I'm going to start this review of the front office woman. She tried to sell me on the idea of not using my insurance to pay for the visit and instead use cash. She wanted $175 cash. She knew I had insurance but tried to convince me using fear like somehow using my insurance was bad. Insurance is MENT to be used. Also, giving out my private information about my benefits in front of the lobby? RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL Then when I got into the chair I was told they wanted "special" x-rays that the regular dentist doesn't do. Over the phone I was told my dentist x-rays were fine. No mention of "special" xrays. I agreed because with her poor note taking skills, that shes very proud, (if they were any good she wouldnt have repeatedly tried to push me to pay in cash after i made it clear over the phone i was looking for a dr in network) forgot to write down where I asked her to pull my x-rays from my dentist that I took a couple months back. The front desk woman tried to gaslight me like I never said to pull my x-rays from my dentist and we never had that conversation over the phone. Strike 2. Unfortunately my dentist office was closed for lunch so I agreed to the x-rays. They looked the same. Legit nothing different. Then comes the periodontist. Friendly man except for the dismissiveness. Told me I had no gum recession and that the bleeding would stop if I switched from an Oral B electric to a Sonicare. He only acknowledged that I had a bleeding problem in one spot. The problem is my ENTIRE mouth bleeds when I wake up in the morning. My gums hurt! He ignored that too. I repeatedly said this and that i spit out blood in the mornings but was dismissed. Gaslite and hustled by the front desk girl and a dismissive attitude from the Dr. Won't be back and will be looking for a second opinion. Both my dentist(using the same one for 8 years) and maxillofacial surgeon who went to HARVARD (used the same doctor for 5 years) both told me I have gum recession and to see a periodontist about that and the bleeding. Weird to be dismissed when my 2 primary doctors who've known me for years said I need to see a periodontist. Oh and another uneasy feeling? The gentlemen that came after me clearly stated that he felt he was being hustled every time he was there. Plus I had to cancel the first appointment because my dog was sick and then the front desk girl told me there's a $50 cancelation policy if it's past 24 hours prior to the appointment but since it was my first time I was "okay". Then 6 days prior to my appointment today I get a text saying if I don't confirm at least 48hours prior to my appointment that's also subject to a cancelation fee! WHAT?! You all aren't hurting for business expecting $175 cash because you all know too well that insurance will negotiate that down to like $90. Then hustling for "special" x-rays. Way to make it clear that it's all about money from the first contact. Even signing the paperwork if your insurance doesn't pay up within 30 days you have to cover it. I've never signed anything like that!! Here's to praying they even process my claim on time when I know all they want is cash. I got the feeling I was being hustled and then the man after I walked in said he felt that way every time and stormed out, yeah not a good look! Over all a super uncomfortable experience. I'm worried they wont even try to bill my insurance. I cant sleep because of it and now I need a second opinion with someone who will take my problem seriously. I wasn't going to post to yelp but the owners reply on Google motivated me to copy and paste my review here to futher warn people of this unacceptable behavoir. The response to my review on google was manipulative and dismissive. The owner held zero accountability for anything I said here. read more

Since this office moved to only Henderson it's extremely disorganized. Can't locate and files, keep telling me they would call back and didn't and then when asked if my insurance paid was actually told for me to call them. Service has really gone down and seems rushed. I am finding a new office... this one isn't cutting it. read more

