We were here on 2/5/2026. Booked online 2 days before for the 11:40 tour. Went on the Upper Canyon tour. Plenty of parking, they have restroom on site. You cannot bring any bags on the tour; however, you can bring a water bottle. Our guide, Rodger was excellent! He even offered to take pictures for us! He gave lots of information, history of the cave and always asked if we had any questions. Highly recommend!! read more

My family and I had a really good experience with this tour group, as opposed to the other recent negative reviews. I booked the tour 1.5 months out and for the month of April, it was $120 pp for the 11:40 am time slot, while $100 pp for all other times. We chose the 11:40 am time slow but unfortunately, it was super cloudy the day we went so we didn't get to see any sunbeams ... :( but we got good photos nonetheless. Everyone was friendly from the start. We checked in at the counter 30 min before the tour began and one of the men behind the counter was able to help us break a $50 for our tour guide's tip. Ride into the canyon is around 10 min and slightly bumpy. You may get a minimal amount of sand in your eyes and mouth so I recommend bringing a face mask but it's really not bad and was tolerable if you don't have one. Frank was our tour guide for our group of 13 people. There are 5 scenic spots inside the canyon where he will help take group photos for you. He will also help you take photos of iconic spots and teach you how to get the best lighting. We did not feel rushed. Overall, I highly recommend this tour group. Though I think the price is a little steep especially since we paid extra to get a chance to see the sunbeams that we unfortunately didn't get to see. read more

If you've never been in a slot Canyon, you're missing probably one of the most visually stunning things that person can do. It transport you into a world of light and color. You're never going to see anywhere else. We had Frank as a guide and Frank was up bundle of information. He was very helpful and answering my questions about the Navajo nation and the respect for the land that the Navajo show. As he walked us through the canyon, his expertise and getting the right photos at the right angle were critical and poignant. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful my family would come back here with me again in a minute. Especially if Frank's here. If we are ever in the area again, this will definitely be on the itinerary. They take you through in small groups and explain the geology canon and how it was found. You leave a lot of great information. read more

The drive (~15 minutes one way) to the canyon is included in your tour time FYI. Which was no biggie for me, my group wasn't rushed. Only clear/mesh bags are allowed. No selfie sticks/tripods. I attended the 1:45 PM tour. Was initially concerned about the heat during this time of the day, but when you're in the canyon it is cool and offers relief from the sun! My guide offered no history behind the canyon, nothing. It was just "if you look this way you'll see a shark" "if you look over here you'll see a dragon" and that's it literally. This was soo disappointing! For the amount of money ($120 + taxes) they charge for this tour, I expected more. Don't get me wrong, this was nice to experience, and I have beautiful photos but the price should be slashed in half. Their website states "Your Navajo Guide will take you on an easy journey through the canyon stopping in areas that are popular for photos and also sharing the Navajo Cultural stories about the canyon. This tour is very informative, sharing the history and geology of the canyon and lasts about 1 hour in the park." False advertisement! Another thing I would like to mention, their website states you need to be physically able to complete the tour as it is one way in and one way out. Do not let this intimidate you. I had older people in my group (one on oxygen), and they were offered to walk back through the canyon while those that were more fit continued up a ramp at the exit. More false advertisement. From the price point, the lack of history/cultural sharing (as advertised) I do not recommend this tour. read more

My friends and I were thoroughly impressed with the knowledge and authenticity of the tour guide and the Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours team. From sign-in the morning of the tour, right through to the guided experience of being in the Upper Antelope trail - it was a well organized and smooth experience. Although we were a sizeable group, there was still enough time given for people to ask questions, take individual pictures at various points of the tour, and also to make sure that people with various fitness levels were not left behind. I cannot imagine visiting Page, Arizona and not experiencing the majesty of the canyon. As a geographer, I had a lot of questions about the formation of the canyon as well as the history of the Navajo people and their relationship with the canyon. It was AMAZING!!! read more

