the plates I've ordered so far. Meanwhile places like Backbar that aim for exclusivity over quality get 5 stars OMG THEY PUT A FLOWER IN MY MARTINI. Cafe Barada is chill, low-key, hitting that stylish mark without hitting you over the head with it. It FEELS like it's been here for a while, there's something broadly appealing to it. The dishes are fresh and plentiful, you can tell they take the presentation and ingredients seriously. Service is friendly without being obtrusive and the location is shockingly peaceful for being on the side of what is essentially a highway. This is going to sound extra obnoxious but the place doesn't feel corporate. If you want a definition of corporate - go to anywhere in Seaport. This place was here before Somerville was cool, and it's a testament to its quality that it's still around. And, just to mention, I do think it makes a good Instagram.

The various cheese are good, in particular the Bulgarian and feta cheeses. The feta is slightly more crumbly, whereas the Bulgarian is quite creamy.