Look no further!!! Hands down the best in the profession! First things, first! Let me start with the entire staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming every time I come in. I've been coming here for over a year working on my periodontal and I'm definitely on the right track. Cindy (hygienist) is the best, she is friendly, professional, and makes sure I'm comfortable, and she's funny! DR D is by far the most efficient and friendliest dentist I've been to. The entire staff always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable. It always takes the nerves away. If you're going through periodontal you're seriously in the best hands. For the past 15 yrs I had put off doing a crown lengthening procedure, I knew by doing the procedure it would only enhance my smile. I had a bit of a gummy smile and had trained myself how to smile so it wouldn't show. I was advised to do procedure by Dr De Andrade but yet again I procrastinated. As a Dental Assistant, I know what the procedure involves and that Dr De Andrade is a great and talented Periodontist. I've seen and assisted during the procedure many times in my 15 yrs in as an assistant, but I'm a baby and I was very nervous to have the procedure done. I finally scheduled it and opted to do oral sedation so I could be calm. The procedure was performed yesterday afternoon, I have minimal discomfort and slight swelling. I am a guy who doesn't like going to the Dentist. I avoid it and hope it won't be necessary. It works until, oops! I needed periodontal work and after meeting Dr. De Andrade at a meeting, I asked him if he would take a look at me. (This was a Thursday night, I told him a quick overview of what I thought I needed and he arranged to see me the next Tuesday.) It all started before I even got there. Nathan (Office Coordinator) emailed me the forms. Saved time. When I walked in the door of the Office, things start to get even easier. Nathan is a whirlwind of organization and precision (these words will appear often in describing this Office). He is friendly, approachable and will put his full attention on you. He checks to see how you are and learn what you need. He doesn't waste your time and he is as patient as you need him to be. The atmosphere in the whole office is like this. The waiting area is comfortable and you can see Carolyn or Dolores focused on screens and keyboards - busily making things happen, but available for a question. Everyone in this Office knows about helping people feel "welcome and comfortable". (I love that about this place.) From the moment I decided to talk with Dr. De Andrade, things got easier. This is a guy who "Listens". He wants to know what is important to me about my teeth and what's going on. He is personable without being over-solicitous or phony. He genuinely cares and believes that he is in the business of "Care-Giving". He lives it and it's obvious. That, by itself is amazing. This is a guy you can count on and he won't BS you and he won't take advantage of you. (To me, these are things that are harder and harder to find these days.) He has Dental Assistants both seasoned and new. Barbara has a delightfully energetic presence and worked to immediately make me comfortable in the chair. She has been there for a while and knows the Doc well. (The dental chair has a massager for the back! - Every little bit helps.) Katherine is competent, attentive and gently reassuring. Both Assistants move with practiced ease and don't hesitate to ask questions. I'm not talking about a Spa - I am talking about an exceptional Periodontal Office. Yes! A Dentist! It is called Anthem Periodontics and Dental Implants. I had a tooth with a hole in it (under the gum, eeeee-UUU) and it was getting painful. I had put it off as long as I thought I could get away with it. I also found that I had a failed Root Canal. I met with the Doc and we agreed that the teeth involved were best turn into implants. I told the Doc about being a "chicken" about the dental chair and when he started to numb me, he said that he had the "Chicken" numbing protocol. (It made me laugh out loud with relief.) He gave me the "local" in little steps so I didn't have to climb the walls from getting stuck. He kept me informed the whole way and he checked on my comfort throughout the process. No pain, no discomfort. (Yes, I was stressed - but it was out of habit.) He removed both teeth and they had different degrees of challenge. He was exceptional. He made me comfortable the whole time and was attentive to detail as well as my experience. He told me what was going on, let me know what he needed from me (tilt my head or lean my face one way or another). He was patient, precise, efficient and comforting - all at the same time! Listening to him made me think this could all work out beyond just good enough. He called me the next evening and checked on me. He asked about very specific things I was doing or feeling and reviewed what was coming up next. He reminded me that we would connect in two weeks, answered some questions I had about eating and we are off to the races. I did follow instructions. I iced my face the way he and Barbara said - viola, no swelling today. Post procedure pain was very easy to manage with Ibuprofen. The details are the important part. This guy and his staff are delightful. They don't take their patients or their jobs for granted and they make it easy to do what is necessary to get my mouth back on track. This man knows what he is doing, he won't steer you wrong, he won't make you feel wrong or stupid (too many Dentist's wag their fingers with "shoulds"). Dr. De Andrade is someone you can count on. I would trust this Doctor with my Wife, Son or Daughter. And I am actually comfortable thinking about my next appointment with him. Thanks Bob read more

Where do I start...I was referred to Dr. D by my dental student from UNLV. My student did AWESOME research finding Anthem Periodontics for the very meticulous portion of my dental plan. From the very beginning...My financial visit with Ms. Dolores was thorough and extremely helpful. She was patient in answering all my questions and was receptive and understanding of my deep desire to get this procedure done without going broke trying to do it. First half of surgery was smooth sailing; Steven really put me at ease and was cool as a fan. 2nd half of surgery was easier than the first!! After my 2nd surgery, was the 1st time I actually noticed the 'changes'. It literally brought me to tears. I have been unhappy with my smile since the age of 9...and I am well past 40. My husband was referred to Dr. DeAndrade by our dentist for some periodontal care and straight away I was in a panic. We just had a baby and became a one income household and I was very concerned about what the costs associated with his treatments would be. From start to finish Amber and Kirstee were nothing but patient with me, willing to explain, and explain, until I understood what was going on. Additionally and most importantly, they worked to come up with a plan that would have his treatment paid for by the time his visits were over, rather than adding to the monthly medical payments we already have. My husband found the hygienist to be friendly and efficient, sharing stories with him to keep his mind off of the procedure and aside from some minor soreness, he was back to his usual self by the next day. No one wants to need specialized dental care but when it has to be done, it means the world to have a practice that is understanding and efficient. Highly recommend! read more

I had an implant put in over a year ago from another Oral Surgeon. I have complained to 5 different dentists that there was something wrong with it. I finally asked these dentists who they would recommend to find out exactly what was wrong. The answer was unanimous, Dr. De Andrade is your guy. I called that day an was seen that day. The 4th dentist of the day I might add. I've had a lot of dental work done and this was by far the most professional and FUN office I have ever been in. Dr. De Andrade showed me on his High Def Big Screen exactly why I was having a problem. The bone graft on one side didn't take. It was obvious to see on his giant screen but missed by 5 other dentists and surgeons. They scheduled the surgery to remove the implant and redo the bone graft the next morning. An hour later I was on my way. I have had no pain whatsover. I haven't even had an Advil. This man is a true specialist. The other dentists couldn't even remove the crown on the implant. They all said they had to cut it off. Thats because they dont have the tools for all the different implants. Dr. D has them all and had the crown off in 5 minutes even though the screw was stripped from everybody else trying to remove it with the wrong tool. Save yourself a lot of grief. Go see Dr. De Andrade. Learn from my mistake.Get the job done by someone that actually specializes in this field!!! read more

I have always been a coward when it comes to dental work of any kind. My wonderful regular dentist referred me to Dr. De Andrade for a periodontal consult. It was decided I needed my bottom four front teeth pulled and implants done. I was a mess with fear. Dr. De Andrade explained every step while his office staff comforted me and explained everything from appointments needed, payment options, medications and driver I would need. I was still very scared. When my husband and I walked in for my surgery the office staff was wonderful. They explained everything to my husband and took me to a massage chair to relax. WOW. I was still expecting pain when I woke up or at least by the time I got home. I was wrong again. I had NO pain. I never took any pain meds that were prescribed and never experienced any pain. Two weeks later I went for a follow up and a minor problem with a rough edge was corrected and Dr. De Andrade was so wonderful with an upbeat attitude.