Absolutely the highlight of any stay at Page, AZ. Renowned for its spectacular beauty known all around the world, Antelope Canyon is such a sight to behold. And the tours held by the Navajo nation makes it so much better. From the trailhead, we were whisked away with their modified 4x4 trucks than hand hold a handful of guests on the bed. Just the travel to the canyon is already was wonderful experience; the vastness of the Arizona desert is a sight to behold. Entering the caves brings me to awe how powerful and beautiful nature is. They way the light plays wind the colors inside the cave is really stunning. Our guide was very experienced and showed us the perfect vantage point to take photos. And boy he did took a lot of photos of us and the rest of our party. He showed us the spots where award winning photos were taken and we had a chance to take those pictures ourselves. Very knowledgeable about the canyon and polished, interesting commentary about everything to see there. He also came through with incredible family photos for us that are going on our Christmas card! Thank you so much Leo! Mom mentioned that was our hope for a good Christmas photo and he delivered! Was hard at work setting up nice photos by throwing dirt into the air. It sounds weird, but that's how you get beautiful shots of the sunbeams. He also took excellent photos of different features and points of interest in the canyon for us. Gave tips and tricks for nice photos too. Can see why his son Lionel is such a talented photographer with a great mentor like that. What an experience getting to the opening of the canyon! A bumpy (but fun) 12 person truck ride to the entrance. Our guide Roger was great. He gave us a lot of info about the canyon and took photos for everyone. He even sang to us. His wonderful voice echoed through the canyon. It really enhanced our experience! NOT worth $90 per person. I would love to write a glowing review for the Navajo's, but they seriously need to revamp rules and rethink they way they conduct their tours. Do not waste your hard earned money for a 30-minute trip down these slot canyons during the late fall, winter and after 3pm. Due to the season and the positioning of the sun, it's too dark in the slots for quality pictures and they don't allow flash photography. Whole experience felt rushed and my friends and I didn't even get to tour the top section of the slots and not given an explanation of why. Strange rigid rules about how they allow only 1 credit card or debit card per group to be charged. Money is money, why be picky about how one gets it? Even if my friends and I are fully COVID vaccinated, they don't allow masks off momentarily for pictures. LAME. Management needs to rethink the goals of this tour/experience and what do they really want to share with customers/people from this tour/experience. Accessibility: this tour, and all of the tours that go through Antelope Canyon are NOT wheelchair accessible. You also would not want to come if you are on crutches, have a difficult time walking far distances, or up and down stairs. There are lots of stairs you have to walk up and down. There is no other way to get in and out of the canyon. Why book with this company? Because they are the only tour group that is Indigenous (Native) owned and run. You are giving money directly to the Native people whose land you are on. Masks: are a 100% requirement, must wear without ever taking off until they tell you it is okay to take off for the designated water drinking time. Even in photos you must wear your mask (so bring a pretty one or a solid color one, I recommend). IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WEAR A MASK AND FOLLOW RULES, DO NOT COME TO ANTELOPE CANYON AT ALL RIGHT NOW. FOLLOW THE RULES OR THEY WILL NOT LET YOU GO ON THE TOUR...THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE RULE, NO EXCUSES OR EXCEPTIONS ALLOWED (even for medical or religious exemptions). ACT LIKE A MATURE PERSON AND JUST FOLLOW A SMALL RULE. Experience: I booked for a 9:10 AM tour in December (2021) and learned when I got there that it is the wrong time of year to go...the canyon was very cold, dark, all shadows. There was no sunlight coming in so the walls almost looked blue or grey at some points. It was still beautiful though and I recommend going. We REALLY enjoyed this tour! Our guide Roger was terrific! We had plenty of time in the canyon. We were given ample time to take the photos we wanted to take. Roger explained the geology, ancient and modern, as well as pointing out shapes or light pattern's that resembled real world objects. Roger took photos of us with our cameras for everyone in the group who wanted them. Be aware that the truck ride to the canyon is through a dry creekbed, and was a bumpy, rough ride. We totally lucked out with this tour provider. We didn't pre-book any tours before coming to Page and looking online, all the upper canyon tours were fully booked or only had space for one person. We thought we would have to go on a lower canyon tour but that wasn't ideal since my parents have already gone to lower canyon and my mom has trouble walking so we had really hoped to go on an upper canyon tour. Since this group's meeting point was close to the ones for lower canyon we thought we would just stop by and ask about availability. When we got there, we asked if they would be able to fit three people and lucky us, they were able to in the next time slot! The cost was $100/person. If you book in person, you have to pay cash so keep that in mind. Our tour guide was Sherry and she was absolutely amazing!! She was super helpful, showing us all the best angles for photos and even helping us with taking our photos by adjusting filters, angles, etc. and helping us take group photos. She didn't overly rush us or anything, making sure we got the photos we wanted. She also knows some sign language since we had a deaf couple in our group and she was super helpful with them. read more

