Side salad with chicken shwarma plate
    Puja G.

Stumbled upon this place while in the area and so glad I did. Not only was the food delicious but the portion sizes were really big. Between my husband and I for lunch we ordered a chicken shwarma plate, fresh pita, and 2 desserts and still had leftovers. The chicken shwarma was very thinly sliced which allowed you to taste the seasoning and not feel like you're overtly stuffed with just meat. Each plate comes with multiple options and we chose the fries which were crispy without being overtly oily, and a side salad that was light enough on the dressing that you could enjoy the vegetables in it.The pita was so fresh and hot that you could see the steam coming out of it. The two desserts were at the register and were described to us as similar to baklava. One was cream filled and the other walnut filled - I loved the walnut while my husband enjoyed the cream one more. Both were sweet but balanced well with the other flavors. The service was also speedy and friendly, and the place had ample seating available. Highly recommend this place.

Filling and delicious food with reasonably-priced (&huge) servings. Family-oriented service. The employee (owner?) was bussing tables, taking orders, serving, and handling pickups, very impressive and attentive! He did a great job upselling a few items, that were all well worth. Gluten free and vegetarian options that exceeded the mark. Perfect Sunday lunch.

My order: falafel tablieh, gluten-free wrap Value: A little pricey for fast casual, worth it for the quality Service: warm and friendly staff, loved it The Review: Though I'd heard that people travel over an hour just to come to this place, Sticks and Stones was a real surprise. In its unassuming location in a tiny strip next to a Dunkin', you'd have no idea that they're serving amazing middle eastern (Lebanese?) cuisine inside. The food took a while, around 20-25 minutes, to arrive but it was fresh, well-presented, and flavorful. There were plentiful gluten-free and vegan options, and the owners are knowledgeable about dietary needs. The menu is vast and you might want to try multiple things, so bring a lot of people with you! They also serve alcoholic drinks like beer and wine, so it's the perfect location for a gathering. Really enjoyed my experience and will hopefully make the drive out from Boston again soon! Note: the tablieh comes with the fries on the side while just the wrap comes with fries only on the inside.

My husband and I love this place. The pizza is good. The Lebanese food is good. There is booze. You really can't go wrong. It's a nice but casual restaurant with counter service. The guys behind the counter are usually pretty accommodating. They serve eat in and take out business. They have chair and table seating and will deliver your food to you. The dining room is nice and has felt really clean every time we have gone. The parking is pretty easy -they have their own lot that they share with a Dunkin donuts so generally there is enough space as they both are busy at different times of day.

Mediterranean food that tastes absolutely great. Also, all their dishes are made fresh on the premises. The kind staff here at S&S are helpful with selections when asked.

Ordered 4 dishes and 2 of them (both lamb) came out super dry and completely tasteless. Seemed like the chef forgot to salt / season the lamb. Couldn't even tell it was lamb. It's a casual spot with nice ambiance. Service was good but slow when they got busy. You have to order at the counter. We'd done delivery before and had a much better experience with the food then. There's a parking lot. Plenty of parking on a weekend evening.

I usually stop in for my favorite snack, the veggie grape leaves, which are always so fresh and flavorful. This visit, I spotted something new pre-made called masaka, and it looked amazing. I took it home, sautéed it up, and added some quinoa I had on hand, along with the veggie grape leaves. What a perfect, hearty meal! What keeps me coming back besides the incredible food, is how friendly everyone is, whether at the restaurant or at the farmers market. I have a very sensitive stomach and multiple allergies, and I'm so grateful that I can always enjoy Markouk Bread's food and still feel great afterward. Highly recommend to anyone looking for fresh, flavorful Lebanese food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Steak Kabob Wrap: I ordered the medium well, and it was noticeably overcooked. My colleague who ordered the medium also well agreed But regardless, the freshly grilled steak was still quite aromatic. The ingredients were all fresh; the rich and creamy hummus, the sweet and sour tomatoes, and the crisp and refreshing cucumber were all wrapped in the markouk. Markouk flatbreads are grilled daily, thin, smooth, and chewy, much better than pita or lavash in my first impression. Chicken Kabob Wrap: Their signature dish. The chicken breast was still juicy. The owner is very familiar with the whale watching boat schedule and will tell you if you have time to eat before boarding. It has a 4.9 rating on Google Maps, but the food isn't nearly as good as it seems; after all, it's just a wrap, and it probably benefits from the whale watching reputation.

I went with the grape leaves as my side and grabbed a Smartwater. Simple and a solid value. Let's start with the pita, because I'm a texture nut and this thing was perfect, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The gyro itself was packed, literally spilling out with filling, and was super flavorful. I'll admit I went in expecting the typical lamb/beef, so the pork caught me off guard. Turns out after doing some reading on the inter-webs, pork is actually the authentic Greek preparation and the lamb/beef is the more Turkish/American take on it. Either way, one bite and I was a convert. The grape leaves were everything you want them to be; briny, punchy, and packed with filling. No complaints there. As for the ambiance, another reviewer put it best: "I wouldn't take my first date here." Fair enough. But for a quick, no-fuss lunch? It was perfect. Between 12 and 1 this place was absolutely jamming, with barely a seat to spare, which should tell you something. Not to mention I heard the staff greet many people by name.
