The office has been here pretty long, it's nice and pleasant to wait in, the staff is friendly and gets you in the system as soon as you come in. There are only a few pages to fill out as a new patient and very little hassle to deal with. They then take you back and check your eye pressure and pupillary distance. Once they're done they walk you into one of the empty rooms with all the equipments. You're going to get either one of the optometrists and they're both equally great I've heard, and since I have already personally experienced with one I definitely recommend it for others to come and get your eyes checked! I was seen as soon as I walked in. They did a great job taking images and testing my eye. Dr Shields was super nice, patient, and explained my results thoroughly. I never felt rushed or treated like another number. Jasmin helped me out my whole way through and even hooked me up with a couple pairs of glasses through my insurance. This is my only eye doctor and place I'll order glasses from here on out.

Dr. Shields explained all of the results of my examinations to me in terms that I could understand. I wear reading glasses every day for work as I'm constantly in front of a computer screen, so my eyes tend to get very irritated and dry by the end of the day. She offered me a coupon for an over-the-counter eye-drop solution that I'm using daily now. I was able to pick out a new eyeglass frame, too. Dr. S exhibited precision skill with each treatment. There is a certain inherent fear when eye surgery is mentioned. I am no exception, but after the first treatment, any fears were gone. I ordered a pair of glasses over a month ago and have been trying to get an update. The problem is that no one ever answers the phone. I've called at different times throughout the day--9 AM, noon, 3 PM--and every single call goes straight to voicemail. I've followed the instructions, left voicemails, and have never received a callback. It's incredibly frustrating when a business is impossible to reach, especially when customers are simply trying to get information about a prescription order they've already paid for. I understand offices get busy, but consistently sending callers to voicemail and never responding is unacceptable when this is happening on a daily basis. I hope management addresses these communication issues because the experience is nowhere near what it used to be. I Would not recommend this optometrist office.