When planning a cross country RV trip I had originally forgotten this. So by the time I realized my mistake, all of the normal reservations were sold out. Remember, there's only a handful of companies that are allowed to handle these tours. This is Navajo nation property. And you're not allowed to explore it yourself you have to take a tour. But I called and found out that the day before you want to visit you can essentially reserve in advance your walk up spot and that they do keep a certain number of walk up spots. The pictures don't do it justice. This hidden little place on earth doesn't take very long but is entirely worth doing. Our tour guide, Roger, has missed his calling as a photography teacher. We paid $140 per each person for 1 hour and 30 minutes of tour of the upper Antelope Canyon walking tour with a personal guide and 3 miles of truck ride. I had the highest expectations due in part by so many incredible pictures posted on line; however, the tour was not as expected. For the high price the tour was somewhat underwhelming. You can't get the best view with sunlight coming into the narrow canyon unless you go there in the right time of the year. Most of the canyon was under the shadow of the afternoon and few spots had sunlight streaming in for us to see the sandy sides of the wall. Nevertheless I will probably recommend a visit at least once. There are several things that were amiss in our tour. Due to the Pandemic and high rates of Covid19 infection rates among the native, the Navajo Indian Tribe and the tour guide groups decided on a mask policy that is not aligned with the latest CDC guidelines. They will not allow anyone to take off the masks for any reasons in the entire tour. You can't take any photos without the masks. They are extremely paranoid and annoying by rudely requesting and demanding that you keep the masks on through the entire outdoor tour. There was two minutes lectures on mask wearing by the tour guides from the time we got the tickets and by the time we ended the tour. The weirdest of all is that they didn't even check whether we were vaccinated against Covid19 or we had a booster shot or we were symptomatic or currently coughing with fever. Only thing that they were worried and concerned were that we wore masks entire time. They kept saying that if we took off the mask even to take a photo in nature, our guide must take us back and throw us out. It ruined our tour and of course the $140 expectations as well as the sour moods of our group. Everyone took photos of masked selves through the once in a lifetime selfies in the dark canyon! The entire tour was about Covid19 and the masks. Our guide started the canyon tour by showing all of the features of the canyon that resembled president and Hamilton, Elvis, crows and other celebrities including Batman. He rushed us to take photos quickly and so that the next group behind us could take the same spots quickly. It was absolutely the worst guided tour of any kind. Even he lamented that we came at the worst time due to many factors such as pandemic and time of the day and the season! His comments were quite sad reflection of how badly the Natives were treated by Whites while the Natives were charging everyone's pocket of the highest fee possible for the least enjoyable tour. I would stay as far away as possible. I would never take another tour if it means that you have to pay more than $20 to listen to the sad paranoia about the death rates among the Natives, ill treatment by the non-Natives and all of the nonsense that were imposed on unsuspecting tourists. The worst of all was that the two ladies sitting behind the ticket counters were extremely rude and told us to pick up our non-refundable tickets one and half hour before the stupid tour for no good reason, and on top of that they were shouting at us to wear masks "Wear your masks or go home, it's all over our website!!!!" On top of that our guide asked us for tip in so many words at the end of our tour by saying "I hope that you enjoyed my guide and my photos that I took. If your photos were million dollars, mine were priceless!" When my group started talking about giving the poor guide a tip, I literally balked at the idea. Still one of our group gave him $20, but the rest of us all agreed that he didn't deserve it. Actually the entire tour company deserves no return business from me! I only give two stars for the National Treasure but this monopoly by the Natives tribal tour business should be looked at very carefully. read more

My mother has booked a tour back in Jan 2024 for the month of April 2024. Our family trip needed some adjustments and we had canceled the plan to do the tour. After calling many times, I was able to canceled the tour to receive the full refund and have been confirmed by the caller and was told we would get the money back in the card that was used. It's August 2024, way pass the time period I was told to have the refund returned to the card. We have attempt to get a hold of them by calling them multiple times and leaving a VM for a call back but I did not get a single call back. The total loss was around $800 and I thought I should warn people of their terrible refund policy. read more

I'm glad we used this service for our tour of the Upper Antelope Canyon. We booked last minute so I was glad that we were able to get in. Since it's winter, there are fewer tourists which boosted our chances. Although I had the confirmation email, when we arrived we weren't on the guest list but they were still able to accommodate us (since we arrived earlier than our scheduled tour time we actually got on an earlier tour, too!). Suffice it to say, the canyon is gorgeous. I almost didn't want to make the drive to see it but it was a highlight. The excellent guide we had said an ideal time is May when the sunlight is brighter. If you go on a tour around 11:00 am, there will be beams throughout the canyon that provide a great photo op. Honestly? You don't need it. Even on a dreary winter morning, the colors and shapes that you'll experience here are breathtaking. I'm also grateful to our guide because he recommended that we visit Horseshoe Bend nearby. This wasn't on our itinerary and I would have hated to miss it! Dare I say that it's almost as good as the Grand Canyon and even more accessible? Stunning! Another thing I liked about our guide was he explained a lot of the history of the development of the canyons--both from an ecological perspective as well as how they were discovered and their place in pop culture. From being an image on Windows 7 to Britney Spears filming a music video here, Antelope Canyon is a gem. The guide also pointed out the best photo spots and took our photos as well. Since the canyons are located on the Navajo Nation reservation, masks were still required as of December 2022. However, we could remove our masks for the photo. Perhaps the only negative about this company is that their vehicles are open-air. Most of the other companies use regular cars. On a chilly winter morning, that cold air wakes you up! If you plan to use this service during an extreme weather day in winter or summer, dress accordingly! Pro tip: bring cash to tip your guide at the conclusion of the tour. read more

Antelope Canyon was the most anticipated trip of Hubby and I's trip to northern Arizona. It was a four hour drive from Sedona. The canyon is amazing and everything we expected. However, the one star deduction was for the disappointed guide, Roger. The truck ride across the sand was a couple of miles. Hang onto your loose stuff because it is a very bumpy and sandy ride. We walked a few yards into the slot canyon entrance on a sandy desert. Highly recommend hiking boots or closed toe shoes at the minimum. There was only three families totaling 9 people in our group; however, Roger rushed us so much that we ended up in the group in front of us. The pictures that Roger took of Hubby and I were terrible. He did not wait for us to stand before snapping a picture and the final picture before the exit was dark. Needless to say, we did not have any good pictures of us in the slot canyon. After the slot canyon visit, there was a walk back to the truck. The ride back was more bumpy than going. The cost of the tour was $112.00 per person, but we felt pressured into giving Roger a $20.00 tip at the end of the tour. The Canyon is spectacular and worth a visit. We only wished that Roger would have slowed down and helped us get one usable couples photo. read more
